No, it is not arguing for the sake of arguing. If I use the term "Monster Trio", it implies that a group exists, the so-called "Monster Trio". If I use the phrase "Those three are Monsters", it implies those three are "Monsters", but it doesn't put them in a specific group together. It is important that Nami said it, the physically weakest Straw Hat. Franky, Robin and Brook never use such vocabulary.
Also it is debatable if Pre-DJ Sanji > Robin. From Robin joining the crew to Sanji using Diable Jambe, there is nothing that suggest so..

It has othing to do with strenght. It has something to do with character portrayal. Oda never puts Zoro in the same situations as Sanji, be it Baratie or WCI. Because Zoro is a badass swordsman, and Sanji is an emotional cook.

Actually, someone here is. This didn't become a Zoro vs Sanji debate, but a Sanji = Supernovae debate, of which Zoro is a part of, and aside from Luffy, Law and Bege the only one with any evaluable on-panel feats.

It is pretty clear Sanji got his increase from a non-truthful newspaper article.
Mr 2 counts as two agents because he has two genders. Has nothing to do with being twice as strong.
Well, we are at a point where we compare Sanji to the Worst Generation.

Because?

No, but Jinbe has been implied to be similar in strenght to Luffy by this.

Lufy didn't use KKG or King Cobra, which are his equivalents of Gyojin Karate Ogi: Buraikan.

See my response to charged lighting. It is not about what happened, it is about different character portrayal.

Sanji defeated a Fishman officer underwater. Arlong takes great pride in being a fishman, Sanji just humiliated his race, but Arlong only thought of Zoro as someone dangerous for him.

Again, it is not about what happened, but about different character portrayal.

Everyone survived Enel's bolts.
Sanji was a great hero in Skypea, but he didn't stand out as a fighter. Again, it is about different character portrayal.

Yup the were great. Still, Sanji was made to look silly, because Oda makes fun Sanji all the time. It is part of his male shonen hero defying character design, just like the fact that Sanji constantly gets associated with Okama, because he himself isn't masculine in a shonen hero (best example are DBZ characters) kind of way.

I don't think Zoro really planned on dieing here. Basically, it has something to do with his believes, but I let's just agree to disagree here, because It would get complicated and I am still not quite sober from last night. I might pick it up tommorow. (wrote this last)

Honestly, if something really annoys me is criticism without arguments. What really annoys me is that you are reffering to someone else's arguments to reinforce your accusation. Because no one else here accuses me of, basically, understanding nothing at all. I have spent 15 years reading One Piece, and before that, I watched the anime since it was available in Germany (2002/03 I think) and from my posts, you should know that I know a lot about the hidden references behind One Piece, so if someone plainly says you understand nothing, it does quite offend me. Maybe you just don't understand me? Sometimes people talk away from each other in conversations. If that is the case, I apologize. Please keep in mind that I am not a native english speaker.
I've analyzed Sanji during WCI in quite many posts, and usually got complimented for it. Only now that we are at a point of powerlevel discussion, people disagree with me, but I am fine with that since I am usually in the minority here anyways. I actually enjoy discussing with MJ3, Charging Lightning and the others, that's why I come to this forum in the first place. In Germany, most people are anime-only so I don't have that many people to discuss here.
My arguement is that your pretending to be unbiased about Sanji but are going out of your way to read his feats out of context. How did you miss read that?

Those that I tagged more or less would have written the same things I would have to counter your arguements. Nothing wrong with me not wanting to repeat what is already being said. I have been writing on this forum regularly and eventually arguements go around in circles.

I didn't read anything out of context, you read my list out of context.

Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji were the only capable fighters at that point. However, while all three are undeniably strong, Sanji is far behind on almost any instance (as a fighter) minus the Water 7 arc.
Followed by a list that compares Sanji and Zoro' portrayal as fighters. I wanted to highlight that Zoro is the one that is constantly portrayed as the "badass fighter", while Sanji just isn't. He has other qualities. As M3J said for example he saved Nami from Enel, a play on fairy tales. (Prince) Sanji rescues a "damsel in distress", with a giant beanstalk in the back. That's heroic and badass in it's own right, but not "badass fighter" like. Sanni doesn't cut mountains... or giant beanstalks, like Zoro did the very same arc.

Those that I tagged more or less would have written the same things I would have to counter your arguements. Nothing wrong with me not wanting to repeat what is already being said. I have been writing on this forum regularly and eventually arguements go around in circles.
Those you tagged all replied to my comment with arguments, that I could reply to again. If you like their post, there is the "like" button, no need for posts like yours. I know that argumemts go around in circles. For myself, I just leave such threads if I don't enjoy them anymore.

