Without Sanji though, the crew would have been dead or lost to Big Mom. From him saving Germa to saving Luffy, his actions were vital. If he didn't choose to save Germa, then they wouldn't have helped Luffy and the others. If it weren't for Perospero, Big Mom likely would not have moved from her spot, she looked too blissful.
Without Jinbe, Pedro and Sun Pirates the crew would be dead too, not sure why is Sanji standing out, everything was temporary solution in long chain of events.
Supposedly, but if she was able to take her wrath out on them or capture them, then why hasn't this been implied or mentioned? Surely the news would at least mention the two well-known groups falling victim to Big Mom. And Big Mom herself also didn't act like she had either of them, and if she did, why not use the Sun Pirates at the least to lure Luffy back? She knows Luffy would come back for his friends, as he did with Sanji, so why not use Jinbei or the Sun Pirates? Or even the Germa 66?
The news dont know how WCI ended, Morgans was already out of Totland when Big Mom returned to the sea so it couldnt be mentioned that two well-known groups fell victim to BM. Luffy willingly left them behind knowing full well what might happen and that they might die, BM cant lure Luffy back. The Baratie and Fishman island are still in danger of BM, nothing changed, Luffy left without defeating BM. The only difference is that now, BM's anger is directed at Luffy instead at their friends and families.
Right sanji as a chef did not deliver on his promise of K.O BM with his Cake.....Shr ate it and enjoyed it very much...but it did not stop her rampage...Thats a fail..but it's s fail that is sorta of overshadow'f by the Alliance's triumph in rescuing Damn I and Dis crediting BM...
But Sanji wasnt spectacular in the BM arc. Aside from his cooking not stopping BM.. He also very stupidly beat the crap outta Luffy who didnt even fight back...Idk how Nami doesn't still remind him of that mis step as a crew member and nakama.
He did K.O. her. He never said pernament though. You need reread the arc on that as she was knockout for few hours before getting up. It did what it did and it was huge success. I think you guys read wrong translations if it actually said she be pernamently knockout.
Can't understand your spelling on the bottom part, but not really. Everyone knows thanks to Sanji's cake, he saved them.
Also you really never read everything on the arc, did you? Sanji was forced to fight Luffy, not because he want too. He was reprimanded by Nami in the arc, but they all know his troubles with his family and such. They forgave him and move on. You clearly don't understand the characters if you think they are all angry still on Sanji and act like he had a choice, but didn't. Same case with Nami and Robin who the former has more choice to leave actually. Nami wouldn't stay mad as she know the feeling as Sanji of leaving crew and trying to go against them to save them (Especially his was more blackmail, so more reason to him).
I love Sanji and I understand his reasons for doing what he did but he should still face the consequences of his actions.
He hit and publicly disrespected his captain
Even worse he made Nami cry
One Piece is the story of how Luffy a young man became the pirate king, the most infamous and free pirate under the sun, now we can't have his own crew humiliating him, be it Usopp or Sanji, this won't fly.
In this regard I am really looking forward to Zoro's actions once he hears the full story of what happened back in whole cake island and how he decides to make the crew understand who is the captain and the respect they all owe him. I predict he will either slash or beat up Sanji then make him publicly apologize if he wants to properly rejoin the crew.
This is something that is lacking a bit in the story, realistic fights between crew members and mutinies etc imo I loved the argument between Luffy and Usopp for this reason? it felt real, like even if they are friends they have big fights from time to time but they still have to understand and respect the hierarchy of the crew (Captain> Vice captain> the rest).

It may even cause an issue between Zoro and Luffy. Zoro may be like: "If you let this fool humiliate you like that you have lost my respect and until you regain it you are not allowed to call yourself my captain". If it will go beyond words into physical conflict I cant say but it may cause something like that because Zoro has been warning Luffy about stuff like that since pre time-skip and reminded him in NW to get a grip to not let his guard down and to forget Sanji as they dont need another Yonko on their neck while facing Kaido.

