Why should I waste my time shipping two characters that barely interact? I am not so desperate for ships since I don't watch for shipping purposes. I rather watch a romance anime for that. Minerva and Rogue is a better ship since we know at least they interact.

Personally, I do ship NaLi and not NaLu. The latter is cool but Natsu and Lisanna have that history and I would've preferred it if Mashima kept that going. Instead of Natsu, Lucy could've went with Gray or something.

From my own experience of dealing with shippers over the years, The most of Nali shippers are not actually Nali shippers, They want Nali to happen so Lucy and Gray could have a chance together! and they also force Juvia to Leon, when she clearly don't like him.

I was actually both Nali and Nalu shipper until GMG arc, Then i started to realize how pointless the nali ship is, I don't have problem with lisanna but she has no interest in Natsu, Having times with him in their childhood doesn't make them a legit ship because both don't even spend 5 min together. on the other hand, Natsu and Lucy are the perfect match since their relation is dynamic and they complete each other. Yeah they are not developed like the others but they are less forced ship and their relation is natural not spoon feed.

I find the relationship of natsu and lucy more developing than that of gray and juvia and especially that of gajeel is levy. For gruvia, I had more the impression that it was juvia who acted and Gray did not care at all about her until the arc alvares. For Gale, I had the impression of you mistreating me so I love you by de levy. To the point of telling me that if jet and droy would have mistreated Levy, she would be with one of the two.

The most developed in my eyes was erza and jellal and instead of its being Gale to be formalized at the end, its should have been jellal and erza who deserved it 100 times more

Well the implication is there was more emphasis on Natsu and Lisanna's relationship in their childhood than after she returned. I'm saying that's not the case. Mashima gave the same amount of attention, or lack thereof, to both. Change my mind on that.

Before I got into FT as I am now, I remember how I was stuck between shipping Lucy with Natsu or Gray. But when I got to the Phantom Lord Arc and seeing that episode of Lucy jumping out that tower and Natsu saving her was when I dedicated myself as a Nalu fan

Nalu only really exists on his Twitter.
In the manga there are only goofy stuff and little to no real development.

Shipping in FT is really only for fanfics.
FT is not mature enough.

Jellal and Erza are not asexual childish people, and they almost kissed in a real canon chapter.

Alvarez Arc is chalk full of NaLu moments. About 1 in every 8 chapters. Heck, we somehow got NaLu moments in Eden's Zero.

It really isn't fan art if it comes from the author. I won't deny there's a fair bit of fangirling on the fan's part, but that's common for pretty much every ship. I could just as easily argue NaLi is 90% fangirling and 10% anime filler.

Yeah but all the hype from Tartarus got trashed out.
So for me it's like nothing happened.
The only actual couple good developed is Gajill and Levy, even Erza and Jellal.
Nalu is nothing more then casual redoundant brief moments of fanservice.

For me? Gale is more a development of Stockholm Syndrome than a good development. The girl gets beaten by the guy. Then the guy helps her for the S exam but he makes pllus for him only for her. At the beach she “avows” she’s in love with the guy. Frankly she would have fallen in love either after the eclipse or a tartaros. Where he’s developing nalu, it’s from the GMs. Natsu who prefers the fight more will save lucy. His reaction to the death of lucyF who considers her a precious person for him. The hug of the end of the eclipse arc.

people are really over thinking some of these ships. think about them through the eyes of mashima.

if he drew them then there most likely possible ships.