They are way more of a group then the "trio" of Luffy, Zoro, and Nami that you made up mate. Oda always puts those three together as a symbol of the Straw Hat crew's main strength. They're always in the same panel, using combo attacks, fighting the three strongest villains in the arc, having their strength respected highly by their crew etc. If you haven't realized that by now then you seriously need to re-read certain parts of the manga. "Monster trio", "our three monsters", these are all the terms I saw Nami using no matter which translation I looked at. If you really wanna argue semantics so much then post the panel where Nami, Usopp, and Chopper react to Moria kidnapping Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji from an official translation.
Also it is debatable if Pre-DJ Sanji > Robin. From Robin joining the crew to Sanji using Diable Jambe, there is nothing that suggest so..
You CANNOT be serious here....

Feats aren't the only way to evaluate characters. They are the most effective way to evauluate characters yes, but portrayal and hype exist for a reason.

The only "non truthful part" was about Luffy planning the entire thing by himself. The only thing clear was how exaggerated Luffy's feats were, just look at everyone's reaction to Luffy's bounty and compare it to the reaction to Sanji's bounty. You're grasping at straws to undermine Sanji here.

There is a huge lingual difference between Monster Trio and our three Monsters.
Yes, Oda puts them in these situations because they are indeed the three strongest fighters (at that time), and they are all brave. But that doesn't make them a group of equals, which is what the fan-term Monster Trio implies.
And I didn't make up the Luffy-Nami-Zoro trio, Oda did. These three are the very first heroes Oda designed for his Manga series and they form a classic Shonen Hero trio. From a plot design point, they are just way more important than Sanji.

You CANNOT be serious here....
Why not? Robin's feats in Alabasta and Skypea are pretty good. I don't think Sanji pulls drastically ahead of her with anything.

It definitely is not and you just say it yourself down below.

Feats aren't the only way to evaluate characters. They are the most effective way to evauluate characters yes, but portrayal and hype exist for a reason.
Portrayal can be used for estimations. For example, I definitely think Kid is among the strongest, because he has been portrayed as similar but different to Luffy. Hype on the other hand is rather meaningless in most instances, unless it comes from someone like Sengoku, someone who knows what he is talking about. It is made clear time and time again that the majority of people in the One Piece World have a rather limited knowledge.

No, that's not the only part. Morgans omitted entirely (because he couldn't know) that the Tamate-Bomb was an accident and no one planned for it to explode. He also omitted that Big Mom abducted Sanji, Sanji got a bounty due to his Vinsmoke name, but that name holds no power for Sanji himself.

Monster trio and our three monsters both imply the same thing, a group of three people singled out for their monstrous strength. Monster trio doesn't imply they are all equals, it implies they are quite literally a trio of monsters. I don't understand how you can't see something that simple. Luffy, Zoro, and Nami being the first characters Oda came up with does not put them in a group wtf. They were your so called Shonen hero trio for like what, a dozen chapters until Usopp was introduced? There are 900 plus chapters of One Piece. Why isn't your shonen hero trio seen together in panels, why is there no dynamic between all three of them like the monster trio dynamic, why has Oda never even called attention to the three of them being an important trio in the SH? Nami is placed with Usopp and Chopper as the weak trio. Nami isn't more important from a plot design point at all. What has she offered that is way more important than what Sanji or any other member of the crew have to offer? The SHs are just a bunch of pirates with their own individual dreams, stop trying to grasp at straws by falsely claiming that Nami's more important just because she was introduced before Sanji.
Why not? Robin's feats in Alabasta and Skypea are pretty good. I don't think Sanji pulls drastically ahead of her with anything.
Just stop man. I really don't want to have to argue with someone over why Sanji has always been stronger than Robin.
It definitely is not and you just say it yourself down below.
Calling Zoro a "badass swordsman" is subjective, an awful argument to why Oda portrays him as way beyond Sanji, and has nothing to do with what I was talking about.
Portrayal can be used for estimations. For example, I definitely think Kid is among the strongest, because he has been portrayed as similar but different to Luffy. Hype on the other hand is rather meaningless in most instances, unless it comes from someone like Sengoku, someone who knows what he is talking about. Uh no, using portrayal alone anyone can see that Luffy, the main character with his 5000 plus fleet, 1.5 bill beri bounty, and 5th emperor title is clearly above Kidd who's been portrayed as what exactly? A vicious and cocky pirate that has tried to take on three emperors with less than impressive results. Even characters in the manga like Caribou can see who's been portrayed as stronger. We can still use hype and portrayal to discuss how strong certain supernovas are.
Yes it is the only part, Morgans thought the tamate bomb was a part of Luffy's plan. He thought EVERYTHING that went down was because of Luffy's "charisma, strength, and superior intellect" which we as readers obviously know isn't true. Big Mom abducting Sanji is irrelevant. We know for a fact that Sanji got his 177 mill from his Vinsmoke name, but the fact that he jumped all the way to 330 mill means there were other factors at play other than his family's name like the feats he displayed.

