Kid should still have something up his sleeves, otherwise it would be weird for him to be the son of the death god. Plus that mosquito dude doesn't have too much time to be in this form, he usually uses forms from not so long ago cause it takes less out of him.
About the mosquito dude, isn't weird that his uberform uses bats instead of musquitos. Still it's a nice twist.

Well we can never be sure about creatures in Soul Eater, he might be some kinda mosquito vampire lawl.
Anyway it's kinda impossible for Kidd to be dead, I don't know about Free but Kidd's kinda a god lol, even if it's a death god, I bet on him using the same power he uses when he takes out his skateboard or cloak to make it look like he loses an arm.

And to answer your question : I don't think he really "came" to the dark side, it's more like he finally accepted the dark part in him, and that made him stronger. I think.

Well it's not really clear right now but I do personally think that Soul is able to use a certain amount of the Oni's power but that if he goes beyond the limit he's been given he would turn mad like the Maken.

huh? I thought Tsubaki's new forms were Black star's new powers. well Black Star can't really gain much of new powers, probably just a bigger soul. as for kidd, probably some new stance in shinigami bunshin(other than the stance of Sin) or probably achieve a higher resonance than death cannon.

We have only seen two of Tsubaki's new forms though. I guess there's still the "advanced" form of the shuriken mode to be seen, as well as an improved youtou mode (one can dream... but that would seriously kick ass )

Don't know if this is the right place to post this but,is it just me or is the animation in soul eater just keep getting better as i just watched ep. 23 and it was for lack of a better word amazing. I am seriously loving both the manga and the anime of this series!
