However, quote where I said anything about 24 years unless you're deluding yourself here.

I gave conditions in which I feel Sanji's character can be improved in an ideal setting.

Where did I say Oda could still do this?

It's like you don't grasp what a scenario is and you mistake describing a scenario as a statement of saying something will happen. That might be poor reading comprehension on your part.

Potential just means something can be better. It's just a general statement, lol.

A scenario is simply describing something within a setting.

I gave a scenario regarding potential. How is that the same thing as saying something will happen?

What even is wrong with scenarios? or creating if statements?

If there was a time when/where characters evolved, or seemed to do so in One Piece, after the time skip that's gone to hell

Again, describing a scenario is not the same thing as saying something will happen. It's describing how something could happen in this context.

You don't fantasise events such as asking your friend "what would you do if you won the lottery"?

Your boss asks you how you would do something, asks you to play out a scenario about an event and how you'd do it, you tell your boss they're bullshitting themselves?

You must be fun at parties, lol. Apparently people can't fantasise or imagine things because fantasising and imagining things = bullshitting yourself.

God, the failure this world would be if people weren't allowed to imagine of fantasise? We wouldn't have progressed in anything like science or maths and would have been wiped out. However, according to you, fantasising or imagining or playing out scenarios is bullshit... great reasoning.

I think Sanji greatness is coming....especially since he's with Zoro. Zoro is One of the 2 Strawhats in the crew that brings the best out of Sanji from both a character and combative standpoint

Sanji's fight with Queen was soooo cool..... almost as cool as Zoro tanking a dual Yonko attack... i wanna see this fight so bad, imagine the food based attacks...

I’m faulting Oda’s illustration more so than the whole engagement.

The engagement I live and think is cool also.

How it was Illustrated, the spinning of Queen’s neck, blocking prespero’s attack and hitting him also & the hit didn’t draw blood like Chopper’s slap...Annnoyed me.

But no it was kool all and all lol

The entrance was cool, tho. And any honest and realistic Sanji fan will be satisfied with the Queen match up, come on...
A YC right hand man is a cut above. Sanji doesn't have it, from what we've seen.
And the fact that Zoro managed to hurt Kaido doesn't mean he would make short work of King either. Beat him, sure. Easily, no...
Even Luffy might not win that easily. That would really underselling the guy before you've seen him fight.

I'm guessing two things:

1- Queen was completely caught off-guard by that attack, while Drake saw it coming and and acted accordingly.
2- Sanji used diable jambe now on top of that.

Other than sending his head spinning I doubt he dealt much damage with that single kick, although of course Sanji will still win this in the end it shouldn't be an easy fight.

Xdrake was said to be a match for Queen.

Casual clashes don’t mean a lot unless it was something unexpected for a character. The exchange was minor, at best show XDrake has good reaction time.

Also Queen was hit off guard.

Just looked at Sanji against X Drake. Looks like Sanji can use Hardening? The Anime totally blunders that scene by using different techniques. Maybe Sanji's become a bit stronger. Would like to see more from Sanji.

This is the gist of it basically. I've written about this a couple of times before, but Oda's made sure that he's kept Sanji from using and/or landing clean blows while using Diable Jambe on both Page One and Drake during their clashes.

So, like with most things, it's just a matter of context. It's just now that Sanji is finally being allowed to go all out without various contrivances holding him back, as has been the case for the majority of his TS performances.

Well, its a bit subjective, but kicks to make a dinosaur go round, manage to deflect arrows and even stop Perospero, all this while carrying Zoro on his shoulders....

That and the fact that he didn't use Raid Suit to me was the icing on the cake... again, subjective and personal choice but it was amazing to watch.... Sanji's fighting style is extremely unique, while Zoro's attacks are commonplace in manga fiction specially.... Zoro tanking the Yonko attacks is definitely cooler but Sanji's comeback was amazing to watch.

I already said it but weirdly I'm not hyped that much (and I know that I'm acting as a spoiled child)

To be honest, I was expecting Oda surpass all the previous confrontations of Sanji after the wait and how he treated the character during the last decade. But I'm already disapointed because compared to "The Hunter", the entrance is quite underwhelming.

It's still cool, but it is not equal or better than his CP9 entrance.

Moreover, Queen kind of lack of charisma. I hope that he's going to get a cool Awakened/Semi-Transformed Zoan Form at least.

However, if I'm still being honest, I know that I'm surely the problem here because I kind of expected the best after the worst treatment and this entrance is not the best for the moment so...
