Actually everything happened, its just a thing of possibilities, all the episodes in umineko is "what ifs" but it still happened on the chessboard, in short it does happen and all of them are alternate realities on rokkenjima( depending on the events that set what happens up) in which all of them holds a single truth, you'll understand when you read the VN.
Anime ruined it! But anyway, if you're looking for something really good and come from the same author, I recommend
Higurashi no Naku koro ni. The same kind of setting but I won't spoil

Well, I had hamsters around when I was on elementary school, so it would be at least 6 years ago as well. I had 4, they were all so cute and made my days brighter, but then they died of course. Old and sick, one of the females ended up eating its children then died. >___< Sometimes I just missed them too much. What happened to yours? Sorry if it brings back sad memories as well. =___=

Pretty much right.
Battler from the first game is the battler now and playing with beatrice. Yeah, you can say that he is "alive", just in another "dimension" a higher dimension where humans and members of ushiromiya are mere chess pieces.
Umineko is a game of magic/fantasy vs logic/reality , battler standing on the reality side and beatrice on the fantasy. Battler wins if he can prove that all the murders can be done by human means and logically but Beatrice wins if she can make him admit that witches exist and so does magic. The hard part of being a reader in umineko is we are put in battler shoes and we have to figure out how everything works without magic.
If we believe in magic and fantasy, there is no mystery.

Also, not everyone died. Eva survived in the 3rd game and apparently the same goes for the other games, so that means that on the day of the incident only eva survived. You'll understand indepth when you read the visual novel.

The anime is pretty good, better than Umineko's anime.
Give it a try, its as much fun as umineko but be mentally prepared.

This free time that I have is for me to go on mangahelpers and nothing else..
sure i can load it but I don't usually watch them on stream..I dl them in high quality so now
I don't even have the time for that.
tomorrow is a saturday(weekend) and I have to go back to school too.
Ugh..I'm even one episode behind ao no exorcist and 4 episodes behind hanasaku iroha and
all those new animes this season that I haven't watched

It used to be...on italian tv though thats where i watch my anime on tv xD I just watch those i retain interesting to me >< not much ging on though cuz i dont bother to even search xD i just go with the people who tell me watch that its cool but not that its horrible =3
