The thing is that probably in most cases the plot twist coincides with the WTF moment...because in every manga, a good plot twist is done with the help of a WTF moment...but it doesn't work the other way around, and as you said WTF can be funny moments, sad moments, not necessarily something that would influence the plot much.
In this case Askeladd's actions can, and will be added to both categories(unless you change your nominations), because into fits in both categories...
Priscilla in Claymore. She's more "Aizen" then Aizen is in Bleach, she's so wickedly cruelly evil, and she so is "Kefka's* twin sister"! "Pissy Prissy Priscilla the Psychotic Princess of Power". Priscilla the "Dark Fairy". But, she's no physically weak D&D fairy class. Oh, and she's hawt
*Kefka is the villain in (Final Fantasy 3 U.S. = Final Fantasy 6 Jap) game. He was (and maybe still is) the top ~1-3 villain for a long time in many gaming polls. So, a.k.a. crazy, psycho, insane, madness, and etc.
Best Manga Overall:
Claymore by Norihiro Yagi, FTW! If you like Berserk, you'll love Claymore. It's a masterpiece of literature. It's extremely deep, sophisticated, complex, and complicated. Everytime you read it, you learn something new. It's very fast paced. If you want a "kiddie", cliche, and "happily ever after" manga, then Claymore is not for you!
Best Kiss in a Manga:
Clare kissing Raki in Claymore. Clare slowly holds his head in her hands, leans forward just as slowly, lips parted and eyes dreamily barely open, Raki's eyes dilate, he gulps, his heart pounds, Clare's luscious lips plant against his lips, and stay lingeringly locked and pressed together, she pulls away but keeps looking at him with intense but so soft and loving big beautiful silver eyes of hers. It was love then and forever! But, Yagi is so cruel ....
Best Plot Twist in a Manga:
Priscilla decapitating Teresa and then Awakening in Claymore. This sets up the entire manga, and completely hooks you to it. As it's such a shock to you if you haven't been already spoiled, so totally unexpected! And oh do you HATE Priscilla for this! And how you so want Clare to get her vengence on Priscilla! "Priscilla must die!"
Best Male Supporting Character in a Manga:
Moderator Notice: My final nomination is Norman Burg from Big O~ HegemonKhan
Haji from Blood+ manga. Saya's faithful "servant/slave and lover" uber powerful chevalier. He's always there for her, in his stoic obeident usual silence. Her guardian angel always watching over her. At first he didn't like her as he was her slave and she was selfish and rude. But, that quickly changed, and he has loved her ever since, always being there for her, when she needs him the most. As a protector or just a chest to cry into and arms to hug her as she sobs her tears away.
Roy Revant from Solty Rei. ...
(they both are considered as Lead characters, so that's why they're scratched out)
Best Female Lead in a Manga:
Clare/Claire in Claymore. Clare is extremely complicated and complex, yet so simple too at the same time. Clare has got quite a life story that'll cause you to fall in love with her, as you follow her on her "journey" and slowly learn about her and then more and more about her! Oh, you so will fall so deeply in love with her! *Grins*
Best Female Supporting Character in a Manga:
*Dorothy Catalonia from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing*
Dorothy R. Wayneright in Big O. Roger Smith is first introduced to her as part of his job as a contractor. But, this android, will constantly come to his rescue and help him. They'll also fall in love with each other, and have really great and witty dialogue between them. Dorothy R. Wayneright: "You're such a louse, Roger Smith." (Dorothy R. Wayneright from Big O, is considered a Lead character, so that's why she's scratched out)
Best Male Lead in a Manga:
Alucard in Hellsing. If you know Hellsing, Alucard needs no explanation as to why he's the Best Male Lead
Best Couple in a Manga:
Kraft Lawrence <3 Holo the Wise Wolf in Spice and Wolf. Holo is such a dominant alpha female smirking and extremely witty tease towards Kraft, but he's also a tease back in his own way. Their interactions and dialogue between each other is so witty and awesome! And Holo gets so jealous and competitive towards other females!
Best Full Cast in a Manga:
Claymore. There's so many significant characters who get a huge role/part in Claymore and you get to know them all so well and deeply! The character development and relationship intimacy with them in Claymore will simply leave you breathless! You won't believe how well you get to know these characters of Claymore!
Best Fight in a Manga:
Clare vs Rigardo (the entire fight between them) in Claymore. Claymore readers/fans will fully understand this. It's truly an epic fight! I don't want to spoil it for those who don't know yet, hehe. Let's just say you see Clare's nightmarish "dark side". And to quote Rigardo himself right before he's killed by Clare: "Superb!"
Best Artwork in a Manga:
Claymore. Yagi is both the author and artist of Claymore! The artwork is different, as it is uniquely his, but oh is it breathtaking! The scenery is gorgeous and the battles are fabulously drawn! But most of all, the characters themselves. HK covers his heart with his hands: Galatea, Flora, Teresa, Alicia+Beth twins, Priscilla, Luciela, Irene, Ophelia, Clare, Clarice, Audrey, Yuma, Anastasia, and etc, and gasps huskily: B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L-!
Best Costume Design:
Claymore. The clothing in Claymore is awesome! From the standard Claymore uniforms to Irene's unique outfit to Alicia+Beth's unique black uniforms to the Ghosts' outfits to the Black Coats outfits to Priscilla's unique clothing to the jaw-droppingly gorgeous ruffled dress of Luciela, but most of all, dun dun dun dun dun ...
having the "Top Supermodel of the Goddesses" Galatea fighting in that nun outfit of hers! WOLF WHISTLES!
Thank you for the incredible nominations, guys! Keep them coming! I’ve updated the list of nominees. If I made a mistake or something is missing please let me know.