Though unlike Usopp situation, Sanji was blackmail and forced to come while doing it for his friends. Usopp left over a ship when it wasn't that serious. Don't think Zoro would see it same lvl. He will talk Sanji about it, but doubt its to the point they could fight to deep lvls (Even though would love to see that). Plus Oda wouldn't have Zoro even cut or beat him up as he likely to kick his ass the same. They treat each other as rivals, so there won't be outcome who stronger, just a debate and argument if it happens.
Plus seems like Zoro in this arc would be facing his own situation that can lead going against the crew if something involves with Kuina's sword. I feel this arc will test both on understand to learn from their actions to be better for captain and crew even more.

Kinda make Zoro a douche than in the right in this situation especially his speech in PH. He cause trouble in Wano before they arrive, so he has no right to complain on taking it seriously when he cause fault in their situation.
Plus getting lost and not trying to help others in their mission make him appear selfish than point wise. You guys forgetting differences between this and Usopp situation so it won't be as deep as that. There a differences from leaving the crew by your own will (Usopp) and leaving out of force and protect them (Sanji).

A ronin named Zorojuro killed the magistrate and ran away. It was not linked to Strawhats/Law/Kinemon so while he caused trouble he didnt endanger the plan like Luffy did by rekting Holdem which caused a report of Luffy in Wano being sent to Jack and forwarded to Kaido.
Getting lost is most likely a plot purpose to avoid meeting with Sanji at this point to postpone a possible fight among the crew members. While Sanji's and Usopp's reasons were different, Zoro will still see it disrespectful towards the captain and cause trouble with Sanji or with Luffy. It's a possible scenario, it may not happen but many suspect it.

You dont get it, It is not a question of rivalry nor about who is stronger, but about pride and respect. Zoro told luffy pretimeskip to remember that he is the captain and that he must be respected by his crew otherwise he will leave.
Sanji approved whith zoro in the usopp incident, which leads me to believe that Sanji wont fight back if zoro decides to punch or slash him a bit. He will just stand there like a man and endure whatever punishment comes his way then apologize properly to his captain.
The reason I think that zoro would be the one to punish sanji is that
Luffy is too soft and too easy going with his crew.
Zoro is the keeper of the crew's pride and honor and arguably the vice captain, the man who does the dirty work.
This is the new world and more than anyone Zoro understands that they aren't playing little pirate games.

Not really, kinda lead him in trouble more as since Kaido and his crew already suspected Luffy's and Law's groups are coming after them. It wouldn't take them long to realize it was a member of theirs that started trouble as no one never try to attack the magistrate before for years until now. Zoro cost them of element of surprise and that isn't good on his side. Also even with Luffy's incident, he was still there, so again no right for him to be the "responsible" one when he screw up more and was even talk down by Luffy, Law, and Kinemon on what he did. So again he is no place to say after what he done when it could have been avoided.
Not talking about Oda how he is writing it and we don't know lost thing would lead to something as just seem he doing things randomly. Right now, he isn't helping, but Sanji and the others are. It looks bad on his end being a hypocrite. I get the fact it's disrespect, but not the same lvl as if that was the case, why wasn't he hard on Nami and Robin on their actions when they choose to leave? That because he knew they didn't go 'willingly' they were force just like Sanji with the blackmail. I can get it happening, but Zoro's tone won't be the same with Usopp who left for a more 'petty' aspect. Just saying to ya.

No I get it, but your not seeing it. Your comparing it the same as Usopp's case when it's not. This case is more similar to Nami and Robin leaving the group where they left not by choice, but by force to protect the others and by blackmail. Sanji never lost respect for Luffy or think he was any less, but the issue to saving Zeff and also his family messing things, were the issue. There is a big difference and I think your missing the point to judge them fairly and what makes them different.
Sanji will understand the situation as in Zoro too, but not to the extant they will fight each other. If they do, he is justifiable to fight back against Zoro. Even Nami was upset at Zoro's attitude when Sanji left, so he clearly isn't too much in the right that everyone agree with him or hardly at all on what he does. Not saying your points are not wrong if it be like that, but your still comparing it to Usopp's incident, when it's more Nami and Robin in their situation. If he very upset on those who betray the crew despite their intentions, then why he was never hard on Nami and Robin on their issues? That because he understand theirs wasn't a 'choice', but by force.
Just telling you on how they will truly handle it than what you think.
Also doubt he use that excuse about being 'serious' in N.W. when he isn't really right now in Wano. Again, makes him a hypocrite if he tries it and I think Oda will write their interaction in another way, not in that pattern.

