Wow, Oda’s writing and sub plot/character development for Sanji was truly lost on me. Other analyst have done a good job highlighting the themes and message Oda was trying to portray.

-Sanji used RS vs P1as sense of Duty; Stop opponent remain hidden
-Uses it again to Save Momo
Sanji hates his family but thought it was ok to use Germa’s science RS for the SHP

Until he gets augmented, he freaks out, runs away and his worst fear comes true* could be fake who knows….

So Sanji makes the decision to trash the RS; because he would rather die than become anything like Germa.

Sanji’s whole character is chivalry; If he can’t remain himself he rather die. It’s pretty deep lol.

Not bad Oda, not bad.

just letting them go as they please after wci doesn't feel right.

if paid they'd f*** up any of the islands the straw hats have saved without thinking.

i feel like sanji should've been used to give them some humanity instead of outright rejecting them.

@Ellenate I respect your opinion. Like i said I personally didn’t like it. But I’m not so bias to when it’s pointed out to me, that I can’t appreciate the story telling.

It’s also interesting this is how Sanji received his power up, but will have to build on it with his own aptitude head on forth.

I was thinking Sanji should have kept the Raid Suit since I mean let's be real here. It is a pretty cool piece of gadget with some neat abilities. So he keeps the suit and goes through these ...genetic changes but why wasn't Chopper and Franky considered? Chopper can heal his mind so to speak so he doesn't get amnesiatic randomly and Franky can mod the suit to not bring on such changes. Would have been nice to see a Raid Suit hell's memories.

I would think it’s carrying device would be more durable than Sanji simply stomping on it.

Sanji is not going to wear the Suit! Lol he destroyed it; Damaged it, it’s out the game for now please understand that.

Sanji is boosted & slightly augmented he’ll accept that as it has already happened; but if he’s emotionless & heartless like his family he wants to simply die than to continue on with his dreams or adventures.

He’s going to finish the fight how he is, My prediction is that Oda allows Sanji’s emotions/feelings become a catalyst or activation for his Germa abilities instead of the science of the Suit which comes with the personality change Sanji would rather die than take on

I would've preferred if he gave it to Franky and Usopp so that they can tinker with it and develop some new weaponry based on its technology. But then again, I doubt they are as good as Judge when it comes to scientific prowess.

Well, I think Franky has worked enough with Vegapunk's tech to do something with it. Too bad, it's a missed opportunity!

The suit being taken out is something I wholly agree with, and I'm glad Oda finally did Sanji some justice.

Sanji requiring the suit would in essence be Oda saying Sanji is trash and really needs the technology of his father to be a success.

The removal of the raid suit in a sense cuts ties with Germa and Sanji's strength can be credited to his own strength.

What makes the destruction of the raid suit even that much more satisfying is the fact that Judge's life-time of philosophy and investment has been completely rendered a failure.
Judge thought Sanji was a failure for having emotion and created 3 emotionless soldiers who are his pride and joy, but it turns out that Judge's science was perfect albeit for 1 flaw.... lack of emotion, Sanji has proven that emotion can make someone stronger.

Sanji has everything a Germa Soldier has + more, and that's the fact he is emotional and that emotion is what makes him as a combatant far superior to his siblings besides just being a genetic outlier. Judge as a scientist is actually the failure for not seeing the value in emotion.

My point was his father believed you could not be strong if you had emotion.

You explained what your point was. But this still stands to be the case.

when I go back and re-read the chapter Sanji moan & groans over Germa’s name, Vinsmoke’s name and still doesn’t wanna be associated with them….Sanji accepted nothing, he didn’t change.

Never said otherwise.

I simply said his emotion (which Judge detests) actually made him stronger.

Sora was the one who aided in retaining his emotions, so yes, the experiment worked because of Judge and Sora, but the point being Judge believes emotions makes one weaker, therefore, his philosophy was wrong from the start.

Never said his strength is not associated with Judge, he was experimented on, I was focusing on Judge's philosophy on what makes one strong.
