Discussion Straw Hat's Crew Strength (Ranking)

1. Luffy. He is obviously the strongest with really big difference.
2. Zoro. He is second in power, second in comand and second in bounty.
3. Sanji. He is weaker than Zoro and I think it is rather obvious. He may have brawls with Zoro, but he can't be compared in power. It can be shown through their opponents during the manga. Also Zoro has more variety in his fiting style. He can use low range, mid range and distant attacks, when Sanji is clealry contact fighter. Plus Sanji has great weakness. He can't fight girls. So they can easilly kill him.
4. Franky. He has great raw power even now, but also we know that he could have achieved something in Vegapunk's lab, so he should have had some powerful level-ups. That is why he won't loose this position even if Chopper will master his monster form.
5. Nico Robin. She doesn't have raw power, but her Devil Fruit is very useful and will allow her to pawn hell of the opponents. Though she won't do anything good against someone like Luffy or Chopper in his monster form.
6. Chopper. He is rather good fighter with plenty of potential of his Devil Fruit, but now he is not mature and he should train his DF. If he masters his monster form he will be practically at Fraky's level if Franky doesn't have some crazy Vegapunk's lasers.
7. Brook. He is deffinetly interesting person. He is rather good swordsman, but his real power is his music. Though his weakness is that he is very fragile.
8. Usopp. He is not that weak in reality. His problem is cowardness. If he overcomes it he will be really helpful, like SogeKing. I think when he puts on his mask he awackens his hidden potential. Also he needs some fisical training from Zoro.
9. Nami. She is deffinetly the weakest in the crew, though it is not her duty to fight. She navigates and sometimes helps in the fight, but mostly with weak opponents. Her only real opponent was Califa, but she wasn't expecting this from Nami. If she was serious from the begining she would have pawned Nami in an instant.

I'm very surprised that people are putting Nami near the bottom of their lists. She is the smartest (along with Usopp) in taking on or taking out threats.

Usopp is tough and can take far more damage than others. I would actually put him as the overall physically weakest person on the team.

Nami's navigation and Climatact potentially put her at or above Chopper's level (~5 or 6)

I'm doing something ridiculous and gonna push the girls a bit - IMO they're much stronger than people may think:

1. Luffy - no question
2. Zoro, can easily strike multiple enemies at once
3. Robin, can easily disarm or strike multiple enemies, and she has got some dirty moves.
4. Sanji, below Robin because he can't hit women.
5. Franky, a strong cyborg with too many weaknesses (back, ass and ...)
6. Nami, even with her Bo she was about as strong as Usopp in East Blue... But with her cleverness and her Clima Tact she in fact is more dangerous than Chopper, Brook and Usopp that may act a bit too reckless.
7. Usopp, he's clever as Nami but not as smart as her.
8. Brook, he can become "Solder Dock System 0.5".
9. Chopper: I don't see him control his "Monster Point", and actually I'm against this theory since this option would be way too blunt IMO and booo~oring. He may become "awaken" as well, but that will probably look different.

Going from the Sabaody incident I think the biggest gap is between Luffy and the others... The smallest gaps are between Nami, Chopper, Brook and Usopp - they are so minimal that I'd call them almost equal in strength.

I think we are speaking not about the intellect, but about their strength. And no way Nami can be understimated that much by the people in the forum

I'm totally agree with this. And I think that the gap between Luffy and the others will grow even more, because he has to protect them.

6. Brooke (Though little is known, his swordsman skill and ability can still be improved. As a skeleton his flexibility is beyond normal, I don't think robin can pull it off)

8. Nami (She took out a CP9. While her battle IQ seems lower than Ussop, her knowledge of climatac gives her power that would overcome this.)
9. Ussop (Very cunning in battle. But in 1on1 fight as a marksman he's at disadvantage.)

1. Monkey D. Luffy - no doubt about that, with his gears and the King's deposition in the near future and a possible new moves.
2. Roronoa Zoro - having a demon with him, the asura, he's gap to the others is beyond the normal gap.
3. Sanji - a bit trailed by zoro, with diable jambe he's also a super. Though he might be able to reach zoro's level if he could use both his feet for the technique.
4.Franky - having the inhuman strength and solid defense.
5. Nico Robin - her DF is powerful and can pawn tons of enemies and the other strawhats below her despite her low defense.
6. Tony Tony Chopper - with ramble he is strong enough to fight that cp9 guy if he didn't reached his limit. Monster point is also a SUPER! and may actually get him above robin, though it's a double blade and I don't like it that much as of now. If he could use the other forms and be awakened he would probably be around franky or higher.
7. Ussop - If he always have the determination he got when he fought against luffy he would probably be a lot stronger and can even climb his rank maybe until 4th.
8. Dead bones Brook - Since we haven't seen his true potential he will be here as of now or maybe even the last one. Judging through the fight's he's been I can deduce that he isn't that strong at all.
9. Nami - Though she might also be stronger than brook or ussop as she is now I can conclude that the wont be able to win against brook if she's in his perimeter and is in a disadvantage in long range and short range combat because ussop is more agile than her.

