Yup, it's such a shame that Eragon would made a crappy movie, considering the novel itself is pretty famous (though I haven't read it myself).

Just watched Beowulf yesterday. Pretty good, and it has Neil Gaiman as the scriptwriter...

From what I heard, the movie isn't really all that much, and that if you want a good story, it'd be better to read the novel (which, obviously, exceeds the movie XD).

I just forgot that I watched three movies two weeks ago.

Labyrinth: I can't say anything other than: Jareth = SMEX. Seriously. Considering it was a film made in the late 80s, it's tsill pretty much kick-ass. And just like Johnny Depp in PotC, David Bowie owned the movie.

The fact that I'm a huge fan of fantasy also helped. XD

Alice in Wonderland (1999 TV movie): Eeeeeeeeeeeeh. <3 So much love. Quite long. 2 hours and half, but still awesome. The cast is GREAT (star-fille,d I tell ya), especially Miranda Richardson as the Queen of Hearts.

Oh, and not forgetting Martin Short as the Mad Hatter. That was amusing

Meet The Robinsons: Truth be told, I'm not a big fan of 3D films, especially from Disney/Pixar (they're hilarious, but..I can't find the Disney Magic compared to the classics, really), but this.

GAAAAAAAAAAH. The characters, the villains, the storyline, THE MUSIC (Danny Elfman!) and revelations, LOL.

Not to mention, the fact that they used a quote from Walt Disney touched my heart so badly. And it isnt even animated by Pixar! It really is impressive! I wish 3D films were just as good as that. 'Course, I hear Ratatouille was just as good (been meaning to watch that too).

And movies I can't wait to see:

Enchanted (DAMN THE UAE FOR HAVING IT SO LATE. I'M PRACTICALLY GOING TO MISS THE SHOWING ><). Another Disney. With Alan Menken. Which Disney fan can NOT fall for that? Seriously. IT'S MENKEN. THE GOD OF DISNEY FREAKIN' MUSIC.

Golden Compass. Saw both trailers, and it looked great. Big fan of the series. Hope they don't mess it up. XD

Prince Caspian. Though I'm not really fond of the chice for Caspian himself >.> The boy is about 12. They choose a 24 year old. I can feel shivers all around me. Sorry. >.> He may be a good actor, but even his boyish looks could never pass him off as a 12 year old and that bothers me. But yeah. I'm a fan of the books (and the firstr movie, so...).

Iron Man. DUUUUUUUUUDE. Trailer made me drool. XD Great choice as the main character too. XD

i just saw Beowulf today....8/10. the dialogue was good (as expected), and the visuals were stunning (as expected), but it ended too soon. the story was told a little too fast, but above all it was a good move. Definately a must see for fans of the story.

the visuals are stunning....as in the flaws you see in the actor you see on their on screen models. lots of fanservice for angelina jolie fans too! my only complaint is that it's too short.....they crammed a lot of stuff in a short period of time that if you don't listen closely, you won't get the story.

The Golden Compass looks very good, but i feel like most book-adaptions, it might not cut it.
His Dark Materials is an amazing set of books, i just hope the film can live up to that.
(Unlike Harry Potter, the films i feel dont do it justice at all. Daniel Radcliffe is awful)

Cant wait till it comes out in cinema though, itll make for a good christmas movie.

1.) Wild Hogs - Meh, it was okay. Typical mediocre comedy. William H. Macy made me laugh tho XD

2.) Stick It - LOL. I loved this! It was about a rebel gymnast and I LOVE movies like that. As a former gymnast (can still do the splits, too :3) I love seeing movies with the sport.

3.)RATATOUILLE! OMFG <333333333333 One of like the cutest movies ever =D I need to watch like 8 more times this weekend >.>

I bought other movies, and I'll get around to watchign them later

Ratatouille sucked as far as im concerned, hated every second of it.

hope it dies a gruesome death.

Hot Fuzz is kind of good, much better than anticipated
Cashback was a bit weird but for some reason i liked it
Breaking and Entering sucks
Bender's Big Score, well, nice to see Futurama again but it wasnt as good as the tv show
Die Hard 4 nope, not even close to the first one
Disturbia, only watched it cause it had SoaD's "Lonley Day" in the soundtrack, the movie blew though, not even that kickass tune could save it.

Does anyone know if the Dewey Cox Story is going to be good or not? I saw a commercial, and they seem to make fun of the Beatles, so I was thinking about checking it out.

I think it's actually more of a parody of Walk the Line, and music biopics in general, with a lot of 'cameos' from the Beatles and other music legends....the official poster is making fun of Jim Morrison

I'll bet on it being entertaining, but not anything spectacular... sometimes these movies can take you by surprise, but usually they're best watched after a couple of beers, imho
