Regarding koyoko mom. I actually think that she was some great actress before. And that she was forced to quitt being an actress becuz she got pregnant with koyoko.Hence explains why she hated her own child so much. Also explains why koyoko has such an amazing acting talent. I do believe that acting skills run in blood. but well it is just my little theory. Would like to hear your feedbacks

I agree with that. I also think that maybe her mother wasn't just being mean to Kyoko, but wanted her to try her hardest and was sort of pushing her.

Thank you, Adi-chan! I was up to chapter 45 last night, couldn't stop myself though I had to wake up pretty early this morning. I laughed all the way in midnight; such crazy and stupid characters and plot, yet awesome. XD The last 'arc' I read last night was when Kyoko had to star at Shou's PV. She was so beautiful. So much the old manga artwork, but it's still beautiful. Though I seriously think Ren and Shou's faces are too long. XD

Yep, she definitely was very beautiful like that! I also laugh so much at the characters and the plot, I enjoy the manga so much.

And yeah, there's something about the mangaka's style of drawing long faces. xD But I don't know, I'm used to it I guess, so I don't mind.

You're not the only one. I liked her natural hair, maybe she sould've looked better without the bangs, but... I don't know. But even without her natural color, long hair looks so good on her! Although I like her fresh hair cut style,

I really like that arc, its kyoko's breakthrough imo, shows how talented she is in acting, I mean I'm sure there's still a lot she needs to learn but that was amazing.

I personally have no problems with the artwork tho and I find ren attractive but maybe thats because im a boy so im not so detailed <_<

I think the heel arc is more of a ren arc and to get to know more about him. I hope this time we really do know more about him unlike the previous arc. I really wonder what happened to him. I'm enjoying it so far tho but maybe because the pace is slow that its not as fun.
About kyoko mother, that's a great theory. I can see ren helping her solve their relationship in the future

I... can't take... this series... craziness.

I'm up to chapter 78 at the moment (delayed a lot due to school), but this is as crazy as it could possibly be. I really love this arc about Ren, how he advanced and improved his acting ability, with the help of Kyoko of course. Though it was sad (and funny at the same time) looking at Ren in such a depressing state and Kyoko tried her best to help Ren, it was enjoyable. The characters are matured slowly, one by one. The pace is a bit slow, but I enjoyed it. With those wall of texts and conversation. XD

I was browsing around when I found a link to chapter 180 at Batoto, while at MangaFox it's only as far as chapter 179. So for those of you who haven't seen it, check it out!

Btw, what do you guys think of second chance for murderers? Ren obviously wants to overcome that in his self, but can you overcome that in reality? Well he changed a lot since then me thinks. However he always looses his coolness if it has to do with kyoko. I am pretty sure he can kill or injure someone if he is gonna harm Kyoko. Like the beagle guy. I am glad your enjoying this arc,cuz to be honest i am not really. Id like to see kyoko progress as an actress

Yeah, I also think that he won't stop if someone harms Kyoko. But Kyoko on the other hand has that influence on Ren that can stop him before he does something terrible. That's why she's around him as Setsuka after all. I really like her like that btw! But yeah, I wanna see more acting from Kyoko, although that's good acting from her too. It'd be nice if they envolve her in BJ's story.

well its a rather interesting question... I mean both Ren and SHou made a huuuuuuge impact on koyko . Shou- because of what he did Koyoko's "inner awesome cool devil" has awakened. Basically Shou gave her a motivation to become an actress.... And who knows maybe unknowingly Shou has created a possibly the most famous woman" to be " in Japan. Its just a possibility, but with her terrific talent I think it's possible. And I mean Koyoko will help out Shou too , not gonna spoil not going toooooooo......
Ren- is the guy who always comforted koyoko in her tough times. hes the one who basically guides on her carrier path. I think she sees him as a "nii-sama". Well atleast i see him. Tbh i kinda want Koyoko to end with SHou. Yes hate me and despise me. =(

LOL~ No, no, I'm not gonna hate you. XD I'm still torn between the choice of Ren or Shou.

To be honest I think I like Shou more than Ren (don't kill me, please). Shou is quite a jerk in the beginning, but eventually I think there might be a reason behind what he did to Kyoko back then, and even though he acts like he doesn't care he actually does. That's just sweet. XD

Ren, in the other side, is a calm man with a composed attitude. It is sweet to see him lose control (almost) around Kyoko sometimes, and that changes him to be a more lively person. He is warm and is a nice supporter as well. Like you said, he guides Kyoko throughout her career and is another idol for Kyoko.

I wonder which one is better for Kyoko. XDD

Bleh. You're lucky I've taken the (obvious) signs of Ren being Kuon who gave Kyoko that precious stone, or else I'd kill you for spoiling me.

At any rate, I can see where you are coming from. It's not that I dislike Ren and Kyoko. It's true that they are in a more friendly state now, compared to Kyoko with Shou. But, I don't know. I can't feel the chemistry between those two, lol. Unlike with Shou. Remember when Kyoko had to play in Shou's PV, and when Shou saved her from the stalkers of Vie Ghoul (yeah, I've just gone through those parts). Like what mentioned by someone before (IIRC), there is a bond, something about Kyoko and Shou, which no one can cut, not even either of them. When they are together, it feels like no one could break through them. A bond which is built from childhood is very strong. Ren too, but it was only for short while, right?

Just don't kill me for saying that.

Oh, a live-action of Skip Beat!? I would definitely look forward to it. It would be fun to see someone portrayed the crazy Kyoko in real life. XD

Yes, Maximum7 and MangaStream is picking up this series again. Hopefully they would manage to get through chapter 180 and continue the releases in a more steady pace! <3

Speaking of chapter 180, what do you guys think would happen next? Ren is so scary in his current state, but his eyes show something sad. Do you think he would open himself up soon to Kyoko? :3 Or would Shou get between them again?

Eh? Chapter 180 is already out by Mechgouki quite a while ago. You can read it at online reader, at sites like Batoto for example. :O Or you can go to Mechgouki's page right away. Check Skip Beat!'s MangaUpdates page here for better reference. ^^
