I saw about 10 or more besides me in different parts of mangahelpers.:) Also there are people who are russians, but live in different countries here.:)

lawlett-kun
That's a difficult question.:) We actually are both in Europe and Asia, but still 80% of the population lives in European part of Russia, thus the majority of the population normally accepts that we are europeans.:)

Well, we have to bring them all into this place somehow.

Oh, and yeah, I thought you should know. lawlett-kun is former good_boy, and right now he's just trolling. Don't take everything he says too seriously. He's just trying to trick you because of his new username. He does know where russia is.

That'd be nice actually. :amuse

I've studied Russian for 3 years when I was younger, but I've forgotten the most part. I can understand some things, but I can barely speak in Russian. Sometimes it's easy to understand only because I'm Bulgarian, but some words are soooo different. Like the word "майка", which means "mother" in Bulgarian but in Russian, it's... "tank top"? If I remember correctly.

Oh, that's good to hear.:) Now after you told me I really remember his previous nickname.:)))

Yes, things like this actually happen very often in slavic languages.:) Like normally I can understand the general meaning of polish when I read and even considerable part when they speak, but sometimes it's really funny, because of the difference in the meaning of the same words.
For example: the word sklep (I hope I'm not mistaken in spelling in polish:) ) means shop in polish, while in russian the word склеп means tomb. :)

Oh I know some Polish/Russian funnys as well. That time when we went to Russia by car and got lost in Warshawa the one old guy was always like "prosto, prosto, prosto!" Which then we figured means straight on. Very close to the Russian word for 'simple'. >_>

Yeah, that's actually always funny, cause when all the summer I talk in Spain with polish people they are laughing at us, because some words sound funny for them, but it's the same for us.:)
The thing is that it should be quite easy for any slavic language speaking person to learn another one of our languages in year.:)
