The second half was only worth watching 'cause of Julio's saves :P
But the first half was so good that I'll even forget about it. Good game
Btw, Luca Toni held the ball in his hand so hard that I thought he'd scream 'TOOOUCHDOWN'
LOOOL! I saw it, Hiruma better have been watching. Toni could really help against mr Don!
Really? I don't think we should have any problem qualifying if we play as good as we played to get here. That if we don't choke, like we sometimes do.
Unfortunatelly I havent seen much of African football (I usually watched the CAN), but last time I checked, Nigeria wasnt that strong. Then again, you've been on a winning spree and the team has good names in it, like Yobo, Uche, Obodo and the young hope Obinna. Still aiming for the WC win is something far from likely.
yep scolari is gone, im stoked, he was a fish out of water at stamford bridge.
looking like hiddink is gonna replace him, wasn't too enthused at the idea of another international coach, but its only for a few months, and if anyone can pull a team together its hiddink; and as an australian im weak at the knees for the dutchman
good long-term replacement would be zola and clarke if we can pry them from westham. i'd also be happy with moyes. though we dont have a good track record of long term under the russian, do we?
I consider Hiddink one of the best coaches in the world and it'd be an excellent choice to give him the team for the rest of the season. I heard he is to orient the team just until the end of the season, but I think it'd be wise to keep him one more season if the team eventually gets back on its tracks (right now, I dont think Abra can ask him the premiership).
Sucks for Scolari, to Spain/Italy he goes.
I honestly doubt Scolari has the reputation to go to those leagues right now... I was thinking he'd probably go to a Portuguese big club, like Benfica (they want to get rid of their actual coach so bad...) or Sporting(their coach Paulo Bento ends contract this year, just when the presidential elections on the club are held[yes, we and Spain have presidential elections]). If he wishes something quick, he'd most likely return to a Brazilian team. After some good performances from Brazil, I dont think he'll succeed Dunga right away, but that's just imo.
@ Hayashia, u a Chelsea fan or hater?
Lol when it's Chelsea, I guess its down to that... whether you like them, or you hate them... and here I thought I was neutral about them :P
