So, who do you think would win between Sanada and Kin-chan?

Scenario 1: Sanada does not have Pinnacle of Destruction.
Scenario 2: Sanada does have Pinnacle of Destruction.

Scenario 1: I think Kin-chan can squeak out a win. (7-6 Kin-chan)
Scenario 2: I think Sanada will squeak out a win. It really depends on how he PoD works but if it can help him take one game from Yuki then its got to be powerful. (7-5 Sanada)

I broke it up into two different scenarios since we really don't know anything about PoD.

Also, you can blame Aksys and my boring job for me posting and visiting this message board too much. Bah Aksys, lying to me about the Nov 9th release date for Agarest war now I have to wait a month for it to be shipped from England. Dang pound to dollar conversion sucks.

Is this a joke? lol

Scenario 1:
Sanada wins 6-0

Scenario 2:
Sanada wins 6-0

Kintarou isn't returning Rai if Tezuka couldn't.

You never know. He does hit a smash stronger than a Hadokyuu 108 and he's said to be the strongest member of Shiten (maybe not in physical strength but at least in over all). Plus, Sanada will have problems if all he does is spam Rai forever. I think Kin-chan can deal with everything Sanada has except maybe Rai.

Now, can Sanada return AOMS? I don't know? That's why I think its possible for Kin-chan to win.

Rai has only been returned by Yuki and Echizen. Same with AOMS. Granted, I think Rai is a bit more useful than AMOS since it has been spammed.

I think Sanada can win in both Scenarios, even though it would be really hard in the first one.
Maybe 7-6 in Scenario 1 and 6-3 in Scenario 2 (at least if PoD is as powerful as it seems).

Either way, I suppose we'll see this match in the manga at some point.

I guess if you force it you can make some sort of match. I don't think Kintarou is anywhere close to Sanada though. Konomi can do anything yes, but if Konomi just went by what he has shown thus far, Kintarou has absolutely no chance. It would be Kintarou/Yukimura all over again.

As for AOMS,
I think Sanada would have no problems returning it, being Sanada and Yukimura can both pretty much return anything. I mean the only shots Sanada didn't return was COOL drive in the Kantou tournament, and World of Ice before the Nationals, both of which were the first times we saw those techniques used. Knowing Konomi, there is no way any existing technique will work on Sanada. Only techniques we have never seen.

That goes for Yukimura too.

Scenario 1- Sanada wins with a comfortable 6-3 or 6-2

Echizen had to be strategic and modify his game plan to beat Sanada..Kintaro's wild style doesn't allow him to do this. Sanada's too much for Kin-chan

Scenario 2- A fucking bagel...nothing more than 6-0 is possible. Zenkai no kiwame (i think this would be pinnacle of complete destruction) made Yukimura shit himself, the Same yuki who made a fool of Echizen, and Kin-chan

I think Kin-chan is close to Sanada. Sure he got stomped by Yuki but so does everyone. So, I can't really say that he's weak. If he's not now, I can see him stronger than Sanada by the end of Shin.

I guess I need to know more about the Oni/Kintarou match. I'd hope the black jack knife is at least comparable to to a Rai and he just didn't lose 6-0. Again, doesn't mean he's weak just means Oni is a beast.

AOMS, I donno. I'd have to see it used against people who aren't invincible.

Just curious, why does wild tennis prevent him from adapting? Sure he probably can't play defensive but that doesn't mean he can't find a way to beat Rai or any of Sanada's moves. They are beat able. Yuki and Echizen prove that point. Now he's no Yuki or Echizen but I don't think Rai is unstoppable to someone of his caliber given his innate physical strength.

The only reason I see Kin-chan being able play evenly with Sanada is Konomi portrays him as Echizen's rival. If he is anywhere near Echizen with PoP (as in 6-2) he has a chance against Sanada.

However, for now I'll concede that Sanada is stronger than Kin-chan since I really have no data stating otherwise.

We don´t know too much about Kintarou. So I think it's not fair too compare them right now.

Well, you know I'm not a Sanada fan, so I think Kin will win in Scenario 1 and have no data for Scenario 2, but probably Sanada would win. Why?

VS SANADA'S RAI:
Well, Tooyam's Wild Tennis is absolutely amazing. Returning Echizen's balls 40 minutes (remember Ryoma has beaten Atobe and we suppose he was using TZone) and he even could win. Yuki owned Tooyama, but he owned Sanada too, remember? For me, Wild Tennis is like TZone (he simply return everything, but that's because of his natural strenght), but with the advantage that Tooyama is 100 times more powerfull (raw power) than Tezuka. Remember, Tezuka could touch the ball with Rai, the problem was that he wasn´t strong enough and the racket flies every times he hit the ball. With Tooyama's strength no problem.

VS SANADA'S IN He has no PoK,s o no problem
VS FU-RIN-KA-ZAN If Ryoma's Kantou Final returned it, Tooyama would do too.

Wild tennis is nothing like the Tezuka zone.

Dane Cook has a better chance at actually being funny for once than Kintarou has of winning this match.

Don't say that. It's manga, so (nearly) anything goes. If konomi wants Kintarou to have a close match with Sanada or even beat him, he certainly will.
You can't really predict an outcome as all the matches have plot hax, more or less (I still can't believe Echizen actually won Kantou finals vs Sanada).

Besides, neither PoD nor AOMS have been shown for more than one point.
I don't think, we can predict anything if the two of them were to play.

If it were me though, I think Sanada would win, maybe he wouldn't stomp Kintarou but he should be more powerful.

