People with cladding usually are in the yonko ballpark. Even yamato could engage with kaido for some time. Iva on the other hand was basically on the run from akainu at the war.

Fact: Sanji knows about Conq at Fishman Island, as both he and Zoro comment on it when Luffy uses it.
Inference: Iva could have told Sanji about it.
Conclusion: You're right that it's reasonable for Sanji to go through a similar flashback sequence involving Iva.
My Opinion: The flashbacks themselves are actually pretty useless for everything other than narrative padding because we already know the characters know about Conq.

But, Redon also has a history of hinting at the cover page with his first hint. I don't see anything wrong with being prepared for a cover page hint. Those are my full thoughts.

I don't get why there's so much hype around Sanji right now. Whether he appears in this chapter and gets Conqueror's Haki or not, we already know he's going to get it. But I just don't see Imu losing 2 Horcruxes in Elbaf, because that's what they are—part of him or his power in some way. It's already been hinted to us that it hurts him when a Holy Knight dies

Lol what, he facing on with Magelan 1 vs 1 n survive, who else in ID at that time can be like that?
