I haven posted anything for some time and would like to know how the info that comes from the original and hasn't being already relealed in the redrawn version is handled here? I haven't read the original comic and don't want to read spoilers. Please. Thanks in advance.

Uhm, so, I've only noticed this now, but on the original webtoon's page, there's a link to the results of the 3rd character poll. Am I right in assuming Sonic actually got first place? Or is One trolling us by forcing him there through some wacky math of votes only he can understand? If it's the former, I take it the author's decided he'll rename his manga Speed Of Sound Sonic. Good for him, so he finally managed to defeat Saitama, albeit in a different way than he himself might've imagined. Although we might be invited to his funeral soon too, 'though. Never mind Saitama himself, but Genos wouldn't let that one slide so easily.

And is that Garou at 5th place? It's been a while since I've seen him in original webtoon format. His missing demon/wolf hair is kinda confusing me. Anyone recognizing 9th place btw?

I'm so spoiled was expecting a longer read. Right when it got great it stopped at page 47. Darnit. I was so into it. Great chapter. Garou eating those monsters was freaky....

That monster must be incredibly powerful to scare even Garou.

Argh this is bananas. We need a dedicated subforum for this imo. So much conversation lost to the mush of a single 50-page thread.

Going to post more when I have time later on, but dammit I LOVE Garou. I hated him at first, but he slowly grew on me as I mashed my way through the series. If you know anything about writing, an anti-villain is insanely hard to write, and an anti-hero is insanely hard to not turn into an edge-lord. Someone ONE is writing Garou in a way that he straddles the line perfectly between anti-hero and anti-villain. He's one of the grayest characters I've ever read in a comic without being a wacky caricature like most of the characters (as much as I love them, it gets tiresome).

ONE did make a big deal of Garou being hungry after the last 9842357298 chapters of non-stop fighting/getting his ass kicked. Will be interesting to see if there's any monsterification effects from eating monsters themselves.

Also still reaaaaally curious about that discolored eye. It's always displayed prominently in panels where Garou calls himself/is called a 'monster'. And then there's the hint we got earlier that monsters occur naturally in the world, contrasting to the 'artificial monsters' made from those seed things.

I think Gyororo 'making Orochi' was a hint that 'natural monsters' can also be crafted into existence with the right chain of events/person.
