Hi, my brother Charles (you probably know him as steelwingcrash1) is confined in the hospital right now for having Dengue IV.

As his loving older brother, I ask all of you to pray for his soul, err... quick recovery about the matter.

Nasa Polymedic siya ngayon, tinatamad lang yon pumasok sa school nun. His diagnosis for Dengue started last Saturday, so he must be recovering now.

Anyway, papagawan ko na siya ng last will nya para maging prepared na rin siya. hehehehe

Well shit. As a dengue survivor many times over (2 confirmed strains, 1 unknown because my mom went paranoid and had me pumped full of drugs before the doctors can diagnose it), I know how it feels.

For my every whim to be attended to day in, day out for about two weeks. Only hitch was that blood platelet test, which happened twice a day. God my fingers went sore then.

thank god I never decided on the medicine field. It would have never worked between us.

Actually, 4 strains and you're totally immune.

But you must be incredibly lucky if you got all four strains and survived them all. Even one was hell for me.

I hate those diseases where you rely on nothing except your immune system to cure it.

They injected darkspawn blood in you to prevent the infection from spreading. Now all you have to fear are night terrors and eventual insanity.

On a more serious note: Banko Filipino has been closed by the BSP due to insolvency. It's now under PDIC so that you can get an amount of your money back.

I'm actually a bit unstable after all those injections... Must be the taint working. I see things others call "imagination", and sometimes for no reason at all I stare at nothing which other people call "spacing out".
