Slam Dunk, eh? Not really my style but I've picked up a couple of things that might interest you guys.

1) Slam Dunk - 10 Days Later
Inoue drawing Slam Dunk on a chalk board about what happened 10 days after the series ended, if what I'm told is true.

The artbook is something i wish i actually had in my hands but it is worth another download onto my new comp

Bahhh, he doesn't have any officle close range shoots, he trains the close range with the middle range.

The ten days later thing is genuine. God, I wish I knew what they were saying. If someone would translate it, I'd definitely make some sort of Edited Manga out of it.

Eh, you don't have to be like this, really.

By some sort of a Edited Manga I didn't mean an actual Edited Manga, more like subtitles of sort and find a way to arrange it on a page to look good, like cut out the panels and the like. If ever there's a translation, I'll think about something.

Once i read that Inoue Sensei could make a Slam Dunk 2 after he finish Vagabond, is that true or just a stupid rumuor that people are putting in the net???

Well it would be a long long long way off considering the supposed length of vagabond. I really hope it happens. I want to see Hanamichi lead shohoku and show everyone he has been with that he is the real deal (although, i can see why some wouldnt want to see this considering the fact that he probably showed it best when he played injured.)

Do you know that Inoue Sensei create Sakuragi Anamichi from a real person, he was a great basketball player from japanese high school history, but ha died with just 18 years old getting hited by a car. He has taller as Anamichi(189cm) and had a body of steel.

i think sakuragi was taller than that though. I remember his hieght being in the 190s (i am american so i dont really know the metric system). That is an interesting bit of information.

Here goes the translation:
Hanamichi Sakuragi has born in 1968 on a poor family. His mother died when he was a child.
Without the love of his mother,he used violence to solve his problems.From a little child to a big boy: when he was 12 years, he was already 175cm taller, and because of the many fights he had on the street his body gain strong muscles.One time he had a fight with the sports comitee of Tokyo University(it´s an high school), and the seniors put him in the team to try to solve his bad behaviour. When he had 17, he was called to the All Japan Basket Team, Hanamichi Sakuragi 189cm(same has Sakuragi in the manga) was a pro to the japanese, he alone could do 33 points, 10 shoots,3 dunks, 1 three point shoot and 10 free throw. Even if his team loses by 59 points, Hanamichi was always the spotlight. The basketball world became fascinated and he was nominated the japanese hope for basketball.
At that time his father became hill.Hanamichi came back to Tokyo and that would be is last treep.When he get off the bus in Tokyo, in the crossroad of the street to the hospital, a car was come against him. He had a body of steel but the impact was to strong. He was taken to the hospital. But before he enters the operation room he died of internal bleeding. He was just 18 years old. The world of japanese Basketball was destroyed and they call Hanamichi´s death an "perda colossal"(it means a great great loss, but i dont find the correct word in inglish). The mangaka Inoue Takehiko create Slum Dunk based in this person.

That was really interesting to read, and sakuragi was 188 in the start, and then he ended in 189.2 :P Me and my buddies laughed about that part, it was written in the end of the series too.
Never knew he was a real person, that was really weird, like I said Oo
