In the Gruvia fandom, Gray's scar is already known as "Juvia scar" OTL

He's just trying to cosplay Natsu cuz Natsu got a wound on his pelvic/hip area when he was protecting Lucy from Future Rogue.

Both girls should thank their respective guy some time by kissing that wound.

Juvia kisses Gray's.

Lucy kisses Natsu's.

Gray does look better with Juvia. The coloring is so good.

I use to love Lucy/Loke's bond up until gmg. Their last good moment for the pairing was Tenrou. When Lucy said for him to come back to her... because at some point Loke replaced Taurus as the Pervy spirit who comes over and makes the sexual innuendos. He even has the hearts in his eyes and blushes like Taurus use to do at BoS. And he flirts more with women in general. And Taurus himself doesn't do it as much. Being either in the background and not saying much or being serious.

So I think Mashima really didn't know what to do with his character and just made him for comic relief even tho he had one of the most unique character developments from beginning of series as a player who became an immortal guarding the girl who saved his life.

It sucks because I agree, Loke had a stand-out development and was a pretty good character. I'd have actually liked him and Lucy together, it made a lot of sense. At least we know Loke isn't asexual

No they don't look good together at all. Lucy and Loke isn't a good ship and never will happen anyways. He is a womenizer and unfaithful. Lucy never took him serious because she knows he is a player.

Natsu shows some interest in women before so he ain't asexual. He wanted to see Lucy while taking a path back in GMG. Check at Mashima's comment in the last afterwords. You will get your answer that he ain't asexual.


Lucy deserve the best.

She deserve Natsu.

no because i don't really think Erza and Jelall is a good couple, or maybe i don't really like Jellal? maybe, ohh but Mystogan (with his mask cover) and Erza could be a great couple, since mystogan doesn't posses any magic power, talkless, very cool, and mysterious... it is very contrast to Erza, she possessed a huge MP power, love to giving nakama preach, cool ok, and sometimes she is just stupid

if this ship turn into Fairy Tale (Tail) version... Erza and Mystogan is fated to be together, because they're both princess and prince, abandoned princess and abandoned prince, what a couple!!!!

- They both has a parent who obsessed with Dragon power
- They both didn't love their parent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mystogan banished his father from his country, Erza?? she choose Makarov over Irene
- Their parent is an evil villain with a good motives (Mystogan's father want to save his country from short of magic supplies/ Irene want to defend her Alvarez Empire to kill enemy of humanity, Acnologia)
- Both Mystogan and Erza got abandoned since very small
- i think they have a same sense of justice
- Oh both of them is the clostest to Wendy (after Charle ofc)
i think i shoud stop here, before i'm starting to make a fan fic with a typical princess love story and ending the story with "and they lived happily ever after"

Well I like Natsu and Lucy pairing more because other pairings did not work out. In the beginning, there was an equal opportunity for any of the ships unlike some shonen inuyasha where the main ships get super established, super fast. I like Mashima didn't have any of romantic relationships happen in the beginning and let it develop naturally. I like the fact that in the race to be canon that other Natsu and Lucy ships - Nali, Lolu, Naza, GraLu - bit the dust. Becaus it has an element of realism to it. Weeding out your past, the players, the friends, the could have beens...... to find the real one.

One to rule them all.

I know not everyone would agree with this.

I don't think Graylu ever had a chance, even prior to Phantom Lord. And Gray does look better with Juvia. Hiro made them compliment each other.

At the same time if it was Juvia on the bench people would assert it as a Gruvia moment, can't have it both ways but it's a common double standard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gray and Lucy never was gonna happen, the main person who thinks it'll happen is Juvia. I think the only reason people thought it could of happened was cause of Gray's first impression on Lucy, besides that Gray and Erza probably had more equal or more validity. If Natsu and Lucy are more than friends, less than lovers Gray and Lucy are a level below that

I don't think sitting on a bench would excite Gruvia fans anymore. They are far passed that. And besides, the two are drawn together all the time. I don't see Gruvia fans claiming it's an actual moment, it's just a nice sight if they are standing next to each other.