Nami didn't know the situation. She thought he change, but Luffy see through it. Kinda bit bad on her character since she been through same instance like Sanji, so she should understand what's like which she does later on.
She probably understand what would happen, but still be leaning Sanji side since she understand the whole reason more than Zoro.

They were chasing a ronin, a swordsman in Wano, there are so many for them to realize that its Zoro since they didnt know Strawhats were in Wano.
Hawkins was on his way to Kuri beach to investigate the incident that Luffy caused. No one linked magistrate incident to Strawhats until Hawkins saw them.
Not talking about Oda how he is writing it and we don't know lost thing would lead to something as just seem he doing things randomly. Right now, he isn't helping, but Sanji and the others are. He's getting lost, like usual, nothing new but it was specifically done to remove him from crew reunion. I dont know what is he being hypocrite for and what he should help with, not like Kinemon assigned some task for him to do. On Zou he said he will round up the samurai and that still may happen.
I dont think Zoro will be bothered by Sanji leaving the crew because he said he would be back in his letter but he will be bothered when he hears that Sanji fought his captain. Nami and Robin left the crew to protect the crew, Sanji did the same but he fought the captain who came to get him back, which Nami and Robin didnt. Luffy may not be bothered by it but Zoro might be. Usopp left crew for a silly reason and fought the captain.
We may be overthinking this but we will see how it turns out.

Which wouldn't take them long to figure out could be either Luffy's and Law's people since again no one try to defy the regime for many years until now and right now Luffy and Law make attack on Kaido and he knew they would be coming for him. Kaido and his group aren't that stupid as you think especially higher-ups. Also doesn't change the fact he deliberately still affect the plan as Law and Kinemon were upset about it. Doesn't help how he also assisted Luffy afterwards against Holdem's group and even before meeting up with him, he attack Beast Pirates members during his travel in the land and that raise more issues and that someone apparent is defying them in the lands.
Kinda makes him a hypocrite if he says "What you doing?! Be serious of our situation!" while he hasn't show the same effort hardly at all especially being lost and taking in sites while everyone is preparing in two weeks to attack. Not saying Zoro won't be helpful in the arc later on, but his progress hasn't be for "in the desires of 'helpfulness'." Like it or not and everyone already getting a head start getting samurai in their recruitment along with other members.
I understand that and it probably happen, but won't escape to a huge fight especially since they need to be 100# to fight Kaido and his crew. No time for that and not true as Nami spoken ill about Luffy and even stole the crew's ship, so she kinda did more worse in disrespecting or equal to Sanji, but was never reprimanded by Zoro or the others due to understanding why she did it. Same for Robin as they learn of her situation too. Once Zoro finds out the reason behind it, he won't be that harsh about it compare to Usopp's situation. I am just telling you guys don't compare it to that length as both situations are different and will have different ways of being treated.
Did you forget about Shutenmaru and his bandits? Did you forget about Kamawazu the Manslayer? There is opposition to the regime, Zoro didnt stir the calm waters because they never were calm apparently.

He is serious at being lost, not like he can help it, there have been countless jokes on his account about him being lost. If there is more to it than a comical purpose it will be seen, this time its assumed because the reunion cant go without trouble and this seems not the time for it.
What head start, who recruited a samurai already? And how do we know this Zoro's trip wont end up with exactly that, a recruitment? You are too early to judge, lets wait until we see "how the cake tastes", if you know what I mean.

I can't wait for the revelations of that arc to be exposed to the crew. Zoro is gonna be like wait Wtf Luffy & probably cut Sanji with his words of how despicable he was for such actions. I definitely think it'll be the test of Zoro's and Luffy's relationship as Cap & 1st Mate.

