Well, it all started back in the day when EA shut down Origin, which was one of my favourite studios. Speculation on the part of the fans has it that in one of their last games before EA closed them up, the antagonists were named Elizabeth and Abraham, and certain structures created by the antagonists that you had to get rid of were shaped like a cube, sphere, and pyramid (which was EA's logo at the time) for very good reason.Really?! All EA games?
I find that surprising. On the one hand I admire your resolve on the other you must have missed a lot of great games. In terms of games publishers EA is the worst of the lot but the studios they eventually ruin have put out some amazing games in the meantime.
And to rub salt in the wound, afterwards EA reappropriates the Origin name for their online store, since they owned that trademark now.
Yeah, colour me unimpressed. As much as I enjoy a good game as the next guy, I tend to buy or not buy things on principle to a large degree. Blizzard and Ubisoft have been similarly passed on in recent times, despite past goodwill they earned, though they haven't raised my ire as much as EA, so aren't completely blacklisted yet.
Then again, I usually only pick up a small handful of games (maybe 2-4) per year.

I heard plenty of newcomers like it a lot, and even though being clunky is pretty much a tradition in MH franchise, I think the whole experience is generally positive for most players. Oh and I know the ancient system of matchmaking is terrible, of course.
