Well, I do acknowledge that it is a crack ship. And actually, most of my favorite ships are indeed crack ships. I dislike 90% of the "semi-canon" ships in this series.


If I were to be honest, one thing that separates me apart from the majority of FT shippers is the fact that "proof" doesn't matter. I understand that there is this "ship war" in the Fairy Tail fanbase over which ships have more proof, which are canon vs. non-canon, and which are more likely to happen.

I happen not to care about any of those.

Headcanons, fan assumptions, delusions, and manga proof are none of my concern. I pretty much just look at all the characters and decide which one looks good, according to their personalities and dynamic.

I'm already fully prepared for the main ships to get together. I'm also fully aware to see Acnologia get defeated in an absurd way.

But I still think GrayMi is the best couple in FT.


And while it's true that Gray and Mira don't have the greatest amount of interaction, each of their encounters and conversations are always of the highest quality.

Early in the series, there were many hints such as Mira always teasing Gray and fake crying only in front of him.

Gray has also shown to specifically call Mira, "Mira-chan", which is a suffix added to a person's name in Japan when a female is considered special or valuable to the male.

And Mashima has also made a "romantic relationship scandal" chapter cover featuring Gray and Mira along with a few sketches of those two together.

I wasn't scolding you, don't worry hahaha just wanted to make sure.

Yeah I can see your points and as I said there's absolutely nothing wrong as long as you (in general) don't deny canon.

That's the most important thing imho.

Dunno, I never found that ironic given Juvia seems to be quite possessive and easily jealous. If Gray showed any homosexual/bisexual tendencies, she'd probably see Natsu as her biggest or second biggest rival.

I don't know......In Rave x Fairy tail, Juvia thought she saw Musica and Gray kissing and got a nosebleed. Plus in that water park omake, which got turned into an OVA, Juvia thought Lyon and Gray going down the water slide together was "boy love." And she didn't seem to upset with it. As for Natsu, on a chapter cover she was shown pushing him away from Gray. And also in the anime she always gives Natsu these really ugly features in her imagination when she sees him fight Gray. So I always thought that she was ok with Gray x male if she liked the male (meaning Musica and Lyon).
You know how girls be loving the yaoi......

And as for Loke being a playboy. He is, but in chapter 2, he got yelled at by Makarov for fooling around with a WC's daughter... and in Tartaros we finally got to see the girl and he was still fooling around with her. That's like almost a year + 7 year timeskip + 3 months + 2 months. Practically commitment at that stage.

I think it was mentioned that every special chapter that isn't part of the main story is Lucy's dream in one the the extras somewhere. This was specifically referring the Day of Fateful encounter, but it may still apply to other specials.

That was a joke, it was said it takes place a little while ahead of the time period of the main story. Like the Day of Fateful Encounter for example, took place ahead of whatever the story time period was previously currently on.

Bacchus is like the worst ship when put to real world application. She took to drinking because of her daddy issues and uses alcohol as a crutch. Bacchus does nothing but enable her. I know her tolerance and alcoholism is a running gag, but as someone who's had a drinking problem, guys like Bacchus are just the worst to be around. Meanwhile Laxus is the only person in the series concerned with how much she drinks, and people like him are heaven-sent.

Miraxus were pretty much implied to be/become a relationship. Definitely something to be hyped over, since it's the first legit shipping bone Hiro has thrown to that particular couple who were essentially a crackship.

I actually knew Mira x Laxus would happen from the start even before the Tartaros scene when she got all wet and horny over his sacrifice. The assorted manga panels that Halphas posted are clear indicators. The incident when Mira confronts him about letting Natsu and Happy go on an S class mission made it apparent. The look of utter disgust at his cockiness along with his implication that he and her go way back was a very subtle yet telling scene. Add that to the fact that Mashima is a serial shipper and the only two options for Laxus were Mira and Cana. Mira was always the safer bet because she is like the nice mother of the guild which will go well with the future guildmaster. She is also probably strong enough to not get her pelvis shattered when Laxus goes apeshit on her in bed.

Not so into ships myself so never cared that much tbh but this was inevitable.

I bet that Laxus voice actor promoted this idea for Mashima cuz in his interview he said his wish is to get more screen time with Mira. In fact Milaxus was the most popular crack ship i've ever seen and i also saw it coming however i always get this feeling that Freed and Laxus have some secret relation, Remember this line "I want you to wash every part in my body" i was like

Also MiLaxus parallel Jerza and i think they would make a great family friends.

Nalu is my alpha and omega but i support all the major pairings as well. I actually envy some ships like "Gajevy" because they're the most developed and pretty much safe in every way you look at it despite that they have little fans compared to the whole fandom, Mashima played his cards right.
