Just watched Behind Enemy Lines. It was really odd seeing Owen Wilson playing a serious role. Then again most of the movie he was running while behind enemy lines so he couldn't say too much . Overall though it was a good movie that I did enjoy.

Too bad, I read your post after I saw the movie. Darn it, it was so so horrible. I really don't get why the heck someone would put so much money for this movie. The movie has nothing to offer. The only thing worth in the movie is the black Pegasus, so cute. I want to have a horse like that .

I watched Moon the other night. I really liked it. It was weird, but good. If you like movies that feel claustrophobic and rather uncomfortable, you should be entertained.

Also watched Daybreakers. Well, I have watched most of it, fell asleep at the end. Not on purpose, but it was bedtime...gotta finish it still. Anyways, well, it aint the greatest vampire movie ever, but I liked it more than Twilight FOR SURE. Not as good as Blade, but maybe better than one of the sequels?

Was present during a viewing of Brooklyn's Finest, but couldn't get into it and spent most of the time on the internets.

So has anyone actually watched The Last Airbender??

I'm sorry for the time you lost . When I think about all the money wasted here, I wonder who greenlits these productions because I really love Greek Mythology and I think if applied the right way, the studios would make a lot of money and we could see a really good movie. Exactly, I love Greek myths and myths as a whole. This movie was so disappointing on so many levels. I waited for this movie when it was announced. Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief was also disappointing but it felt better than this one.

I didn't like the character designs and the actors used to portray the gods, Ralph Fiennes and the other who played Zeus are really good actors but misused in this movie. When I imagine greek mythology movies, I think of Saint Seiya a lot, maybe they should adapt that but I'm scared they're gonna dragonball it(yes I'm using it as a verb ).

I haven't seen Percy Jackson, dunno if I will now.

What I disliked the most, (which, you know, I could let slide in the original because I saw it when I was a kid,) is that there are no actual "Titans" in the movie (that I noticed). Not to mention they dissed my guy Bubo for that fake ass made up love interest!!

I love greek mythology, but hate when they do a movie about it...I don't recall ever seeing something entertaining related to greek myth, except for Troy maybe, and the neverdying Xena and Hercules series, but still...it's more like the special effect are making the movies these days not the plot...

Special effects are good but don't you like to see the gods or the demgods showing some magical power. In Clash of the Titans, I can't hardly remember Sam/Perseus looking anything close to a demigod. Everything was so so ordinary. And where the heck were Titans ?

Beats me. I was watching this movie hoping there was gonna be badass power show in super special effects but nah, just pure cheese.

re:titans- It's a remake of an old movie, where in the word "titan" is just a reference to the significance of the events/ key characters. If we were to follow mythology to the T, then we'd be seeing a totally different movie (e.g. the gods would be the ones rebelling against the titans).

Well, the Titans were the old gods which were overthrown by the Olympians (who were their children).

So, a lot of the Titans were imprisoned and/or obsolete by the "time" of this movie since they existed before men did. lol

If they want to make "Clash of the Titans" and have it be authentically epic, then they need to tell the tale of Zeus battling Cronus for supremacy. But as the case is, the new movie is a watered down special effects showcase that wasn't even that awesome to look at. It's like so many games nowadays. "Awesome" graphics are expected to be an acceptable substitute for quality game play. Too bad really.

Can't wait to see Inception! Read a bunch of reviews today so I'm not expecting to be disappointed. Hope it lives up to the quality standard set by Nolan's other movies. I'm really becoming a huge fan of DiCaprio nowadays as well. He's grown out of the teenie bopper fangirl poster child phenom image into a really great, classy actor. Much respect for him.

Also, I'm a little pissed that Norton's being replaced as the Hulk for the Avengers film. I was really looking forward to what he could do under Whedon's direction. While I'm displeased about Norton getting axed, I hope JGL replaces him. I get the feeling the latter could also pull it off. Plus, he needs a superhero role to further expand his resume and I can only see him being Spider-Man or Hulk.
