Fallout 4 is still the big thing for me.

I thought Uncharted, The Last Guardian, Horizon Zero Dawn, and No Man Sky all looked great. Also pretty interested in Sony's announcement of being able to subscribe to TV channels individually. If they can make that work that would be amazing. And just that they would bring up Shenmue 3 is incredible. They won some hearts with that one. Then FF VII getting announced as a first on playstation thing is also huge.

Microsoft had a good conference too though. The backwards compatibility announcement for the XB1 is huge. Especially to people who own 360 games. And Sony doesn't really have an answer for that. PlayStation Now as it currently exists basically a huge rip off and doesn't work nearly well enough. They also have Gears and Halo and both looked good.

The only bad conference seems like it was EA's with it mobile gaming stuff.

Really hyped for Fallout and Shenmue. I welcome FF7 very much too, I don't mind seeing legendary scenes play out without the blocky faces. I appreciate a lot of the other games, especially the Sony stuff. Not that I'll play them myself. Also I swear that COD game is 5 years old. I think I've seen that trailer before.

I wish they would accept something besides credit cards... now I have to get one, but it has to happen! 300$ it will be. Would have even sacrificed the FFVII remake and TLG for a real continuation of the story.

Got all three spoiled by some inside info though, but still didn't want to create a false hope for Shenmue 3. A decade long dream has come true.

Shenmue 3 is already funded to the tune of 2.3 million. The dream has become a reality for a lot of fans.

Which I guess is kind of the theme of the Sony conference. Last Guardian, Shenmue 3, and a full Final Fantasy IIV remake all things I never thought would actually happen.

I kinda dont get why Sony presented the kickstarter instead of just paying that cash... I mean 2M for Sony for a game like Shenmue sounds like nothing lol.

Because Sony doesn't own it. So they basically would have been giving money away. Plus, it's not going to cost 2 million. It's going probably cost like 10 times that and Sony can't just throw that kind of money around (Shenmue 2 famously cost 75 million dollars to make). The point of the kickstarter is to prove that there is interest out there.

Now that it has. Funding it the rest of way will be easy. Investors will be lining up at their door.

What Sony did was essentially make 100% certain it would be funded by letting them stand up on the biggest show of E3 and show that people want this game. Thanks to that there was no doubt from the moment it was announced that it was going to get funded.

It's pretty much like Bloodstained, Kickstarter is used primarily to gauge public's interest.

Square has got some good games coming out. Even for me who really isn't into a lot of their big projects that I was aware of coming into this.

Nothing against them but I don't really care about Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy XV, Tomb Raider, or Dues Ex. None of those game excite me at all. But Star Ocean and Just Cause 3 do. And the new Hitman game intrigues me. So they really have something for everybody.

I actually saw the gameplay fo Star Fox and wasn't really... surprised. It was nice but nothing out of this world, and the Arwing didn't look pretty at all ^^'

But in Platinum I trust, surprised they are developing it (even though I had heard they were working in something for the Wii U).