Bro take a chill pill. My comprehension skills are fine and intact & I read my scans from stream Or sail they are reliable. And I took your advice I reread the chapter just to make sure. BM jumped right back up after eating that Cake...….All she did was have a fantasy Da Dream & Really enjoy it a lot, that's all. There was no gap in time of hours it was minutes. Capone & his Wife watch BM jet off after The StrawHats in the same chapter; The Cake was not necessary for escape, but it did Aid in it. Aside from that it wasn't a spectacular Cake to Stop BM all it did was Delay her and Save her Kingdom why, The StrawHats would do that I really don't know, it wasn't their problem.
It's a piss poor arc for Sanji and it's obvious when fans of the character try to prop Sanji up still.. No, Sanji didn't perform well at all during that arc. I love Sanji as a character but WCI arc did nothing good for his character, besides get him a raid suit and help him confront his family and father (which wasn't an issue until then) Sanji was not forced to beat Luffy up. He took it upon himself to do that and chase Luffy away instead of asking for help. He should know better, after Usopp's falling out with Luffy and Robin's situation. That's his 1st strike.....2nd Strike as a character again he was weak and actually thought about living with Pudding until he saw her true self...That was really honestly Pathetic considering how happy and ready he was for such a life.....3rd strike He didn't get into any fights or brief enough showdowns with anybody notable from the Big Mom Crew tp say Yay Sanji kicked some ass this arc...Nope no ass kicking for Sanji….3rd strike His Cake simply diverted Big Mom's attention away from them for a bit, she hoped right back up in he right state of mind ready to tango; Everybody was expecting so much more from his cooking.....Not really a 4th strike but still kinda is; because you could kinda still fell the guilt and shame on Sanji here, as he goes to Save Luffy, not injured or fatigued he basically fails and is saved and then supported by his Sibiling the Germa 66.
Nami said hse would never forgive Sanji; And when the forgiving time came around she was reluctantly cold hearted, but that was once & never again. She should be reminding sanji every so often that he was a big jerk not so long ago. Zoro after finding out is going to blow his fuse, as he should. Luffy was suppose to punish Sanji for his behavior. No just accept him back into the crew so easy, but make him earn it or prove his loyalty all over again, something to that effect. It's gonna have a backlash later

