ALSO here's something that bothered me seriously on re-read,SANJI KNEW THE SCABBARDS were in danger and gonna killed and was still on his fake chivalry bullshit

You mean, he was on his bullshit despite being stuck to a web in a room full of enemies and unable to do anything?
And despite the fact that even as far back as Part I, we saw him save women over men? And despite the fact that it was established early on in his appearance that he doesn't hit women no matter what?

yeah.... sanji should understand there is a difference between assaulting women out of anger and defending against hostile enemies

That doesn't contradict what I said though. He's saved men too, but his priority has always been women. Even Usopp and Chopper have yelled at him for that, I believe.

Oda is finally delivering something food for the character.
His initial attack vs Queen was the ight IMO, I don’t Oda drew that scene to the best of his ability.
But upcoming chapter he is displaying some kool attack, we get some hints/development about his raid suit & how Sanji can combust his legs into flame

I don't think anyone is downplaying Sanji, he's been weak, but he's going to get strong now which is good to see.

As for Sanji's antics with Women, I think Oda did a poor job explaining the situation. Sanji physically cannot hurt women even if he wanted to. It's not a matter of choice.

Although, he did still leave the group to chase women whilst Momonosuke was kidnapped... that's a situation where hurting women wasn't the situation, would think he had the wherewithal and mental clarity to still have a functional brain.

Sanji is a controversial character. In the Anime, it was actually something I found funny whereas in the Manga, it's annoying.

I guess some things don't quite play out the way the author intends in the Manga, and is far more effective in the Anime, so it's not so much shade on Sanji as a person, I think it's more of a case of Oda using Sanji as a gag in situations where it's a zero-sum-game depending on the medium he's showcasing it.

When it comes down to it, I guess Sanji will make the right choice except it comes to fighting women in which he can't do anything. In the SBS, he did point out Sanji physically can't, so I think he made some mistakes in the Manga in conveying those intentions to the reader, and I guess that's why I've hated Sanji for a good while until now.

Since Wano started he’s done a lot better, except for the Black Moriah part which was embarrassing still not a big deal..

I mean, weak is really subjective. Everyone in the strawhats can beat don krieg and arlong so they are strong in that sense.
But it's not like sanji been fighting yonko. So when he doesn't perform well, people definitely will comment on that

Not the character, but the characteristics. Sanji as a Human Being would be reprehensible and deemed pretty evil unless he has some psychological illness which seems to be the case here, but it's comedy in Manga.

That's what is meant, by all standards, he's strong. Even fodder are strong, They're just weak by certain standards. Sanji has been weak since the time-skip compared to his opponents and his peers.

I've always had similar sentiments. He's been a joke since the timeskip until the latest chapter, and I hope that stays consistent. He's been made too much of a gag character.

Sanji gives a vocal grimace, which Zoro notices; Mentions he’s felt odd since wearing his Raid Suit…Lol Is Oda trolling, I find it weird for Humans to naturally replicate abilities as Queen mentioned.

Sanji being a late bloomer mutation wise is ok. What I take issue with is the way this is handled. Sanji pranced around the new world not winning fights and being mostly weak in general and now he is getting a single massive boost that will take him from wherever he is in the pecking order now to the point where he can take on queen. Which is within spitting distance of admiral level if kaido's calamities hold up to others of their position. So we are basically getting oda cramming multiple tiers worth of strength growth into however many panels the fight between sanji and queen has left. We got to this point in the manga even though sanji doesn't have wins even against people of the caliber of the topo robbi who are by all appearances very weak for yonko executives.

Oda should have had Sanji visually beat Page One, with little to no struggle to show off his raid suit. & Page one could have came back to also establish Ancient Zoans are comparable to Awaken Zoans…

I was trying over and over again to justify the fact that Sanji has been pathetic ever since the timeskip began. Being with okamas for two years straight of course makes him craving for real women even more than it was before the timeskip. Not to mention that we got his full background after the timeskip. However, his act around Black Maria last time was the final straw for me. Abandoning his comrades for some random screaming women, got trapped and had no intention to fight. At least he could flee. He could burn the webs with his Diable Jambe. Or if Oda really wanted to make the situation comical, he could try to get out of the web's bind using his signature Love Hurricane, but no. He just stood there, screaming pathetically for Robin to save him. I admit that Sanji isn't weak, he's just a bad character.

He was testing out the raid suit , and the issue he kinda faced while he didn’t wear it again was that his hody felt strange which kinda makes sense
But yea in the context of a war looking for women and getting caught out like this was mad disappointing
