It's about Bibidy.

"He ravages stars and planets together with Majin Buu.

Long ago, the sorcerer (wizard? mage? it's been so long I've read Dragonball that I forgot) Bibidy ravaged stars and planets with Majin Buu and at last they came even to Earth. However,"

edit: ninja'd.

Thank you.

this confirms that kidbuu not only destroyed planets, more too stars.

7 years after the death match with Cell.

With peace arrived on Earth, Son Gohan, who has made his high school debut,
becomes a participant in the Tenkaichi Budoukai for one reason or another.
His father Son Goku also joins the fight from the other side.
All Dragon Team members gather at the Tenkaichi Budoukai!

But there is no time for them to soak in the echoes of reunion, when the confrontation begins...
With the appearance of the mysterious character Shin in the midst of the Budoukai, the situation escalates!
From Shin, Goku and co. learn that "Wizard Babidi" plans on reviving the fearsome "Majin Buu," who is given birth for the sake of destruction and massacre.

Majin Buu, who had turned hundred of planets into planets of death within just a few years,
was sealed in an egg and brought to Earth...

Will Goku and co. be able to stop plan of Majin Buu's revival and save the universe?
The Dragon Team's new battles begin!

(P.S. Sorry for poor English.)

4. What do you mean "what did I do?" --> "" what did I do?" part sounds a bit off. You probably meant: "What are you accusing me of?" "What did I do wrong?" is good.

what this text says about broly?
[2] Even in the latter half of Legendary Super Saiyan Broly's reappearance (who debuted in "Burn Up!! A Close Fight - A Violent Fight - A Super Fierce Fight") one can't help but to laugh at Goten and Trunks's mischievious fighting style. That said, not counting Gohan, there is no way the tiny Super Saiyans Goten and Trunks could win by themselves should they battle against Broly who once overwhelmed the 4 Super Saiyans Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Trunks in the past.

1. (Great translation)

2. 一体何があったんだよ
Just change the tense: is hapening --> happened? or has happened?
Your translation would be for something like 一体どうなってんだよ.

Hey there, can someone translate/verify this short notice from a mangaka?
I think it's something like "Every single thought/every single emotion increases my motivation." But there is no more context for 感想. It's just a mangaka's note on the bookcover inside. Thanks!

感想のひとつひとつが励みになります.

Stumbled across another problematic thing:

Guy in the bushes uses the japanese phrase of stirring up a hornets nest, no clue about the boy. Hate handwritten kanjis ^^

感想 here means reader comments and feedback. I would not use the word "emotion."

Translator with 0 knowledge needs help

Hello.
I hope i have posted in the right section.
There is a manga i really enjoy called SE: System Engineers.Though i can't seem to find any translated pages beyond chapter 9.
So im trying to translate it on my own. The big problem is i can't speak/read japanese at all.
My next step is that i try to completely translate at least one chapter in the next month(s).
I hope that i can a) translate the manga i enjoy , b) eventually get any decent at japanese.

I did some reasearch and i found out there a 3 ways to write japanese characters (Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana)(DUH).
Im struggling to find out which of those 3 ways is used in the manga and i need your help :)

http://raw.senmanga.com/SE/10/

Can anyone please translate this page so i have a better start at this project and tell me which characters these are. I would appreciate your help.

Your post was moved here from the TA mainboard, which is for translators' accuracy questions only.

Please visit Translators' Classroom to find some useful info for your project. Some helpful threads include How long did it take you to learn Japanese and start; Easy Manga to Practice Translating; and Recommendation thread.

Here are some wiki links: Japanese writing system; Hiragana; Katakana; and Kanji.

The letters with more strokes are Kanji. The little character next to kanji is ruby or furigana that shows how to pronounce kanji. Sfxs are usually in Katakana. Print out hiragana and katakana charts, and you should be able to find out which letters are hiragana and katakana. Remember that not all kanji characters have furigana letters, and you may find it difficult to read. Generally, elementary schools in Japan teach kids about 1000 kanji characters, which should be good enough to read shonen mangas. You really need to know kanji if you want to read Seinen, which is for older, as you will hardly see furigana. (Kids learn another 1000+ in the secondary school. ) Good luck to your project.

I think I'll redo my request, could someone translate this text here?

Not english native, bad grammar, but it goes like this:

He launched kamehameha with kaiohken at the 20th power, but it didn't work on Freezer. Son Goku desperately used his all his strenght on that attack, but Freezer rejected it with a kick and bounced it back to him. Son Gohan tried to rush to him, but Piccolo stopped, sensing that Goku was behind something. Krillin realizes that Goku is trying to do a genkidama, one so powerful that might destroy planet Namek altogether. But Goku has made up his mind, knowing that if Freezer is not stopped it will be more terrible. Freezer watches confident as Goku rises both hands up to the sky. Genkidama is a technique where a huge energy ball is created of all the energy/spirit retrieved from all the living creatures on planet Namek.
