I just dislike it when people compare series that aren't even aimed at the same audiences.

Yeah, and people made the comparison with Claymore because it's "medievalish"...but pls

i never compared berserk and claymore...that's more along the lines of blood or hellsing...
more monster like,yeah medievalish...but not really religious at all....

as far as nanatsu i'm not sayin they are identical...but they are very similar in theme.
nothing against miura...it is a complement that authors try to write like him....

How is Claymore not religious? It seemed to have some parallel lines there with the Claymores themselves slaying monsters and shit. Ah well, maybe it isn't explicit as having a Pope and a Holy See, but whatever.

Very similar in theme? I don't think you mean theme, I think you mean setting. The theme comparison would probably be a loose one.
