Why so? Fighting games are quite broad while DBZ games are specifically about DBZ. But then again, I don't know how frequently DBZ games are discussed.

For the same reason why Street Fighter, Tekken, Guilty Gear, etc. don't have their own threads.

They may all have different mechanics, characters, and settings, but they all share the similar rules most beatemups do (two players try and kill/beat-up the other player's character/team, before the time runs out) - thus can all fit nicely into one box [thread].[/thread]

Though that reminds me, I wanna pick up SF again. Played Street Fighter something for PS3, and it was a bit hard to get used to the controls so I gave up. Good memories with Street Fighter though, at least 3. Wish we got more Rival Schools though.

I am not sure which you were playing, but Street Fighter has some of the simplest controls around (so simple that they have been adopted by numerous other fighting systems). It's all quarter and half circles, or hold away-towards.

Man, I've been playing Metal Gear Survive. And at like 10 hours in there is one thing I'm sure of. A lot of game reviewers are packing a lot of bias right now. They must REALLY hate Konami.

It's not bad. It's not great. But it's definitely not bad. At worst it's a 7 out of 10.

What they've made is basically a Silent Hill game. With State of Decay style gameplay. Build on the engine and assets of the Phantom Pain. It is a pretty good single player survival horror game. The story is not amazing. Not so far at least. But I'm liking it. And as much as I've heard about microtransations I have yet to see any. I don't doubt that they are there somewhere but they definitely aren't in your face about it.

And so many people are complaining about running out of water and food. That tells me 2 things.

1) That they haven't made it past 6 hours where those stop being an issue.
2) They haven't played many survival games but that's always how it is early on. Ark: Survival for example is much worse.

Yeah it's looking pretty promising, especially with Hairbrained Schemes behind it. Their last game, Necropolis kind of had a mixed reception but the BattleTech license seems like something a bit more close to home, with them being behind the Shadowrun series.

Yeah I already have it ( ) Hong Kong extended edition ( because it was the biggest one in size ) I will play it after finishing Ash of Gods unfortunately in last days I didn't have much time to play but today I have free day so maybe I will play 5 hours or so

Banner Saga 3 went up for preorder last week *cough* @Vici *cough*

I knew there was still a game left in the series, but didn't expect it to be out in a few months. Looks like I'll have to get into the second one soon.

I keep on restarting it, but then quickly stop.

It's fun to build stuff, and some of the mods are pretty enjoyable, but I have so many things which I'd prefer to be playing.

I think if you have a group of let's say 4 people that's when the enjoyment of it really comes out. Playing that game solo is a death sentence.

I still have a server available for it.

SF looks great but sadly it wasn't released on the xb1. Probably gonna get a ps4 at some point for that and Mortal Kombat 11... but before that, a Nintendo switch for the new smash game.

Anyone remember Street Fighter x Tekken? They need to make a sequel for that. The time limit in rounds was a big issue but it was a great game for the most part.

Welp. Picked up the SF 30th collection.

Good for the nostalgia. SFA2 still my favourite.
Also nice that they have a jukebox in there, though the sound cuts off when the window loses focus. Wondering if there's an option for that.

All that said, I still suck at the game, probably even more so than back in the day.

I was curious about the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, but for $40? Granted it has online matchmaking, but really? Mega Man 11 is a brand new game and that's only $30.

Looks like Bethesda has a new surprise Fallout game coming. Fallout 76

It looks to me like a standalone expansion to Fallout 4. Which would be awesome! Can never rule out that it would be something terrible like a battle royal or a coop mod or something but if this is either a story expansion or a new Fallout 4.5 game. I'm going to be all in on that.

My dream scenario I think would be that it's just a new, probably smaller, Fallout in a new location using mostly Fallout 4 assets and engine. With a new protagonist and a new completely separate story. I loved Fallout 4's gameplay. And liked the story more than most. But it's kind of undeniable that they could do better than they did. The whole "I MUST FIND SHAWN!" thing didn't work for me especially after the first playthrough.

I'm okay with the price, and I'm not even planning on doing any online play. Just havin SF1, every variant of SF2, SFA1/2/3, and all the SF3 variants as well is worth it for me. There's extra stuff included like histories and other goodies (like the soundtrack), but that's just bonus for me.

More information has been surfacing about Fallout 76.

Turns out it's probably going to be a Survival RPG with some level of online functionality. Which makes a kind of sense with all the settlement mechanics in Fallout 4. Not sure what to think about the online part though. I don't dislike the idea of a Fallout 4 survival base building game. Hopefully it's not too multiplayer-centric.