People who think that sanji's bounty is superior to most supernova are delusional imo.
Do you, in all honesty believe that supernova (outside of Luffy and Zoro obviously)bounty did remain the same as shabondy archipellago two years later??

Sorry to interrupt, your conversation has been enjoyable so far and i can understand and agree with both of you on some points. But i need an explanation over this:

Just stop man. I really don't want to have to argue with someone over why Sanji has always been stronger than Robin.
It might be only me, and @~Charging Lightning~ it seems obvious and trivial for you. But imo Robin > Sanji pre-timeskip.

I too believe that Robin could very well be superior to sanji pre time skip.

His best stat is speed and Robin has shown that her Devil fruit has no problem bypassing an opponent speed for example against Hakuba who is comparable to gear 2nd at the very least and very probably stronger than pre time skip sanji.
You might say that it is a post time skip robin feat but when you analyse her two years "training" it wasnt really fighting and physical improvement like zoro or luffy but rather gathering intel and such under dragon revos.

Also keep in mind that Robin has never fought an opponent that gave her a one on one hard diff fight so we shouldn't once again underestimate her.

Lmao, delusional's a little harsh, no? There are only three supernovas that we haven't gotten a confirmation in bounty increase (Urouge, Bonney, and X Drake). X drake I could easily see having a higher bounty than Sanji. I'm on the fence with Bonney and Urouge tho since Bonney is in hiding and Urouge's low bounty from 2 years ago and chill attitude makes me think he probably didn't get a huge increase. Anything's possible I guess. Either way does it really matter? I already said I don't believe power levels to equal bounty amount.

Really? What feats does pre skip Robin posses that puts her above Sanji pre skip?

EDIT: Wait @Takuan after reading into your post a bit more I think you might be confused here. I think you're under the impression that the discussion is whether or not current Robin is stronger than pre skip Sanji? The debate has been whether or not Robin was stronger than Sanji before he developed Diable Jiambe (so if Alabasta Robin and Skypea Robin is stronger than Alabasta Sanji and Skypea Sanji).

Pré time skip Robin?

she could not immobilize the shadow of Zoro with her arms, how could she catch Sanji's legs?

There is no great difference in pure physical strength between zoro and sanji before the time skip

Don't worry, there was no confusion there. I'm comparing pre-timeskip Sanji to pre-timeskip Robin as well.

I guess Sanji had more feats compared to Robin, due to him having a more important spotlight in general. Like when he got his biggest powerup pre-timeskip (Diable Jambe), Robin in Enies Lobby didn't get a single fight due to her situation. Going off feats to compare these two would be kind of unfair.
In my opinion, Robin pre-timeskip is a hax machine. Nobody in the SHP crew could deal with her, aside from Luffy.
Basically, she only needs her clutch technique to break someone's neck, and that person is done for. The only exception is Luffy here, thanks to his rubber buddy making that technique ineffective on him. But both even Zoro and Sanji would be dead if she just grabbed their head and clutch.
Unless you're thinking they have some kind of inhuman neck muscles and can resist that lol

I don't see any way Sanji can prevent Robin from haxing him tbh.

General Zombies have been stated to be physically very strong, especially when combining a strong shadow (here with Zoro) and a strong body. Hogback was working on combining different pieces of corpses in order to create even stronger Zombies.
Also, don't forget that Zombies are already immune to attacks or techniques that would normally kill a normal human. Robin's technique i cited above, where she clutches someone's neck, cannot be used against a Zombie. There was nothing Robin could have done, aside from trying to prevent them from moving which she apparently tried, but hasn't succeeded for long enough.

So you think Robin could beat Zoro as well as Sanji pre skip? Idk man, Robin is hax but I don't think she can just automatically just beat anyone that isn't made of rubber or has a logia. Hell I don't think Robin would even beat Franky in a fight (he's already seen through her grabbing balls technique after all lmao). She actually has to be physically stronger than whoever she tries to clutch and no amount of hands that she blooms will give her enough strength her to clutch the likes of Zoro or Sanji imo. There's also the fact that Zoro or Sanji could blitz her before she gets the clutch in. Robin is the best assassin on the crew by far and she could probably do some major damage to people much stronger than her like Zoro or Sanji if she catches them off guard. But in a head on battle she would get pummeled.

I don't think she necessarily needs to be physically stronger in order to clutch. At least, the person needs to be WAYYY stronger in order to resist. See her fight against Enel's priest in Skypeia, that giant dude was physically very strong, most likely stronger than Robin, but she had no difficulty whatsoever to handle him once she started to fight for real.
Franky might be difficult to deal with due to being a cyborg; but a normal human? How can a normal human being resist having his cervicals broken by Robin's clutch? I'm npt saying everybody can be haxed by her, someone like Garp most likely wouldn't as he's miles above her in physical strength, but Zoro and Sanji pre-timeskip shouldn't be in such a category. I don't see them being able to resist.

