It's possible if scan teams got magazine earlier, indeed, the earlier we will get the chapter the longer we will wait for the next one, but I don't think they will get it before next week, even if they do it would be risky, but again I might be wrong.

in other news you guys seen the anime version of Luffy vs Kaido? We dragon ball z now with bright colours and over the top aura everywhere. The roger vs whiteboard CoC clash was done perfectly, should’ve kept it in that style, instead they butcher it with bright colours everywhere so it’s hard to see what’s going on exactly

I like the hints cause i like puzzles, so for me is just another one.

I feel like the hint "providers" are not the greatest puzzle constructors though. It feels like I'm either getting a 5 piece puzzle for toddlers (like when it was literally Rocky jump-roping.. Super easy to go from there, logically, to Luffy "jump-roping" Kaido given the chapter before), or trying to solve a 10x10 Rubik's Cube. I feel like they're either so obvious they chart into spoiler territory, or so non-intuitive that only the provider can figure it out.

Yeah i was afraid of that too, most of times when theres that kind of holidays break, spoilers come a couple of days up sometimes to almost a week earlier, but it depends on various things and on when japanese holidays are, this time Japanese holidays timing shouldnt have affected the spoilers release that much I think,. I thought we would get on Tuesday/wednesday 16th/17th or at earliest maybe the week end prior, anything before, is way too early, and in the end Im afraid all this madness will end up with Shueisha countermeasures, they are obviously aware of all this, OP 1057 is already trending on twitter.



Yeah it makes things tasteless and instead of growing my interest it ruins it, i missed the older fashion spoilers that were coming on wednesday or just few days before chapter release. also it reflects that insane ego thing and competition going on between providers; its all about who 1st says something and things keep escalating to the point we started to get hints before official previous chapter is released. not mentioning the amount of fake hints /spoilers coming with that, making info difficult to sort out.

I honestly feel like Shueisha is wising up lately. Japan has traditionally been very protective over IP, whether it's Nintendo or manga. Like the joke about a poor kid from South America making his own Nintendo Switch out of cardboard, and the Nintendo CEO flying out to sign a Cease and Desist order for the kid and destroy it. Lol. Or, more realistically, music. Nintendo (again) provides no way to get their music outside of their video games; They don't sell tracks that I'm aware of. Yet, they relentlessly pull down music content from Youtube from fans who just want to listen to the Bowser fight song or whatever, and who very likely already bought the game the music is in. Same thing goes with manga / anime. We've seen a lot of crackdowns over the years which usually shifts the spoiler schedule around, frustrates people, and some poor folks who were selling the stuff to the scan providers get arrested and likely ruin their lives. I'm honestly VERY surprised we haven't heard of any crackdowns lately. I'm wondering if they are wising up, and using this as free marketing.

They already provide the latest three chapters for free, and these spoilers are constantly causing OP to trend in regions it normally doesn't. Those trending tweets can connect to people who may have been on the fence about One Piece for years, and finally push them over the edge to indulge and give it a try. Maybe, just maybe, they are letting this happen. At this point if they aren't letting this happen, then they are just incompetent, because based on how the spoilers / hints materialize and their access to their distribution, they should probably be able to figure out what the heck is going on and stop it.

OTOH as thankful as I am for services provided by consistent providers like Redon, I see it as hypocritical to get upset over others trying to compete, even if they are being risky about it. Everyone involved is walking into the dark side of a morally grey area, and at this point it just feels like a pissing contest of people trying to capitalize on someone else's work. At this point it feels less like "this is too risky!!" and more territorial. I could be completely wrong, but the amount of fits I'm witnessing from one person doing something ethically questionable over the process of another person doing very similar is a bit ridiculous.

You make a good point, but the films have never been strictly cannon. Parts of them, sure, but never in their entirety.

Film Red is going to be a nightmare of people cherry-picking material to promote their arguments as canon, IMO. Haven't seen it but from what I've heard it sounds like it's going to propel the power level discussions into uncharted territory. I wouldn't read too much into a movie not having a character. Until Yamato officially joins in the manga, it'd be a major spoiler to put her in the movie as a SHP. They've spoiled things in a similar way before but only one I can recall recently was Denjiro being Kyoshiro. Even after Jinbei officially joined on WCI, Oda tortured us with color spreads that didn't include him, leaving his fate up in the wind. I remember people posting how they hoped he'd be missing an arm or something to show how tough that escape was.

Agree with you, some hints feels this way, but in the general i like it

Vivre cards did have mistakes e.g. when they stated how long Shanks had been a Yonko. And of course Oda can’t be very accurate in movies occuring after the current manga arc otherwise he would spoil the manga for events that have yet to occur - Yamato is a pretty good example.
