@holy week- badtrip! good friday bday ko bawal uminom at walang mapupuntahan
@Miyi- i won't be updating it any time soon....i'm hooked on Epic III: Rappelz!
@Videogames- i kinda grew up on it...i got my first console when i was 9...i eventually moved on to PC gaming since being able to mod a PC greatly appealed to me
what books did you read KTS? i always divided my time during childhood in engrossing encyclopedias, playing computer, and singing the multiplex. haha. yeah, i worshipped roms during the days the playstation broke down and my pc is a pentium II ancient with 8mb videocard
my parents never had that much money to buy books back then. Though, I usually engross myself with the Charlie Brown Encyclopedia we had back then and also that encylopedia that we had back in our elementary library that's was fun to read (I forgot the titles).
When I was a10 or 11 I was reading the comics Tintin and some of the books of Enid Blyton. After that it was on to Nancy Drew and the likes.
but most of the times, I was playing outside, hanging out with friends--typical stuff that the 80's babies do.
@l4pb
coincide your celebration with the ressurection of Christ! Double celebration!
re: books
oh yeah, encyclopedias too!
i was able to "force" my folks to buy me the complete britannica set! and it came with a history series and medical set from time-life! set us back by 55 grand almost 15 years ago! too bad i they couldn't include that paranormal series with the amazing illustrations with ufo's and secret societies...
it was also around the time we got our first pc. so there was no way i could ask my folks for video consoles....
sinimot ko rin lahat ng reading materials sa elem lib namin, pero pagdating ng high school at college, hehe, imposible na ata un sa dami!
also got a bunch of nat geo mags. sabi ko na before, my dad would translate them for me before going to sleep instead of reading me bedtime stories.... i thought we had the most number of mags until i saw my neighbor's which was 3x as much!
other materials are at the latter high school/college level during my elementary days on science, history, and architecture/civil eng. oh, don't forget "mature" stuff like my aunt's ob-gyne books sometimes filled with "graphic" pics and illustrations...
oh, and my dad's....
pr0n
collection....
i even brought them to school ....squeezed inside my encyclopedias.... BWAHAHAHA!.....
just imagine the look on my pervy classmates!
the ob-gyne thingie was even used by my science teachers as a visual guide...TWICE! (elem and high school), hehe, the pervy "science geek" that i am....
meat, gambling, 53X, drugs, alcohol, yosi and other vices...
. it's both cathartic mentally physically. especially mentally. imagine looking at girls all day thinking of the insides not the outside. and i dont mean insides as in personality
sometimes tho i blame them
bee-othch-ees
i'm not that religious, i rely more on philosophy than religion... heck the way i act, i dont have a religion . i do believe in a god, just not the god that catholics worship... like i said, more on philosophy. hey, try it
@yonie
guess all those religious hammering by the "brothers" didn't get in...
re: dress code
reminded me of a famous theology priest in college, wouldn't allow women wearing slacks/pants and anything more "flirtatious" than that in his class. marami akong alam na babaeng naubusan ng damit at napilitang bumili ng mga bestida to be able to attend his class!
wish my system was like this or more accurately "capable" of being like this....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
oh man, they (death note anime) finally did it!
episode 25, deathnote anime now out on you tube....
@mandriva: yeah my friend showed it to me last week... so identical! come to think of it, vista isnt that impressive. dad had a laptop with vista in it. i played with it but i was pretty dissapointed, everything has been seen before... from widgets to folders to aah... it sucks
remember those blogthings stuff? i had nothing to do so... The Cure Shares Your Taste in Music
Your mind is a creative hotbed of artistic talent.
You're always making pictures in your mind, especially when you're bored.
You are easily inspired to think colorful, interesting thoughts.
And although it may be hard to express these thoughts, it won't always be.
re: blog thingies
sorry, don't want to reveal my psych profile, my speech/writing patterns and last.fm music profile (in the near future--needs more data) should be enough...*down there in my sig, in the spoiler tags*
@ yonie

kakaka "alternative" mode ko lang. next, new wave or soundtrack/musicals mode. you should see me in my beethoven and pavarotti mode!
* "Vincero! Vin----ce-----ro!" --> from nessum dorma finale *

oh, reserving the mormon tabernacle version of hallelujah chorus for easter!
i really like my amarok music player! better than itunes!
"Amarok is much more than just another music player or iTunes clone; in fact, it blows iTunes away. It is Kryptonite to iTunes Superman. It's the Death Star to iTunes' Alderaan."
— Will Wheaton
just imagine... lyrics, wikipedia (for tracks, artists and albums), musicbrainz and last.fm integration, an sql based music database, ipod connectivity and it's open-source!
Your mind is a firestorm - full of intensity and drama.
Your thoughts may seem scattered to you most of the time...
But they often seem strong and passionate to those around you.
You are a natural influencer. The thoughts you share are very powerful and persuading.
FINE! join the bandwagon! only because i liked what i got!
this is in no way denotes my approval or acceptance of these kind of blogthings.
don't blame me if you get swept up in its consequences....
Your Brain's Pattern
Structured and organized, you have a knack for thinking clearly.
You are very logical - and you don't let your thoughts get polluted with emotions.
And while your thoughts are pretty serious, they're anything from boring.
It's minds like yours that have built the great cities of the world!
Now, let me go back to organizing my music collection by genre, artist, album, cd, title and bitrate! afterwards, try to make sim city 4 in linux work again so i can continue to plan my great cities!
this was taken a few months ago when i had sc4 working under linux....
too bad recent versions of wine got broken running this...
You have a dreamy mind, full of fancy and fantasy.
You have the ability to stay forever entertained with your thoughts.
People may say you're hard to read, but that's because you're so internally focused.
But when you do share what you're thinking, people are impressed with your imagination.
@tochits, yeah I'm familiar with tokyotosho.com. It's one of the richest sources of anything japanese. If it's not in tokyotosho, it's a hint na mahinap siya hanapin
yeow that amarok player is teh bomb! im getting that... im familiar with KDE. our slackware version has KDE and gnome and one really ugly gui i forgot the name . im taking a break for a while from studying. about two weeks. i need to grab best thesis...
@brain patterns: i noticed that all who took that are different! hehehehe and i was expecting my pattern to be the number one choice.... well at least im thinking in my perspective . i like that blogthing, it really agrees with what i think of you guys (bakashi the passionate, KTS the organized, and clarity the dreamy)