Also, about the blitzing part. I don't know really. It's not like they were miles ahead of her, to the point of blitzing her. If we're not assuming "catching off guard", so in a head on battle as you say, then i don't think any of them can blitz her.
Plus, even if we assume Zoro could blitz her and cut her, that would be the end of her before she can hax him; but Sanji wouldn't one shot her the way Zoro could with cutting her. Again with Robin's phyical feats during Skypeia, Sanji isn't one shotting her fast enough to prevent her from haxing him.

The Robin vs yama example actually proves my point. Robin had to weaken Yama severely by relying on using his momentum against him and taking advantage of the trees around her before attempting to clutch him. If Robin could have clutched Yama any time she wanted to then why run away from the ruins continuously getting injured instead of clutching him instantly? Why rely on the environment to severely weaken him before clutching? Obviously because he was too strong before he was on the verge of unconsciousness. Him free falling also helped
All of this:

Could have and would have been avoided if Robin had the strength to one shot clutch a conscious, full strength Yama from the get go.

What are Robin's movement/reaction speed feats that suggest she would be able to dodge or even track Sanji or Zoro. Sanji pre skip has soru levels of speed and was able to keep up with the third strogest six powers user, what has Robin shown pre skip that suggest she can track that?

That is a very good point lol
Right, that fight actually proves your point. I mean, i could use good old argument of PiS, and Oda not wanting to end every Robin fight with a clutch since that would be pretty boring.

Track Sanji? As long as Robin can see him she can grow arms on him. Are you implying that Sanji pre-timeskip was so insanely fast that Robin could not even see him when he attacks? That's pretty extreme.
"Tracking" would be a fitting term to describe how she handled Hakuba; this guy was so fast he was being invisible to the eye. Now i know this is post-timeskip. But i don't doubt that if post-timeskip Robin could use her powers on Hakuba, then pre-timeskip Robin could use her powers on pre-timeskip Sanji. I might be wrong but that's what i think.

I don't think Zoro really planned on dieing here. Basically, it has something to do with his believes, but I let's just agree to disagree here, because It would get complicated and I am still not quite sober from last night. I might pick it up tommorow. (wrote this last)

He did plan on dying so Luffy could live. I'm actually confused on why you think Zoro wasn't planning on dying when he pleaded with Kuma to take his head instead of Luffy's.
I didn't read anything out of context, you read my list out of context.

Those you tagged all replied to my comment with arguments, that I could reply to again. If you like their post, there is the "like" button, no need for posts like yours. I know that argumemts go around in circles. For myself, I just leave such threads if I don't enjoy them anymore.
Sanji doesn't cut mountains because he doesn't have a sword, and he can't do the kind of damage that Luffy can because he's not a rubber man who can make his body parts larger or stretch his arms back for more power. Sanji's a normal human without any weapons, so of course he's not gonna have a feat like crushing a town or slicing mountains.

In the world of OP, he is as he is not a devil fruit user. Main issue is that he gets underestimated constantly by readers, and by enemies because he didn't either have a bounty or high enough bounty because Sanji uses his brains more than Zoro and Luffy and doesn't rush into fights like they do.

Funny how we discuss how Sanji matchup to Supernovas and we going to see it happen in next chapter probably. Is Oda reading websites on this stuff?

Can't wait to see how he does. Already Hawkins is putting out warning on trouble can happen to Drake and the others with Sanji and Law they are after.

Also Robin over Sanji? Lol, now that is stretching. Even pre-timeskip, Oda we prominently pushing and still is with Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro as the top fighters of the crew. I don't think Robin even at debut was stronger than them. Of course, Sanji won't hurt a woman so if your using that, he won't try to hurt her, but can defend himself. Though in face to face, I don't see it possible at all for her. Think this is going bit too far on undermining to say Robin was stronger even if its pre-timeskip. Not doubt Robin's skills as assassin and all, but lets not get carried away now.

When people say Robin > Sanji, what they mean is her devil fruit, the ability to grow limbs and immobilize target and break their necks.

It depends on her strength, if she is strong enough to keep the opponent stuck. I think her chances to immobilize Sanji are quite good because she only has to focus on grabbing his legs since nothing else is a threat. If her strength is good enough there is a chance that she would be able to deal with Zoro as well but would have more trouble since he is physically stronger and she has to neutralize his arms too. I don't think she would be able to immobilize Luffy due to his stretchiness and ability to inflate.

She did have trouble with Jigoro who had Zoro's shadow and couldn't keep him immobilized but on the other hand, she was able to break Aokiji. One could argue that Aokiji didn't resist with his full power since he knew that attack cant harm him but she also effectively dealt with Hakuba who was incredibly fast and quite strong.
