Unfortunately, apart from HD remakes there is really nothing else on PS3 that I was interested in, so Ill probably be getting FF X X-II (but their on vita...), Tales of Xillia 2 (potentially) and pray that Persona 5 is on Ps4 maybe...

It probably will be. Speaking of which, they're supposed to make a big announcement soon (I think next week? It's this Sunday)

This is why I will never buy the first iteration of a console again, the percentage of faulty ones seems too damn high.

Another Persona update: Teddy is now on the teaser website. Oh, the English VA for Nanako has posted Persona 4, Vol. 2 on her resume. I don't know if that is the big announcement this weekend or not. It could be, but I would be hoping for Persona 5 tbh

There is a lot of train stations. Maybe the next Velvet Room will be a train of some sort?

Microsoft announced that they sold 1 millions XBox One consoles on the first day though people online pointed out that they were sold in 13 countries unlike the PS4, which is being sold in 2 countries atm.

Not going the next gen route for p5 is odd, it will be dead on arrival in the us.

In any event hyped for it, hope its more in tone with p3.

What, dead? Hahaha, P3 and P4 were released for PS2 too despite the PS3 being available for a long time already.

Not everyone is willing to spend 400$+games+controllers for a new console in it's first year.

It makes sense that P4 will have a dancing game since Rise is an idol though it's kinda funny still.

Here is the story for Persona Q. A tower has showed up on Yasogami HS and a rumor has spread that whoever hears a bell will face death. Interestingly enough, a screenshot showed the P3 protagonist. The gameplay will have 5 characters participating in battles.

The sequel to Persona 4 Arena will be coming to the PS3 next year.

How soon do they detail the story and what not, I wasnt around for the p4 tease and p3 tease processes back in the day, should we expect a magazine scan or something soon?

The story is set half a year after Persona 4, when Rise Kujikawa returns to the world of show business. Rumors begin spreading of a mysterious video on a certain website, which watched at midnight transports viewers to the “other side,” never to awaken again. And members of Rise’s idol group “Kanamin Kitchen” start to disappear.

Persona 4 characters like Yu Narukami and Rise, as well as new junior idol character Kanami Mashita, are confirmed to appear as players “Battle Dance” against shadows in a mysterious world known as the “Mayonaka Stage.”

A rythm based dance/battle games sounds nice, similar to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.

Not to mention that the dancing game is being created by the same company that makes Hatsune Miku. But then it helped that Atlus' parent company was bought up by Sega, who developed that series. ^^

Persona director, Katsura Hashino, has an interview with Famitsu about the new games.

My brother got his PS4 last week but hasn't been playing it yet since he's still waiting to purchase games. If he's willing to wait, I should have advised him to hold off on purchasing the PS4 right away. Usually the first model will have glitches that will be fixed in subsequent models. Oop @ him.

P4D takes place after P4A sequel. Confirmed songs are Confirmed songs are “Pursuing My True Self,” “Heaven,” “Reach Out to the Truth,” “Time to Make History,” and “True Story”, but more will be revealed at a later time.

Persona 5's setting is at a senior high school. The chairs and chains represent the game's themes, which "contains a message like a cathartic yell to overcome trials and throw off your chains".
