Yeah I had a time picking which side I be on Pirate do anything I wanted Marine earn the trust of the people and gain rank and status

i think il be the first one here to say if be a Marine.... i would be Loyal and do what im told till i reach the top... Once i was Ranked fairly high... id pwn all you pirates out there in the name of DARK Justice :P

I think I'd be a marine at first, learning their skills, knowing their structures and abilities etc.; then - when they don't offer me any chances of career in their organization - I'd leave and head out to have fun on the seas pirating and pillaging some of the "loyal" WG-nations.

I dont know who I would chose. Both have negative and positive stuff. Pirates have all the freedom thing while being a marine is a lot more meaningful. I dont think I would be happy living in anarchy like most pirates do or being a marine constantly fighting pirates or wars.
I would have to chose none of the above

Marines are manipulated and controlled by the WG.
I love thrills and a sense of Adventure so I'd probably take the same path as luffy

Definitely Marine.

Even if it is an organization, you have some kind of freedom as Smoker showed it with his decision to go into the Grand Line. You can evolve and do what you want in some kind of limit but you can grow in such an organization in a positive way : if we look to Kobby who seems to be THE marine with the perfect sense of justice, he seems to like the organization and have no problems with his ideals.
Globally, the Marines are always helping the people, doing normal and duty things : they are exceptions linked to the Blank Century, some of the pirates (like fighting against a good crew such as Luffy's), and a problem linked to the Marine Officers : some of them should be sent in ID such as the one that during Enies Lobby's Buster Call, killed hiw own marines, and such as Aka Inu during the Ohara's Buster Call.
But the main problem is for me the Marine Officers that are corrupted, evil etc ...

Nevertheless, Marine is still cool but you have to be high rank to enjoy the most the freedom and your ideals.

I still think neither is a good choice. I wouldn't enjoy the military life even if the government which I had to serve was not corrupt.
Pirates are criminals who don't really try to accomplish anything....
I'd rather be a civilian....

depends. pirate for sure, but every pirate are like idiots and in the real world theres no pirate that are pirates for a dream or the adventure. itd be fight after fight with every crew and marine so fuck that u cant really have time to relax.

id be a bounty hunter if itd be up to me. way better. u get a fight once in a while and u can chill and every pirate u fight makes u want to try a higher bounty everytime so u get strong like that. and u get to chill and ur rich and ur legal. haha

I think I'd just travel to find cool places, maybe be a part time bountyhunter to earn money.

But if I met someone like luffy, I would definetely want to help him become king. I think my dream would be kinda like Ussop, I just want to be a warrior and be brave, but not captain

a marine has to follow rulles
a bonty hunter isn't nowed as a hero, so IF my df was a logia I would just kick some random roocki and then become a 7bukai, I've not to follow orders(almost anyone showed up in the first reunion), I'm free (look at mihawk, he just went all do way out of grind line in is little boat cause he was bored) and I'm knowed as a hero (look at croc) so its perfect.
