Do you want proof for the term monster trio of proof for Oda calling those 3 'monster" in the same sentence?
I am not interested in roaming the internet for the raw manga and explain to you which of those moonrunes mean "monster trio" but if you are fine with the fantranslation then here:
If you want to look for yourself then check out chapter 606, page 6 and look for yourself how Caribou refers to the monster trio.
In the official translation he says "those 3 strong...".

1- Caribou says that he is lucky "those three" that fought the kraken aren't there. Caribou knows nothing about the crew members strenght and severely underestimates them and only knows what he has witnessed during the kraken fight. This means nothing and doesn't prove that the monster trio designation is canon as it is used in the one piece fandom.
2. Oda is known for joking a lot in his interviews and in the SBS so no luck here either.
3. Here Ussopp said that they (wadatsumi and the sea king/fish) were both monsters do we now have a "monster duet" too?

First of all those two are actual monsters. This analogy is just awful...sorry.
Caribou uses "怪物三人組" in the manga so feel free and use google translate to check what it means. Romaji would be: "kaibutsu san-nin gumi" which literally translates to "monster trio"...
At the end of the day only the term "monster trio" is debatable since Oda spearating those 3, in terms of strength, in several cases from the rest is canon.
Escape from the Pacifista? Those 3 leading 3 groups, respectively...
Learning haki? Again those 3.
Beating pacifista after the timeskip? Those 3.
Fighting the kraken head on? Those 3.
Looking for Shirahoshi, stealing Caribou's loot and also starting a war with BM? Those 3.
It is not as obvious as you make it out to be.
I agree that Jimbe aside there is a gap between the top fighters of the crew and the rest. This is facts but the designation of "monster trio" this expression was made up by the fandom long ago and is now so established in the community that people use it in their reasoning and treat it like a stable and durable part of the crew.
Many are often saying that "X is no longer in the monster trio, or Jimbe will replace Y in the monster trio, when as I have been saying for a few post there is no "monster trio" it is not a title or category officially recognized by non strawhats like "admiral" for example

First you said it was fan made and now with proof it's just not a title officially recognized by non Strawhats? lol
First of all whether it is fan made or canon(it's canon, used by the author himself) this is a simple discussion about the three strongest Strawhats.
The height of arrogance that when an Author legitimizes something outside and inside of his own manga and an irrelevant fans says " No it doesnt matter, it's still fan made"
In a recent SBS Oda revealed Morley of the Revolutionary Army built Impel Down's Level 5.5... Is that not considered canon because Oda said it outside of the manga? Get over yourself.
The potential for the "Monster Trio" to be set up as the main Commanders of Luffy's crew is there.
Like Kaido's Disasters or Big Mom's Sweet Commanders
Personally I like the Idea that Yonko Luffy has a "Monster Trio" that are the strongest fighting force of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet
"Knight of the Sea"Jinbei
"Pirate Hunter" Zoro
"Black Leg" Sanji
Nope it was Nami who said why those 3, i kinda feel bad for that monster : Alabasta
Nami never did that
First time anyone ever referred to them as " those 3 monsters" was Usopp when he was referring to Luffy,Zoro and Sanji's monstrous strength back at TB arc
NOPE Oda has never used the japanese of "monster trio" ever, no where in the manga to classify Luffy, Zoro and Sanji as such, it has always been Nami, Usopp or someone else calling them at 1 point or another as monsters, a term often used for characters with unnatural strength, Chopper, Franky and Brook have also been called monsters at 1 point or another.
People often delude themselves by saying monster trio to justify their own nonsense as to why stronger people than Sanji not joining the crew, it seems this nonsense has even gotten worse now that Jimbe has officially joined the crew since he is stronger than Sanji!

Are you serious here? Geez. Monster trio isn't a title it's a construct by the crew to label Luffy, Zoro and Sanji as the 3 monsters of the SHs.
When somebody says Oda uses the word monster trio in the manga it doesn't mean he magically pops up in the manga and calls the 3 like that, it means he made someone call them like that. All words by the characters are Oda's after all, smh.

There is another scene in which Usopp groups them as monster.
Wrong. Nami called them monster trio in TB.