I've never heard of Dane Cook so...... Yeah, guess Sanada is probably the 3rd player in PoT for middle schoolers. I just didn't really think Kin-chan was that far from the top.

You really only need to look at Rai.

Tezuka could not return it. The entire match, Tezuka was unable to return Rai. Tezuka is definitely on another level than Kintarou, and some may argue (me being one of them) that Tezuka could beat Yukimura, given their play-styles. Yukimura's style is too simple to go against Tezuka. Tezuka has the infamous Tezuka zone which only Sanada was able to break. Not only that, Tezuka has PoHW combined with the zone. Statistically speaking, Yukimura has no chance.

That said, I think it has been clear that Yukimura is the only person besides Echizen (the main character) who is capable of doing anything against Sanada. I mean I think it is obvious that Konomi wants Yukimura and Sanada to be the biggest baddies in the series. They both have the skill, but I think Sanada's personality is more suited for the job. Yukimura is too nice to be the boss man.

Doubt it...

His playstyle was too "simple" for Echizen and look how that turned out, Tezuka has no way of counteracting the YIPS...not that we've seen anyway. I'm pretty sure Yuki could break the Tezuka zone..he analyzed and simplified all techniques and returned Big Bang serve without the Aid of Hyakuren.

Also...Tezuka had the prototype Hyakuren when they were kids and Sanda says they were playing evenly. If yuki easily returned Rai..which shit raped Tezuka you can only imagine what would happen to some one as...soft as Tezuka..who's forte isn't aggressive baselining/net attacking or aggressive all court like Sanada.

And we all know the power ladder>>>Logic in PoT

They both have the skill, but I think Sanada's personality is more suited for the job. Yukimura is too nice to be the boss man.
Like Kondo and Hijikata in Peacemaker

Both Tezuka and Yuki have very passive styles, so I think the match would go on for a while until either Tezuka got the yips, or he yelled "MY AAAAAARM" again.

So yeah, Yuki would win.

Yuki isn't really passive in my opinion..to show how broken he is Konomi always has him return lol.

We all know counter punchers in real tennis draw errors...but no one in PoT makes errors unless it's crucial lmao..

Thing is Yuki can blast winners at will..Atobe beat Ryoma's nanjiro zone by observing the subtle movements in his wrists and grip..I'm sure Jesus boy can do the same in some way.

Yuki's pretty powerful two...he could return Echizens doubled serve and return with ease.

Still..he's so broke that he's now been demoted to sexy obstacle character.

Well the way I look at it is that Kintarou is supposed to be Ryoma's direct Rival.

In fact, when planning the manga the original main character was supposed to be Kintarou and Ryoma was supposed to be his final boss.

If their one point match proved anything for me it was that Kintarou has the insane stamina and physical talent to catch up to any shot he wants to. He had a number of Ryoma's shots pass behind him and used just his pure wildness to catch up to them. That's kind of a Rai with no drawback ('cept the eventual stamina loss) from how I see it, granted it's not as fast as Rai.

His power is supposed to be greater than Gin's and he was able to hit on par with an all out Oni (We still have no confirmation on who won or if it was a draw).

Right now, we still have no idea what that black aura was and we don't really know if Yukimura would have been able to return it eventually...kinda like how COOL Drive took Sanada by surprise since it was the first time he saw it, but I'd bet he could return it now without much issue.

So, I'd say that Kintarou will at least have a good match with Sanada, no rape either way.

I was saying Wild Tennis is like TZone because thanks that, Kin is a true monster that could return everything, even Tezuka's killing dinosaur shot.
And as I posted, Wild Tennis could beat Rai. And without Rai,Kin looks better than Sanada.

Kintaroh also has more potential growth, and if the Door Master Chitose said he was so near of Pinnacle of Perfection it's for something. IMAO Kintaroh is really understimated because his strength is almost 100% physical, not beacuse of a great shot, Aura or skills.

Tezuka defeating Yukimira seems ridiculous for me.Yips it's unbeatable if you haven´t PoP (remember Super Ryoma, with Two Doors and all the skills of the world except maybe Hoshi Hanbi was losing 4-0).But I'm sure Yuki will be beaten sooner than later, but I don´t know who will be

Ughh...so much speculation and BS to go through...Fayte's gonna have a field day with this one...

No..they aren't remotely similar..stop letting the OVA cloud your mind..Kin-chan barely got to those shots..and none of the shots Ryoma was using was of the calibre of Rai..

And as I posted, Wild Tennis could beat Rai. And without Rai,Kin looks better than Sanada.
And you know this..HOW? The only people who beat Rai are Ryoma....and Yuki-buu.

Last i checked it's FuuRinKaInZanRai..thats 6 other attacks..he could probably nullifiy the spin with Rin just as he did to the phantom..and i know Tezuka is a better spin doctor that Kin chan.

You mean Chitose who says Kintaroh, and Tezuka were the closest yet they're no where close and Ryoma achieved it?

This I actually agree with..Sanada will be the one to exact revenge on Yuki.

Firstly, remember Sanada said in elementary school that Tezuka "may even be better than Yukimura" and I believe it.

Tezuka can return anything Yukimura has, due to his Tezuka zone. That changes everything. Along with the fact he has Hyakuren to double the spin every time. Ryoma doesn't know anything about the doors, which is why he was getting owned. Tezuka has perfected it, due to the fact he has the zone.

I don't know if the yips would work on Tezuka. If the concept is simply returning shots, Yukimura would get the yips too.