The irony is that Juvia is the only one who thought Lucy was a love rival. Hiro made it a joke on purpose because there was no chance, he was making fun of Graylu. In reality Juvia has no love rivals, but technically Gray did: Lyon. (lol)

One reason I like GrayMi is due to the dynamic of their relationship.

For those that don't know, I really respect and enjoy female characters who are emotionally strong and independent of their boyfriend / male counterpart. That's why you always see me advertising Gray x Mira.

Erza is always claimed to be a "strong" and "independent" woman, but I think she is just outright bossy and biased towards people like Jellal/Natsu/Makarov.


On the other hand, Mira best represents what a strong-willed and independent woman actually looks like. Since she was first introduced, she has always maintained a confident and respectful attitude... she never imposes anything on anybody. And for that, she has become one of my favorite female characters of FT.


For me, the ideal female type is someone who isn't a puppet of her boyfriend/husband. I particularly don't like it when female characters feel the need to attach themselves to their male partner and allow him to control her like she is hanging from strings.

In fact, I actually prefer female characters who can treat themselves as their partner's equal. In other words, she doesn't need to depend on her male partner to have satisfaction in her life.

And I personally think Mira does a great job at that.


That's pretty much why I think GrayMi is the best couple of FT. Their dynamic best fits the image of both a strong male and female. Both individuals in that relationship are capable of treating each other like equals and neither are emotionally obsessive.

Plus, they obviously look good together. Their black/white hair contrasts pretty well and they are both badasses.


Jokes aside, the overall point of this post accurately sums up why I like Gray x Mira. Half the time, you probably see me post GrayMi stuff and think I'm half-kidding or something.

But the above paragraphs are actually the real reasons why I enjoy seeing Gray x Mira moments.


I've always wanted to see "Gray, Mira, Lisanna, and Elfman vs. a Spriggan" in this arc, but too bad it never happened. Gray and the Strauss Siblings have quite an interesting dynamic, in my opinion.

Dunno, I never found that ironic given Juvia seems to be quite possessive and easily jealous. If Gray showed any homosexual/bisexual tendencies, she'd probably see Natsu as her biggest or second biggest rival.

But despite being one sided against neither side, I still stick by with what I said. It's another way of saying Juvia-Lyon never had a chance in hell of happening, which is why I disagree with Lyon being Gray's rival. True, and Loke seems to be a playboy as well.

It's honestly hard not to think you are kidding when half of the things you said about this "dynamic" are made up. Well, I do acknowledge that it is a crack ship. And actually, most of my favorite ships are indeed crack ships. I dislike 90% of the "semi-canon" ships in this series.


If I were to be honest, one thing that separates me apart from the majority of FT shippers is the fact that "proof" doesn't matter. I understand that there is this "ship war" in the Fairy Tail fanbase over which ships have more proof, which are canon vs. non-canon, and which are more likely to happen.

I happen not to care about any of those.

Headcanons, fan assumptions, delusions, and manga proof are none of my concern. I pretty much just look at all the characters and decide which one looks good, according to their personalities and dynamic.

I'm already fully prepared for the main ships to get together. I'm also fully aware to see Acnologia get defeated in an absurd way.

But I still think GrayMi is the best couple in FT.


And while it's true that Gray and Mira don't have the greatest amount of interaction, each of their encounters and conversations are always of the highest quality.

Early in the series, there were many hints such as Mira always teasing Gray and fake crying only in front of him.

Gray has also shown to specifically call Mira, "Mira-chan", which is a suffix added to a person's name in Japan when a female is considered special or valuable to the male.

And Mashima has also made a "romantic relationship scandal" chapter cover featuring Gray and Mira along with a few sketches of those two together in the past.