I removed both Lucy Heartfilia (Fairy Tail) and Kaguran Yato (Gintama) from the best female supporting character category because both of these girls are actually the female protagonists of their respective series. To the members who nominated these girls, you can nominate them for the best female lead category or you can nominate other girls for the best female supporting character category.
Mmm…I haven’t read Naruto, so I don’t know but now I’m curious. In order to nominate a kiss for the best kiss category, a kiss (touching of the lips) has to actually take place. So did a kiss involving Naruto and Sasuke really happen in the manga?
Best Couple Naruto&Hinata from Naruto
PS. I am not sure whether a "pairing" counts as a "couple"; if it doesn't, then I recommend Minato&Kushina from the same manga.
Mmm…I haven’t read Naruto, so I don’t know but now I’m curious. In order to nominate a kiss for the best kiss category, a kiss (touching of the lips) has to actually take place. So did a kiss involving Naruto and Sasuke really happen in the manga?
Akiyama would make an incredible nominee for the MH Manga awards , but since he is one the protagonists of Liar Game you can’t nominate him for the best male supporting character category. Sorry.
Now regarding L, this is a bit tricky. Yes, L can be considered one of the main characters in the series, but Light is the protagonist of Death Note. So because as I said this is a bit tricky, I’m going to leave L in the best male supporting character category based on the following description of what a supporting character is:
from wiki said:
A supporting character is a character of a book, play, video game, movie, television or radio show other form of storytelling usually used to give added dimension to a main character, by adding a relationship with this character. Sometimes supporting characters may develop a complexity of their own, but this is usually in relation to the main character, rather than entirely independently.
Haji is actually one of the protagonists in Blood plus, so he can’t be in the best male supporting character category. Sorry But you can nominate him for the best male lead category or you can nominate another character for the best male supporting character category.
Moderator Notice: my final nomination is Norman Burg from Big O~ HegemonKhan
Best Female Supporting Character in a Manga:
Dorothy R. Wayneright in Big O. Roger Smith is first introduced to her as part of his job as a contractor. But, this android, will constantly come to his rescue and help him. They'll also fall in love with each other, and have really great and witty dialogue between them. Dorothy R. Wayneright: "You're such a louse, Roger Smith."
Maybe I’m mistaken but I think Dorothy is the female protagonist in the Big O. And are you nominating her based on the anime or based on the manga? Because I think the anime and the manga don’t follow the same storyline.
from wiki said:
The Big O was conceived as a media franchise. To this effect, Sunrise requested a manga be produced along with the animated series. The Big O manga started serialization in Kodansha's Magazine Z on July 1999, three months before the anime premiere. Authored by Hitoshi Ariga, the manga uses Keiichi Sato's concept designs in an all-new story. The series ended on October 2001.
In anticipation to the broadcast of the second season, a new manga series was published. Lost Memory (ロストメモリー Rosuto Memorī?), authored by Hitoshi Ariga. Lost Memory takes place between volumes five and six of the original manga. The issues were serialized in Magazine Z from November 2002 to September 2003 and were collected in two volumes.
(It's tricky for me to figure out if they're considered supporting characters or if they're considered main/lead characters, so let me know if I get them wrong!)
-----------------------
I change my nomination of Best Male Supporting Character:
Moderator Notice: My final nomination is Norman Burg from Big O~ HegemonKhan
(leave this category blank for me for now. change it to "no" nomination)
from Hagi in Blood+
to Roy Revant in Solty Rei
(or is Roy Revant a main/lead character too?, if Roy REvant is main/lead character too, then just leave this category blank for me). (Roy Revant is also considered a Lead character too)
------------------------
I change my nomination of Best Female Supporting Character:
from Dorothy R. Wayneright
to Dorothy Catalonia from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing
to Relena Peacecraft from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing(unless she'd considered a main/lead character too) (Relena is indeed considered a Lead character too)
Roy is the main protagonist of the series, so I will leave this category blank for you.
Moderator Notice: my final nomination is Norman Burg from Big O~ HegemonKhan
I change my nomination of Best Female Supporting Character:
from Dorothy R. Wayneright
to Relena Peacecraft (unless she'd considered a main/lead character too) or to Dorothy Catalonia (she's got to be a supporting character) , both who are in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing
Relena is the female lead of the series. But I can add Dorothy to the list since:
Dorothy T. Catalonia is a character from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. She becomes an important character in the manga New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Battlefield of Pacifists and is the ESUN President during Frozen Teardrop.
That is the manga you based your nomination of her on, right?
Moderator Notice: yes, but if she's not considered a supporting female character in the manga, then you can leave this category blank for my final nomination~ HegemonKhan
just pointing out that you wrote down Seras Victoria twice in Best Female Lead
Thank you for pointing that out for me, HegemonKhan! ^_^ I’ve fixed the mistake and I’ve added your nomination to the list of nominees.