I am not even upset. You did some misspellings in your posts, dude. Also again your read wrong as it shown a timeskip and even mention that it takes 3 hours for the crew to escape the territory. Big Mom wake up hours later, not instantly after waking up as it wouldn't make sense since she would have catch up to them easily and instantly. Time did passed and she was knockout for awhile, but not permanently. I don't get where you all thought she be down for a long time as with her Iron Stomach, she be only stall for awhile. The cake was necessarily to the high degree as it help them escape and not get kill by Big Mom who was about to destroy them.
Sanji did perform well in the arc as look at the reviews of Joy Boy's, Mr. Morj's, and Craftsdwarf's channels in their whole review of the arc and they said it perfectly on what it was. Just fans in the minority fail to understand it as they were looking at more character's worth by fighting when clearly the as was not meant for an arc like that. It was more Impel Down style where it's not to dominate, but to retrieve something and someone. You missing the point crucial and your points aren't really fair on the points no offense.
1. Your argument saying Sanji beat up Luffy because of lacking trust and respect is poor evaluation of the scene. His family were RIGHT THERE (Emphasizing, not yelling). You expect him to just walk away with Luffy and tell him everything when his family has him on blackmail with Zeff and handcuff his arms to prevent escaping. Nothing in the situation gave Sanji a choice to try to speak to Luffy and the others. If you don't know how blackmail works, you better look at many series before judging it thinking there is a chance when there wasn't. He attack Luffy by force, not by his own thinking Luffy won't help out or the crew means nothing to him, but in saving Zeff's life and also can't go back without his hands to cook since that's his dream and all. Look back on the scene in both anime and manga, it was clear he was force, not because he doubted anyone at all.
2. It make sense why he would lean on Pudding as she acted the way she did and even fool Luffy and the others you seem to forget. Plus again, he is trapped in a situation prevents him to talking with his friends or trusting majority of everyone. With the situation and Pudding's kindness, he gave into it. It make sense and logical. His life is miserable right now as he is unable to do anything unless consequences not to him, but to the others around him. Him falling for Pudding is fine especially in the end, it helped everyone as she became an ally, so Pudding situation isn't really bad at all.
3. Again you prove my point on what you as your one of those who care more on the "fights" as character importance, not the character more. Despite fact Sanji has fights and clashes in this arc to prove he is stronger than he looks. He fought Yonji, Bobbin (100 million Beri + Bounty), Daifuku, Oven, and Raisin. Most of them he defeated while holding his own with Daifuku and Oven. He has shown his strength in the arc and ass-kicking and your seem to be complaining more the fights weren't more long-term which was impossible with an arc like this.
As for the cake, I told you this already, it did knock her out for hours, but never he said it she be down for good. You act like it would put her to sleep forever when that impossible. That wasn't a fail by Sanji and he shows his success as a cook with that. Oda even mention this in SBS and give props how important the cake is and if it wasn't for it, BM wouldn't have stop. If Oda mention this, then it's factual that the cake was truly important and done it's purposes.
4. Sanji did save Luffy and that didn't fail and he didn't ask his siblings to help him out on that. They came back to help him which was needed since carrying Luffy puts weight on him to escape freely especially this is a Yonko group, not average crew if you think Sanji is escaping scot-free. Germa were having trouble with higher-ups so it make sense why they weren't easy to get by with. There is no shame in that scene with Sanji and what he did. So again none of this was disappointed at all and you along with a few were misguided on how you saw the arc to go when it went the way it should.
Nami already forgave him as shown why she isn't doing that and again makes her a hypocrite since she did the same thing in Arlong Arc. She has no right to be hard on him after especially knowing what his family are like and situation on the hand. You don't seem to know the characters well and acting more your mindset than how Oda does his characters. Luffy will not act that way at all as he already show his feelings to him in the arc and know that something plaguing him and Zoro probably will understand and know Sanji was force, not willing did things his own as this isn't the Usopp's situation and something more different.
You really don't seem to know the characters well at all on what they been doing and the arc in total. Read the channels I mention and you get what they mean for the arc instead of inserting this type of style.
Did you forget about Shutenmaru and his bandits? Did you forget about Kamawazu the Manslayer? There is opposition to the regime, Zoro didnt stir the calm waters because they never were calm apparently.
Even after all that happened the plan is still not in danger, as long as Kinemon and other time travelers arent exposed, Law said it himself.
You may be right about this, I am not saying its impossible but it can also end in the toughest crisis the crew ever faced. It remains to be seen.
He definitely did as his actions are different from theirs as due to his position as a Ronin and also they trying to recruit these guys and probably know their men already. Zoro would eb someone out of the equation and be someone different and soon found out who he really is to cause danger for the others.
Law also was still upset over this, Kinemon as well, and even Luffy went on him saying Zoro wouldn't be that helpful. Read the translations, they meant it on him being trouble so far in this arc.
Still can do something while lost, but he isn't seem to be as last time we saw him sightseeing and eating some food.
