Dear lord that's a lot of content but it's a very useful guide. I may just follow that and start with the VN. I've used Vns a lot before anyway.
Sure thing ;)

Heh, you have experience with Visual Novels? :heh

Yup. They're like Interactive Novels haha. A friend I met in Ireland had a collection.
Hmm they can be at least, though not all of them have choices. They have voice acting and music too, so they're definitely more entertaining in my eyes :p Which ones do you know? Did you read any?

Hey, when compared to you, most Otaku's, or even just enthusiasts in general fall short of the line :XD
If you truly think that then I don't think you're aware of how scary true Otaku can be, and I'm not even counting the japanese :p I would say I'm pretty average actually, I'm just a fan of something that's way less known/usual among the typical fans of japanese media.

Then again to a beginner even a average person can look like a mountain :toc

True. That's the problem with Westerners though. We develop a Mainstream idea and don't look outside of that path.

If you don't mind me asking, Why hold open applications now after so long of doing recruitment differently?

Well everything's obscure until it eventually becomes mainstream. And there always are people who look outside the box and then other people follow. Don't think it's a problem of Westerners, it's like that everywhere. It depends on the individual if you're shrugged of as a weirdo or nerd or whatever, if they harass you, or if they actually check it out and then either like it or don't.
Anime and manga is far from mainstream in my eyes, but it's certainly past the point of just being something totally obscure, almost everyone in their 10s or 20s had contact with it to some extent. Still seen as something childish and weird by the majority of older people I guess. Visual Novels are something like that to your average anime fan I think, but it has grown quite a lot in popularity in the last 10 years or so. Basically a niche within a niche, but you would be surprised how many people actually are a fan of them. Fate/Stay Night obviously is the most popular among them, the whole franchise has a pretty big forum in the west. I consider myself a pretty big Fate fanboy, but even I'm surprised and not able to keep up when I see some threads with 20k-150k posts xD

I'm sure you're curious but I can't tell you :heh We already had them once though, long before your time here :p

Well I don't think anyone is actually able to keep up with that but they're not exactly that strict over there anyway, only if things start to get out of hand. Luckily 150k is a very rare case, depending on the section the average ranges from several hundred to several thousand, but still impressive.

My bad but staff matters aren't something I can freely talk about :)
