As ridiculous as it looks upright, it looks even sillier on it's side.

What were they thinking.

They probably wanted it to stand out, I guess. But I would pay more to have it not have to look a that sitting under my TV. At least not with the color contrast. Give me an all black version or all white version. I don't want to have that distractingly fugly piece of modern art sitting there.

I'm not turned off by the white as much as the white + the shape. Something darker in color probably would have looked much better IMO

It wouldn't be so bad if you could just ignore it. But the black and white are going to make that hard. It's a videogame console I don't want to look at it. I want to look at the TV it's sitting next to.

I think it would look better if the white and black were inverted.

It looks fine imo. The controller looks super cool to me even if everyone hates it too.

That said, there will surely be all black options, which would be my choice as white gets disgusting.

I heard a lot of people complaining about the controller since that was revealed first and I didn't mind it that much though.

It does look the way people thought the ps5 would look in 2008, yeah, that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. It's aight, not crazy about it one way or the other.

I mean, if your going to get a gold car. Why would you choose to do that with a Honda Civic? That my point. If your going to go to that level of over the top with unwise spending, why be that frugal with it?

True, and at that point, spending that kind of money on useful components that are almost entirely modular wouldn't even be over the top or unwise.

But I guess that wouldn't really be hypebeast enough