Sanji is making food to attract recruits, Usopp handing out flyers, Nami is training while doing the same in Ninja format, Franky is doing blueprints, Robin is trying to get close to Kaido's and Orochi's groups through courtesan, etc.. Everyone is doing work (Minus Luffy being capture, but he seem to be training while hold) except for Zoro so far. We have to wait and see how Zoro work, but so far he doesn't seem to be really trying as hard as the others.
Glad we agree on that, but just saying if you truly compare it as the same, that won't be a good perspective as we have cases like this before with Nami and Robin. We judge fairly, not by soley on Usopp's situation alone.
Without Jinbe, Pedro and Sun Pirates the crew would be dead too, not sure why is Sanji standing out, everything was temporary solution in long chain of events.
I said Jinbei was one of the MVPs, and that Pedro was up there as well. And Sanji's temporary solution got the crew away, just as how Pedro's sacrifice allowed the crew to break free and escape. I've also said that Brook was THE MVP, not an MVP, so he clearly stands out among the rest. However, Sanji was just as key as Pedro in the crew getting out alive, and even more long-term if you count him saving the Germa, who returned the favor at the end.
She can, why wouldn't she try anyway? Luffy expect Jinbei and the others to make it out alive because he has faith in them. If Big Mom has Jinbei and/or the Sun Pirates captured, then she'd definitely try to lure him back instead of chasing him, even if it'll fail.
What indiciation or implication or proof do we have that Germa or Sun PIrates are in Big Mom's hands? Surely that'd be known by now, even if Morgans left before Big Mom returned.
Usopp did what he did because he didn't trust Luffy and saw him as someone who'd turn his back on his friends, and he made the choice to leave. He had no reason to do that, nothing compelled him to leave. Sanji however did what he did to protect his crew and Baratie, to get Luffy to go away because he didn't want Luffy or Nami risking their lives for him. Luffy understood this, which is why he didn't fight back.
I doubt Nami or anyone will tell Zoro what happened, given how Zoro might react. Or he'll learn about this and make fun of Luffy for getting his ass kicked by Sanji, and Sanji and Zoro will comically fight. Feels like the only who might care would be Nami and Chopper, at bst.
The hierarchy only exists when Luffy wants to go on adventures, otherwise there's no hierarchy. Luffy doesn't care for having hierarchy or being the captain all the time, he's far too laid back for that. Others have commanded the crew and have even hit Luffy as well for doing dumb things, and that's something that I doubt most other captains would allow. In fact, the only rules seem to be having faith in Luffy and not leaving the ship at whim, which are what Usopp went against, and why he had to apologize.
He attack Luffy by force, not by his own thinking Luffy won't help out or the crew means nothing to him, but in saving Zeff's life and also can't go back without his hands to cook since that's his dream and all. .
You don't know me personally but yet you keep making assumption about me and making your post rathe personal. And they come of as insults, so I've reported you to a MoD. I asked you to stop. I'm not Misguided, I understand very well. Debate your point, facts and your opinion about the manga and topic. Everything else is extra and as a mature person and user on the forum this is how i'll handle the situation.
Now Go back and Re read the chapter for your self, and pay careful attention. It is said it takes Hours to escape Big Mom's territory. That is said during the whole conflict of the Fishman Pirates Protecting and saving the StrawHat Pirates, before Jimbei even stays back as a rear Guard. In the same Chapter Big Mom Eats the cake and jumps back up to go handle the situation.. All in the same chapter, when she catches back up only minutes have passed......All the Cake did was serve as a distraction because she believed a Cake to be on their Ship. His cooking wasn't hype levels period...Fans were wasting on Hype ass cooking and didn't get that...We got Big MoM loved it and she's about to kick ass, not impressive at all.
1) After seeing Luffy beat up Fishman, Take down Warlords, Take on the Goverment and countless others, he didn't think the crew would try to save him, want to save him, or were capable of saving him from his fate??? That's a lack of trust. He could have shouted and hurt Luffy with his words, the one kick off the carriage was enough. Luffy never fought back so he kept on pummeling until he would drop. It's stupid, period. Many see how Sanji was very flawed in his decision here to beat up on his captain. You think e had no other choice...I see many other choices, no do I see him being coerced him that direction he chose that path on his own...He was wrong..We'll see the backlash with the 1st Mate during or after Wano.
2) It's Pathetic, for him to cry about It. Oda almost assassinated all of his coolness WCI
3) Really Bobbin, that's who you mention...Daifuku owned him. Over caught a cheap shot, no skirmish o be talked off. Rizen, again really this is who you mention. No burn for Sanji. Sanji fights, he takes the #3 opponent, he showed no prowness the whole Arc...One Piece is Adventure action/battle manga...It's suppose to be filled with fights.
4) I didn't say Sanji didn't save Luffy. Obviously he did. And Obviously he got a ton of help doing it, and he didn't have to ask for the help he needed the help.
Dude. I was referring to this. I didn't say that as a insult. I just met you, but I think your decent writer. Though this post you have clear misspells. Talking to you as adult. I wasn't insulting you in my posts. I was countering your points. If I rub you the wrong way, I am sorry. Though I have no ill will over you. I am talking to you like a person over this. I am explaining my points and telling your misunderstanding the arc. That's not insult nor in a hateful manner. I am even explaining to you why the arc is how it is.