You don't understand it at all. Sure the others were also called monsters at one point but unlike the M3 they aren't grouped together.
At this point, could you please provide any source there Oda grouped Brook, Franky or Robin with Luffy, Zoro and Sanji?
I can list you a bunch of moments were oda grouped the M3, btw.
Absolute nonesense. Monster trio stands for the 3 strongest in the crew it has nothing to do with the rubbish you mentioned.
Please note back when Robin and Franky joined the crew many also considered that they'll replace Sanji as the 3rd strongest....never happened though.
Really? Aren't you the one who believes Oda doesn't entertain the idea of highlighting those 3 in terms of strength compared to the rest?
There are countless examples where they take the spotlight as the heavyweights of the crew.
Again, point could be made that the term "monster trio" is fanmade but the notion of those 3 being significant stronger than the rest is 100% done by Oda.
Etc....
Monster trio =/= all 3 are the same level.
Monster trio = another level as the rest

Dude the fact of the matter is the whole monster trio thing is fan made, the 3 have always been the top 3 strongest until now since Jimbe is clearly stronger than Sanji, i dont even know why your responding to me in such long winded speeches, the fact of the matter is there is no such thing as monster trio, we as the community gave them that name!
Also if you think Luffy, Zoro and Sanji are in the same level then clearly your in denial or delusional
We dont know precisely yeah but we do know that she went from taking 0 damage from Nami's thunder on the island to getting roasted from Zeus discharge on the sea so that's quite a difference.
Did she get hit with Zeus-enhanced thunder on the island? I think the thunder on the sea was more powerful, so it would likely do more damage even to a healthy Big Mom. It still didn't stop her, and it still took Sanji to save the Straw Hats and save the day, so to speak.

Can you read the raw? As a matter of fact, Aohige, a spoiler translator and japanese OP fan, actually confirmed that oda uses the japanese word for "monster trio" in the manga so stop your rumbling. Feel free to look it up yourself. The dude is called AohigeAP.
If you could actually read, you would see I never said that.
And no, Jinbei isn't clearly stronger than Sanji. It was Sanji that finished off Wadatsumi and that in Jinbei's arc. HM was the finisher while Jinbei's ultimate technique wasn't. Portrayal favours Sanji here.
By the end of Wano this whole Jinbei > Sanji nonesense will finally end. It was exactly the same back when Robin and Franky joined.
I love you guys here at the MH community but I scarcely post these days just to avoid the semantics....The debate at the moment is if the Term or phrase Moser Trio has ever been coined or used verbatim by Oda the author of the series it self...Or if it's purely a fan usage thing that we just refer o the strongest 3 of the group as the monster Trio....
Seriously...Enough scans were shown with other crew members saying those 3, or Luffy,Zoro & Sanji In context as the main fighting force of the Strawhats….they've even been matched up against opponents in arcs as such with Zoro taking on the #2 bad guy....The debate is senseless and offers no clarity but I told you so or I was right...
Whether you like the term or not they are the Monster Trio..it's not a false term or a stretch..Jibei has not formally fully joined the strawhats yet..& I believe when he does Sanji will fid a way with his raid suit to surpass him or edge him a bit. Because he's obviously stronger.
The difference between our ways of seeing things is that you take the "monster trio" term seriously, while I can see it is one of many jokes in the series like the " idiot trio" chapter 106
Like @Shasha23 said I think you all take this so seriously because it is a way to have Sanji be in the same category as luffy and zoro in some fashion after his new world mesaventures and with Jimbe (a guy who tanked a named attack from a yonko and sent them flying with one of his own) on the horizon.
I know that you will not try to question yourself or try to considee what I and others are saying, so let's leave it at that and agree to disagree on this point.

--- Double Post Merged, ---
Let's please be respectful to each other while debating, insults have no place here.
Oh you think I'm a Sanji fan boy and want him to stay at the top of the crew? lol.
I hate to break it to you but I'm not much of a Sanji fan. Feel free to look back on my comments. I was trolling about Sanji's bounty being Higher than Zoro's, that's all.
You wont find a single post about me claiming Sanji is over Jinbe or Zoro.
I was simply asking of the Monster Trio would shift because of Jinbe's induction into the crew. That's it.
There was no deeper meaning nor did I claim Sanji was any stronger than either of the other members of the Monster Trio.
I mean, you could have just answered the question. You claim I'm taking this too seriously, but your the one who brought semantics into this.
Even if Monster Trio was fanmade, it would be talked about among FANS. Me and you are FANS so you'd think it's be discussed.
So how about I make you happy and reframe the question so your feelings dont get hurt....
"Many fans consider Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji as the Monster Trio (a fan made title to describe the 3 strongest Strawhats. With Jinbe's having officially joined, does the dynamic of this Monster Trio change at all? Are you expecting Sanji's raid suit to maintain Sanji within the Monster Trio or do you think Jinbe usurps that role since he is an Ex Shichibukai?"
There. That shouldn't hurt your feeling at all.
Now let's get back on topic and answer the question.
