I prefer NaLi over NaLu because Natsu and Lisanna do go way back and those two together appeals to me more than Natsu and Lucy.

Just because two friends go way back and had a crush on each other in the past doesn't mean that they'll still feel the same way in the future. People grow apart and fall out of love all the time.

Look how often Natsu spends time with Lucy over Lisanna. NaLu go on missions together (work related) and spend most of their time together outside of work (free-time)

In Natsu's free-time he's free to do what ever he wants, anything in the world but he chooses to go over to Lucy's house every-time even when she's upset with him being there.

I'm sure Lisanna would be happy to keep Natsu company, but you hardly see them together inless it's an group event. While Natsu may still care about Lisanna as a friend and member of Fairytail.

It's obvious that Lucy fits the role of partner, bestfriend, and love interest for Natsu.

Well, we can't really say it's obvious Lucy should be for Natsu. We all have our own opinions including Hiro Mashima himself. If you are predicting that the Fairy Tail series will end with Natsu and Lucy as a couple, then fair enough. But to say that Lucy has to be with Natsu is a little bit overboard. Besides we all have our favorite pairings and shippings anyways.

That's true. But it still shouldn't prevent us from discussing our favorite shippings/pairings. Even though Hiro Mashima is almost making some relationships canon, I still prefer other shippings/pairings other than what is known as the Big 5. That doesn't mean I disagree with all of them, I just prefer some other relationships between the characters than the ones being matched up right now. Again, its just difference in opinions and preferences so in the end we should all still be able to understand each other and Hiro Mashima himself.

The point of my earlier post is that we shouldn't be affected by the pairings/shippings that other people prefer. If the statement was "It's obvious Hiro Mashima is pairing Lucy and Natsu..." then I would agree. But to say "It's obvious Lucy and Natsu should be together..." kind of sounds like any other couples are inferior which they really aren't.

I put Miraxus in the top 5 too due to bias, but the other 4 are certainties.

Mashima will make MiraXus canon with blonde haired babies by the end of series.

Maybe Zeref x Mavis has to be considered due to the plot relevance in this arc.

I feel both Zeref and Mavis are destine to die in eachother's arms. they need to be put to rest after living a life of hell, Lucky after seeing Future Lucy we know that Fairytail has heaven in their universe.

Well no... I was kinda support nali just so nalu not happening Lol... in my opinion natsu and Lucy is not compatible becoz of natsu protective act toward Lucy Lol....I just want Lucy to fight alone more so that she could prove how strong she is ..

Lissanna is the first love of Natsu, Their family has been fixed. i'd hhate mashima if he didnt make NaLi go through. I love lucy but I want NaLi no matter what!

After the Christmas special and seeing Lucy snuggle up to Natsu, I'd say I'm fully on board with NaLu. Lisanna had potential, but really nothing has really happened between her and Natsu ever since she came back from Edolas.

He didn't say it was canon, at that event in 2012 a reporter asked him what a kid between Natsu and Lucy would be called if they ended up together. Mashima said he hadn't given it much thought, but jokingly said the child would be called Nashi. That clearly doesn't confirm they're canon.