I would like to nominate Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece. He's funny, epicly hilarious and such an airhead. But when push comes to shove, you don't ever want to mess with him. He has a strong sense of justice, sticks to his beliefs no matter what and values his nakama above all else.
Best Male Supporting Character
I would like to nominate Colonel Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist. He has ambitions and strives towards them, not afraid of the consequences in going against the state. He will never say die - take his battle against Lust as an example. He may seem like a shallow, cocky narcissist on the outside, but he is truly a devoted, smart, talented and loyal person who will do all in his power to protect those important to him, and his ideals.
Best Female Lead
I second Claire from Claymore
Best Female Supporting Character

Best Shoujo Manga
I would like to nominate X/1999 by CLAMP. It is a great blend of romance, action, supernatural and drama. It also has a great cast of characters whom you will come to really love as the manga progresses.

Best Hairstyling
I would like to nominate Shiki. There are some really crazy, impossible and unique hairstyles in this manga. Some are really odd, but all are entertaining and different.

Best Fight
I would like to nominate the final battle on The Promised Day in Fullmetal Alchemist. It was a battle of epic proportions and was so rich in emotion. It wasn't a mindless battle with characters shooting attacks at each other in turn - it actually made the reader think, feel for the characters... It made me cry a few times. It was an epic finale.
Best Kiss
I second Naruto and Sasuke kissing in Naruto
Best Color Page
I second One Piece / Chapter 598

Just a gentle reminder, please add spoiler tags when you nominate/vote for a plot twist. Since its a plot twist, it's meant to shock the reader! Since some people may not have read that manga yet, if they read the contents of the plot twist here, they won't be shocked anymore, and takes the fun out of it all D: So yes, remember those spoiler tags~!
Best Chapter: My vote goes to Naruto Chapter 504: Thank you
One of the most emotional and sad chapters I've read so far, Kishimoto has done an amazing job with portraying the parent-child love.
And that's not the only great double-spead...especially in that arc and IIRC even that chapter...I guess the battle of the worlds doesn't deserve anything but high quality double spreads
I'd just like to point out that with my vote for Tegami Bachi for Best Costume Design in this post should put it at 2 votes (first one by Roflkopt3r here). It hasn't been updated, so I thought I'd mention it.
And I'd like to change my vote for Best Shounen Manga. First voted for One Piece, would like it changed to Death Note. Thanks!
Best Manga Overall: +1 vote for Death Note.
Best Fight: +1 vote for Thorfinn vs. Thorkell in Vinland Saga.
hum i would nominate Hajime no ippo and the breaker/the breaker new wave in the Best shounen mangas, even tought the breaker is a manwha. Hajime no ippo is a mangas on going since 20years and the plot is still interesting, its the best sport mangas for me: humor, great art, fight, school life, romance u have everything there.
the breaker is the most popular manwha atm,the plot is really nice and the art aewsome. Also i think we should have a categorie best manwha
Also i vote for Hajime no ippo in best shounen
I'd just like to point out that with my vote for Tegami Bachi for Best Costume Design in this post should put it at 2 votes (first one by Roflkopt3r here). It hasn't been updated, so I thought I'd mention it.
And I'd like to change my vote for Best Shounen Manga. First voted for One Piece, would like it changed to Death Note. Thanks!
Best Manga Overall: +1 vote for Death Note.
Best Fight: +1 vote for Thorfinn vs. Thorkell in Vinland Saga.
Well I edited it earlier so it should be fine now...the costume design that is...
Thanks for the nominations, the updates will come later, and will be added by destiny.
Moderator Notice: His final nomination is the one from Old Boy~ HegemonKhan
Itachi turning out to be good. I'll go in depth for this later once i am on a pc...but for now all i'll say is that judging the unexpectedness, yet the finest seamless fitting of it with loads and loads of previously known details, the impact it had on the plot both before and after the revelation, the impact on the characterization and character interaction of the main characters (which is the core crisis of this manga), the way the whole thing changed complexion only by the establishment of a different perspective without changing the actual event(that is itachi being the one to mass murder uchiha), the emotional impact it had on readers and the political/philosophical debate it generated among them (so realistic that it remains an almost unsolvable debate)...that without any doubt it is The Best. A twist that is not only surprising, but with exceptional depth (the only other one that comes to my mind is the Lelouch twist...but its anime).

hum i would nominate Hajime no ippo and the breaker/the breaker new wave in the Best shounen mangas, even tought the breaker is a manwha.

You can only have one nomination, unfortunately! So you'll need to choose between Hajime no Ippo and The Breaker and The Breaker New Wave I'm assuming these 2 "The Breaker"s are distinct series).
Your last line says you vote for Hajime no Ippo. So this would mean your nominations for The Breaker would not be considered... Is this alright with you?

, but since he is one the protagonists of Liar Game you can’t nominate him for the best male supporting character category. Sorry.
you definitely should give it a try!