1. Luffy - No explanation needed.
2. Zoro - Is not far from the number three but second in command is often second in strength he also has a great advantage against the number three since he wield weapon.
3. Sanji - Easily #1 if it were battle strategies but he lacks variety and is a bad match-up against the sword, especially the third one.
4. Robin - She will literally break the back of every single person below her in my list and that is enough.
5. Brooke - His speed makes him remarkably dangerous but #6 has a tight defense but it's not enough against Brooke's second ability of music.
6. Franky - Crazy offense and solid defense makes him far stronger than the ones below. #7 could be a match but let's not forget Franky blasted his strongest form away...
7. Chopper - Obviously stronger than #8 and 9 due to their lack of offense as well as defense.
8. Nami - Isn't last thanks to her brain. She's formidable at thinking in tight situations only bested by Sanji and perhaps Robin. She will think of something to defeat the weakest.
9. Ussop - Weak, fragile, scared and lack of self-confidence makes him rather worthless but in tight situations he often loses all his attributes accept for the weak part. Though his strength lies in other areas such as being a prankster = unpredictable as well as being a tank = high stamina it's not enough against people who knows him.

Close Range

1. Luffy
2. Zoro
3. Sanji
4. Franky
5. Chopper
6. Brooke
7. Robin
8. Nami

IMO, Franky, Chopper and Brooke have more offensive power close range than Robin. Yes, Robins clutch is powerful, but I think all three of them (Brooke is questionable) can and have taken more powerful attacks than that and survived.

Mid-Range

1. Luffy
2. Zoro
3. Franky
4. Sanji
5. Robin
6. Ussop and Nami
7. Chopper
8. Brooke

I put Franky above Sanji because Sanji's really a close range fighter, and hasn't been shown to have many projectile attacks except that one he used to deflect Oz's hand from crushing Robin.

Far Range

1. Luffy
2. Zoro
3. Franky
4. Ussop and Nami
5. Sanji
6. Robin
7. Chopper
8. Brooke

I think I got the top 4 right, not sure about the order below that though.

I think that Zoro and Luffy are equals in the and the difference between their strenght lies in type of haki- I belive that when Luffy was fighting Lucci his haki was helping him for the first time. Before that fight Luffy had little problems in defeating Blueno who was stated to had around 5 times less douriki than Lucci(if i remember it correctly) and he had to go gear second. Haki comes out with emotions and will power so I assume that haki+gear second was reasons why Luffy was able to take out Rob. When Zoro fought Kaku he completly overpowered him- turned his strongest attack into mist with Asura and i think that attack is form of Zoros haki. In my opinion he crushed Kaku with that attack more significantly than Luffy defeating Lucci- Kaku werent as worn out as Lucci in last part of their fights.
Third place for Sanji. Without doubt. Next one half-cyborg Franki. Close after him because of pretty powerfuel DF is Robin. Next one is monster point Chopper.. After him Brook. After Brook I see Ussop and last one is Nami.

Yeah, I'm really seeing Usopp very near to the Top 3, though it would be a little bit in contrast to his character. But his dream to become a great pirate is more like a ~warrior dream or something like that (like pirate king or best swordsman). He doesn't want to find the all blue or make a map of all oceans, etc.
Oh and Robin is just everything but not a fighter. It's not that she couldn't do it but she doesn't want to.

Close in strength to Zoro, however his feats are not so incredible as Zoro's. Probably because Zoro has the post of swordman, while Sanji is the cook. Perhaps it's compensated with his great strategy tactics?

Robin
He did not take many fights while in the Strawhats crew. However, whenever she actually did something, she kicked ass. Humilhated Tashigi? Annihilated that Priests of Enel? Breaking Moria's neck? Stopping the Pacifista beam?

Franky
Franky is tough, however he is much weaker than the monster trio, as seen when he, along with Brook, surprised watched Zoro and Ryuuma fight.

Nami
Nami could keep up with strong opponents, like Miss Doublefinger or Kalifa.

Chopper
While that he can transform in a monster, he don't have control over it. Either way, his transformations lack the destructive power. His intelligence at least compensate.

Usopp
Good tricks... but not that powerfull. Lucky at least.

7)usopp (even though against brook he may lose in an all out fight, brooks disadvantages are easy to spot and usopp is much more of a useful fighter than him so hes 7)
8)brook, i think hes stronger than nami cus he can cut her in less than a second, she cant react lol)
9)nami (a decent fighter but still the weakest)

but who knows what will happen after time skip, im expecting sanji to become more on zoros level and luffy to grow just a bit, cus he doesnt need to get stronger, all he needs os to hit logias lol. zoro will also be either same as luffy or just under him so lol at that.

chopper may become stronger than franky if he perfects monster form however siince franky gonna upgrade at veggapunks lab i guess they could be equal again.

usopp gonna become a man, get muscles and be decent at hand to hand combat, have a new arsenal and be a deadly sniper

brook: hope he ditches sword for guitar and gets power of destruction

robin: hope she learns rokushiki (100 leg rankakyu 1000 arm shigan! XD) and get physically stronger

nami:get the weatherball intergrated into her staff, and become storm

What are brook's disadvantages? I don't think ussop would stand a chance against him under almost any circumstances. Also, robin has a good ability but any damage her arms take go back to her. In that sense, just attacking franky posses a much greater for robin than to franky himself, rip just explode or squash an arm.

Brook - I still think we under estimate his fighting ability
Chopper - let's face it, when he becomes a monster he's terrifying
Robin - more into the books than fighting
Nami - every arc she is getting more fights under her belt and showing her worth
Usopp - the weakest... might be stronger after the timeskip. He needs his heart into his beliefs.

however in all reality Nami is the strongest hands down. she is the real captain on that ship, getting her way almost all the time except when they are deciding their next adventure LOL

I put Franky after Robin because the cyborg is beastly. His char was a bit dumbed down (not necessarily in a bad way, but still) after he joined the SHs. But while he was at Water 7 and fought Luffy, Franky was pretty strong.
