I don't wear any particular perfume, but I use body mists instead :3 The only spray I've used is the one from Bath & Body Works in the scent Country Apple =w= Smells really nice and I probably wouldn't trade it for a perfume.

Country Apple is so freaking amazing. It's so sweet smelling and wonderful. *_*

My friend just bought me every product possible in the 'Paris Amour' scent and I have to say I really like it. It's a good thing, too.
She got me body butter, perfume, body spray, sparkle spray, body lotion, body cream, hand lotion, body wash, and bubble bath.

I was like "holy crap". Good thing I love this smell! XD

It is right?? *o* Hm, I'm not sure what the Paris Amour smell is, but I'm sure it smells nice =w= All those must have been on sale or something o_o Hoarding a bunch of products that smell the same just for you XD No need to go to France, just smell yourself (that sounds really bad...) :x

Question naomi. What's the "real" difference between lotion, cream and butter? Couldn't they just give an additional name to specify what the respective thing does? I mean, they're all pretty much the same thing. I have body butter cocoa and coconut at home and it's pretty much the same thing as lotion. Moisturizing (and adding a nice scent as a bonus)...

Just bought Terre D'Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver. I didnt like it at first, but it's growing on me. It's soothing in my nose. Smells like lemongrass. Base note smells very masculine.

my current fave : Lira - Casamorati

- Still my signature fragrance, that fragrance is out fo the world, I do love vanilla-ish fragrances but not the coyingly sweet kind, just sweet enough and balanced.
- Recently I ve been trying Tobacco Vanille (Tom Ford) after using the body mist for a long time, that scent is incredibly sexy but in an elegant way.
- I got my hands too, last month, on Shalimar Millesime Vanilla Planifolia, a limited edition A vanilla, sweeter and so much better version of Shalimar, I ve been trying it lately, this is really a beautiful scent, sadly it's out of the stock everywhere, and basically no more findable.

Subz~ So I use the halston z 14. Women seem to like this smell. I always have been
given a compliment on how good I smell with that one. Though if buying from Amazon apparently there are lots of fake ones.

The second one I like was a gift from someone and is called Dark Knight Blue. Also has a nice smell. Having trouble finding the blue version of this one.

Nice taste, it is an excellent pick, i have plenty to say about fragrances since lately I ve been so addicted, Ill do an update Asap when i have a little more time, Lira is still my fave but i came across some really great scents mostly vanilla centered ( with either tobacco, spices, or woodiness )

don't blind buy, unless you re sure you will like the notes, especially considering the price of Tom Ford fragrances, Ideally try it in shop, or get decants/samples, and always try it on skin, and wait hours for dry the drown. Sometimes when you spray a fragrance its not smelling good, but magic appears later, after minutes or a hour or 2. everyone chemistry is different what will work with someone might not work with everyone. And always pick something, you like, and that fits you (like any gament)

I never understood the "pick something that fits you" thing but lately I think I am starting understand it a little, though I can't put it into words.

Yeah I usually order samples, most of the fragrances that I love or want are uber expensive, mostly niche ones (Lira is one of them I manage to get) there are a couple of other Xerjoff fragrances I die to get, but well... ( Xerjoff is possibly my currently fave Perfume designer). When sampling I can test at home on sunday or evening, and wait to see dry down, projection, sillage etc. In shop its tricky, I always mix several fragrances and get lost. Most of the ones I want , are not even in shops . I did a couple of blind buys, but I do check if notes are similar to fragrances that I tend like and read some reviews etc.

I got lately into middle eastern fragrances, pretty much all perfumes specialists/connoisseurs are raving for them lately. there are some amazing gems and often cheap and high quality, I'm not on tik tok but seems its a huge thing recently on Tik Tok. theres even shops opening now here, especially in some trendy places in Paris. I got a couple of them (not necessarily the most popular ones) and they really blew my mind.

Now Im trying to save money to get an Italian niche fragrance I have my eyes on... but oh well.
