It's a space expedition first of it's kind, and you suppose they'd pick smart guys on board. But no. They are in a creepy unknown territory. What the map-guy decides to do? Go back in modst of the mission. Alone. And he gets lost. HE IS THE FUCKING MAP GUY! Not to talk about the biologist guy. The film had it's corny b-horror moments. Luckily those where not that distracting, but still, come on.

I don't deny the film had potential and it delivered to some extent. It was curious start for a new Alien mythos. But it definetly wasn't a great film. Not bad, but not particulary stand out either. To be fair to, the film had high aims and even higher expectations.

More and more I hear about orignal draft of Prometheus and the cut scenes, the more I wish they had done all that. Reminds me bit of Alien 3, which was rather sucky, but maan the original draft sounded amazing.

Prometheus or Aliens 3?

For Prometheus there hasn't been detailed info yet, but it seems there are lot of cut stuff which would have made more sense. One of which was the thing I referenced about the android not happening. Icluding what would have been the creepiest sex scene ever.

Kingsley as the Mandarin! After watching the second one, it can only be better, definitely not worse. Just don't let so much be obvious CGI as in The Amazing Spider-Man, that really turned be off, specially the school scene later on.

I've re-watched that iron man trailer so many times, I'm pumped =D!! While I have to admit iron man 2 wasn't that great, I still found it relatively enjoyable(probably my RDJ bias speaking lol). I loved Iron Man 1 though and this film looks to be even better!! 2013 seems so far away!!

Yes, it seems they're taking a more emotional darker route with this film. Perhaps will get to see Tony Stark actually get off his lazy behind and do something this time around :P compared to the second film.

Does anyone think Mark Ruffalo should get his own Hulk movie? I thought he was a bright spot in the Avengers.

That might be for the best, as every SW product without any kind of influence from old George, I destroy my own franchise, Lucas, might be a good one. Oh what horror I felt when he compromised the latest EU series(9 novels) for some clone wars episode.

Also good to see some of the best animation studios of the world under one hand again.

Yeah, this was sent to me by one of my friends. I wasn't surprised by Disney buying Pixar awhile back or even Marvel for the matter, but Lucasfilm Ltd. is just somewhat shocking and also, a new trilogy for Star Wars is already being set up as early as 2015. There's no way you can make a decent Star Wars film in less than 3 years. Plus, I don't know if, this was due to Lucas losing a lot of his own money on "Red Tails", which flopped terribly this year. Or the fact that, the Avatar sequel is scheduled for 2015 and Disney wants to crush 20th Century Fox.

2015, you have the Avenger's sequel and a new Star Wars film in the same year under this company?. They are trying to dominate and control their competition.

The SW new movie has been discussed and prepared before the Lucas and Disney officially made the deal (just as the deal certainly wasn't a last minute decision). So it's not like the preparation has begun just now.

Actually, if we look back in the time, the fact that the SW tour part of Disney World (with a 2.0 version now) and Euro Disney coud have been a hint towards an hypothetical close cooperation between them.

Watched Skyfall today. Wonderfully lit, beautifully pictured. Probably the best Bond movies during Craig's era. I like how M become the main focus of this movie, and Javier Bardem killed it as the main villain. He's really a top-notch actor. Craig's acting is awesome too, but I have to say that Bardem steals the spotlight.

Now let's just wait for Django Unchained, Lincoln and The Hobbit..
