Well you are comparing Natsu at various times and strength as though he remained the same.
When Natsu beat cobra, that was before tenrou (he got stronger still). After the 7 year timeskip, a stronger version of Natsu (that beat cobra) needed lightning flame mode to win over Max.
Natsu also needed Second origin upgrade or he would have gotten really embarrassed at the GMG. Basically, by the time sabertooth was introduced, FT had gotten a significant power boost as compared to when they fought oracion seis.

I do agree that oracion seis is indeed the strongest here (mostly thanks to Jellal and their competent fighters on a whole) but Sabertooth is superior to Lamia imo. Aside Jura, Sabertooth can dispatch the rest without much trouble. With the magic counter, Orga is about half as strong as jura. With him, Dragon force Sting/Rogue and Minerva, they can likely defeat Jura.

Don't forget Rufus now, he's just as strong as Orga, or maybe even more so.
Seeing Jura is in the council now, I don't think he should count in this.

Yes sorry about that I didn't account for a lot of the time skips. From what you said it does seem quite likely that Sabertooth is stronger than Lamia Scale. Seeing as without Jura they are 'sitting ducks'. But still overall Crime Sorciere does stay in the lead.

OS alone made up the entire 3rd branch of the Baram Alliance. Having people like Cobra, Midnight, and Hoteye, I don't think Sabertooth would be able to compete.

Sabertooth's strongest is Minerva. As much as Sting and Rogue should be formidable, they did lose to Natsu in a 2v1 while in Dragon Force. So that's a downpull on their credibility, but after the last chapter, they seem to be redeeming themselves.

Orga and Rufus are also pretty tough themselves, but they don't have hax magic on Cobra and Midnight's level.

Dobengal of Sabertooth is roughly as strong as Angel.


Between Crime Sorciere and Sabertooth, Lamia Scale doesn't stand a chance here.

Jura and Chelia might put up a good fight, but they are just too outnumbered. Lyon is average, so he'll be taken out before Jura and Chelia.

To me it seems like the only thing crime sorcerie has over sabertooth is gerard who is legitimately capable of going toe to toe with several springan 12. Other than that I can't imagine the rest of crime sorcerie being that much different from sabertooth mages. As far as we know dragon force is more than enough for either sting or rogue to handle cobra. Not to mention that both of them got significant powerups through the GMG arc. Sting got a more than significant nakama powerup from when jienma seemingly killed his cat. And the two of them managed to beat demon jienma who was said to be stronger than any other of the 9 demon gates by mard geer. And of course they have a year of training over that. Lamia scale could be considered here if we factor in jura. The guy does not seem to be as strong as gerard but add him, leon and shelia and that is a fairly powerful force. Jura alone could handle multiple sabertooth guys as far as we know.

Jellal is a factor. But I think Cobra, Midnight, and Hoteye are easily on par, if not, stronger than Sting and Rogue, even in DF.

Hoteye pre-timeskip was on par with Jura. Hoteye could compete against a TWS, and Cobra and Midnight are both stronger than Hoteye.

Sting and Rogue did well against Demon Jiemma, but they did poorly against Natsu.


If it were Jellal vs. Minerva, Jellal would win.

If it were Cobra vs. Sting, Cobra would win.

If it were Midnight vs. Rogue, Midnight would win.

If it were Hoteye vs. Orga, they would at minimum cancel out.


That would leave Jellal, Cobra, and Midnight vs. Rufus, and I don't think Rufus can handle all 3 of them. So Crime Sorciere would take the win here.


As for Lamia Scale, I don't think Lyon could hold a candle to anybody from Sabertooth. Chelia might, but she'd be defeated eventually.

Jura is the only real factor for Lamia Scale, but seeing that Hoteye was a match for him pre-timeskip, I don't think Jura could handle any of the top dogs here.

Jura would be able to eliminate several people from Sabertooth, but by sheer numbers, somebody from Sabertooth is bound to take Jura down, even if he/she is the last one standing.

Right now? Diablos. Crime Sorciere has Jellal and Sabertooth has Sting, both of whom have beaten Spriggans. But Diablos got a guy that can beat Gray, a guy that mind controlled Erza, and a guy that can tank multiple dragon king attacks from Natsu. They are all supposedly dragon slayers, and we haven't even seen their Guildmaster in action.

Lamia Scale is fodder post-Tartarus.

It's a bit much for him imo. That would mean Jellal could arguably solo Natsu, Erza, and Gray.

I agree with Axiomus on this one.
Diabolos has members that can match Fairy Tail, and Fairy Tail is a league above everybody else.

Crime Sorciere's strongest member is Jellal, who is >= Natsu(excluding his DF and flame of emotions, etc) = Gray. All of them are capable of stomping a spriggan 12 member. Sadly however, the oracion seis are currently featless, which makes it hard to really understand their level of strength.
(Also, isn't Crime Sorciere currently disbanded, meaning that they do not count as a guild anymore?)

Sabertooth is quite powerful now, but the only person who can really win against a Spriggan is Sting, and that's only if he actually kept his White Shadow DF.

Lamia Scale is fodder by current standards. Their strongest is Jura, who is around Elfman's level (Never thought I'd be saying that at any point in the series tbh)

So currently the ranking is:
1)Fairy Tail
2)Diabolos
3)Sabertooth
4)Lamia Scale
5,6,7,...)other fodder guilds

If Crime Sorciere still counts, it would be above Sabertooth most likely, albeit quite close.
