Firstly, remember Sanada said in elementary school that Tezuka "may even be better than Yukimura" and I believe it.
Tezuka can return anything Yukimura has, due to his Tezuka zone. That changes everything. Along with the fact he has Hyakuren to double the spin every time. Ryoma doesn't know anything about the doors, which is why he was getting owned. Tezuka has perfected it, due to the fact he has the zone.
I don't know if the yips would work on Tezuka. If the concept is simply returning shots, Yukimura would get the yips too.
It's not simply returning shots it's returning EVERYTHING. It's psychological because you're bringing your best stuff and he's returning it effortlessly. To be honest i don't think we've seen what Yukimura is actually capable of yet, He was clearly toying with Koshimae and then had to contend with Super Saiyajin Ryoma.
If Atobe could break the Nanjiroh Zone i think Yuki has the insight to do it as well..since he also plays the role of anylzer quite often. In terms of Hyakuren..Yukimura plays Sanada a lot (implied) and had no trouble with Ka or Rai..which destroyed the Tezuka zone.
Ryoma used the doors more effectively than tezuka..it's just when the revelation hit..he got hit with the YIPS. If the yips affects some one like Sanada then it would work on tezuka as well imo.
You have to remember Tezuka can be out powered..it's happened on 3 occasions..and remember Chitose got through hyakuren with soft shots so the doubled power is nulled.
Maybe Yukimura got the ideas of getting yips from Tezuka. I think he might've won, otherwise he wouldve wanted to revenge against Tezuka too. Personally, it probably ended 6-6 and their guardians came and collected them and it had to end, I dont think Yukimura had Yips power back then or Sanada had fuurinkazan.
Thats probably exactly what happened..i can't wait for Tezuka and Yuki-buu's pair puri.
