anyway, now back in manila, had a dinner date with my "best friend", she talked about her plans for the future, interrupted her with an impulsive "2 weeks ago i dreamed you were hanging around starbucks like it's your office, drinking coffee and managing your business thru your tablet." and she was all "OH MY GOD HOW DID YOU KNOW I HAVE A TABLET I KEPT IT SECRET FROM YOU" then "HOW DO YOU KNOW I HANG IN STARBUCKS" and finally "HOW DID YOU KNOW I HAVE A BUSINESS"

HAHAHA yes they do! although i haven't tried any of them yet. maybe when i get to work again in iraq or afghanistan.

I'm in a whirlpool myself, because I'm dealing with two resignations this week... So heavier workload, plus they both were my very good friends in the workplace so with them gone i kinda feel lonely. And more mental shit coming with decision making and all that jazz about existentialism and philosophical questions that come as a package deal with loneliness and ambition

don't worry, may ipapalit din sa mga yan. basta ok lang ang workload and balanced, ayus lang yun.

it wasn't coffee. it was a pizza dinner date. of course, sometime after the "omg how did you know" outbursts she bragged her first check received as payment. it was more of personal stuff, what happened while we were out of sight, ideologies, etc.

then when i was about to go home her parents came by. the 'meet the parents' scenario lasted 30 seconds, and consisted of 'hi', 'hello' and 'goodbye's.

I'd go with the manga, since the anime stops at the Greed Island arc.

what a drag.. usually my preference is manga > anime. but with my current job, time is just not enough. anime is more viable time-wise.

I'd go with the manga, since the anime stops at the Greed Island arc.

you do realize that there's a 2011 release of the anime and it's still ongoing and last week just happened to be the end of the Greed Island Arc which means that we're seeing the next arc in its full glory animated next week, right?


MD, the 2011 release of the anime seems to be catching up to the manga real fast. I'm thinking 30 eps gap. It's really up to you kung ano ang trip mo, anime ba or manga. The downside to the manga is that when Togashi gets lazy, wow does he get lazy- and SJ still releases the chapters even if it's just scribbles with text bubbles. Why, I don't know. But the upside to it is that kung sinipag naman si Togashi, I've seen one of the most beautiful action sequences in all of my manga-reading history.

yeah well, no plans to do anything yet. The real reason I even had to go back to this dreadful capital is that one of my peer's dad died, and will be interred by Friday, when I had hoped to travel by Sunday, and the dinner date was simply more of an improv on my part because I sat on the bus for 8 hours with nothing to eat, the only stopover has a ridiculously empty mess hall that didn't have chairs and only functioned as a toilet break.

anyway, the new one handling OJT processes in school is a bitch. won't delve into details, suffice to say she assumed everything (wrongly, i might add) before she heard what i had to say.

I just stream. Animecrazy has speedyjoe links that are super fast and gets updated really quick. Animeseason is also a good streaming website but animecrazy uploads the new releases faster by maybe a few hours.

read the manga first, the original, Togashi's unfinished masterpiece.

the anime is just a bonus you can watch it later.
