Hey what do you guys think of Stargate ?

Personally, I am dissapointed overthetop by the new season...I hate that new guy, I find him obnoxious, hard-headed and he lacks the charisma Anderson used to have...that girl who always argues with Daniel is also pretty wack...

So! I'm still watching it in 22 and a half hours! It counts.

I like Vala Maldoran... don't knock her, she's actually the one good thing the show has left. Of course you have to also be a Shanks fanboy/girl to like her, since most of her character revolves around him so much..

Personally, I think season 10 is better than 9, and it is decent, and Morena Baccarin looks 10x hotter than she EVER looked on firefly.. god I love Adria.. that said:
- Carter should be the leader, she has the same rank as Michell
- I don't mind them adding Michell, but they shouldn't have tried to replace RDA, instead they could have had him be the new guy.. kind of like when Teal'c first joined up, and then everyone loved him (not like Jonas though, they screwed him up too).
- It seems like they don't advance at all.. they found a device to hurt the Ori, but they don't produce portable devices that they can actually use on missions a couple of episodes later, they capture Baal and his Scientist, but they get absolutely nothing out of both of them, they talk to Ancients and all they get out of it is they get to fight a dragon..
- THEY KILLED 2 EARTH SHIPS IN SEASON 9 WTF!!!! I love those damn ships! They're wasting imaginary tax dollars damn it! And I really liked Col Pendergast, but they killed him off :/ Then they go and kill Col Emerson! I hate how they keep killing off side characters as if "oh look another one died" it doesn't matter.. It's really bringing down the show for me that all these characters that are actually really good characters with potential die..
- The show is getting cancelled, and the 3rd to last episode has... something happen.. that I am going to be pissed about if they resolve it in a single episode.. ..something.. was supposed to be the season finale, but since the show is getting axed, its going to be treated like "oh well, another days job well done" despite the fact that it was sooooooooooo f****ing cool for that character..

On the plus side, in my opinion Atlantis keeps getting better and better..

Is anyone else watching Heroes? It's a new show on NBC (United States) where a group of individuals gain superpowers and through strange events meet up to eventually stop a huge explosion from happening in Manhattan.

It's up to episode 2 atm, they're both online, so if you don't get it where you live, I suggest you download both and not read spoilers or anything since the show is like a million times better if you just watch it without knowing what will happen next (similar to lost).

Gold Knight mentioned Heroes to me last week. Might as well check it out. I think I might pull off a Lost Season 2 marathon later before downloading Season 3 episode 1 (It should be available when I'm done.)

It's up to episode 2 atm, they're both online, so if you don't get it where you live, I suggest you download both and not read spoilers or anything since the show is like a million times better if you just watch it without knowing what will happen next (similar to lost).

yeah, i downloaded the 2 episodes and i think it is GREAT!! i wish it stayes the same after that!!!

the lost season 2 has startd. first episode is out. and i also think vala is kind of like extra right now. maybe they will eventually devoleved her character. besides shez too goofy most of the time. i like Stargate Atlantis better now.

Vala is no goofier than Jack was, I don't see why people keep knocking her..

I hear the ending to episode 3 is waaaaaaay better than the past 2 episode of Heroes (how is that even possible, I stood up and just kept saying "omg!" and "what!!!!!" over and over again at the ending of episode 2) so I have hope that Heroes will have a future on tv.

we have here in our coutry an entertainment show wherein they got here a segment called "Pinoy Henyo" (lit means Filipino Genius).

two contestants are selected. one would be the one to guess and the other gives clues saying only "Yes", "No", or "It can be". the person guessing would draw a noun word (any noun word for that matter) and they stick the noun word written on a board on the forehad of the guesser. the guesser then asks for questions that may lead to the correct answer and the other person would give out clues.

for example

the noun is One Piece (sorry, I love One piece sooo much)

Guesser: is it a person?
Hinter: No
Guesser: is it an animal?
Hinter: no
Guesser: is it an object?
Hinter: yes
Guesser: do we enjoy this stuff?
hinter: It can be.
.
.
.
and so on just wanted to share with you guys XD

There's no limit in the number of questions; however the person guessing is only given 2 minutes to answer. What bakashijinsan didn't mention was that before the round starts, another person is chosen to be the "victim". If the guesser doesn't get the answer after 2 minutes, nothing happens to the victim. If the guesser gets the answer within the time limit, the victim is dunked in a tank of water.

yeah it really is fun. because you'd really be amazed at how the contestants were able to get the answers or not get answers. because it's all due to the hinter's ability to guide the guesser.

i guess i'm not really into Tv shows lately. i forgot that one thing. it's coz here in our house there is a strong barrier cast on the remote control that you can't even touch it. and the worst case is, it stays on a noon time show that's full of crap. XD

Hm.

Right now, I'm really into Scrubs, thanks to my best friend who force fed me her Season 1 DVD. XD From then on, I was a fan, and downloaded the rest of the seswasons off torrents.

Show that I used to be into (still into now, but not as fanatic as before):

X Files (Can't believe no one mentioned this I love this show, although when I was younger, this show was the reason I had the full left side of my face scrapped off from the carpet, and scarred for a month or so)

Friends: Me wuvs so much. XD I love comedies like this

Myth Busters: Got to see this in the UK, and later when I visited the Philippines. It's fun I love stuff like these XD

Law and Order: I know for a fact that when I was younger, my mom used to watch the show when we had cable. I only got to actually see an episode when we went to the Philippines last Christmas and during summer. I got hooked in December, and watched it everyday when we were there. Same as last summer.

Ally McBeal: XD Just hilarious. I think this show was the reason I love Scrubs so much.

Just shoot me: Behehe. More comedy series. I just love 'em.

Lost: I was actually able to watch the very first episode, when it first started showing in UK. ACtually, we were in Isle of Man when it came on TV.

Pinoy Big Brother: Now...I've seen the English version of Big Brother, and I must say. I was rather shocked to see the Philippines' version very different.

Namely, it was more aimed towards family, rather than the show being sex-filled and...whatnot >_<. The English BB was fun enough to watch, but I jsut couldn't bare watch certain scenes which proved to sick to a certain point.

Which is why I greatly respect PBB, since all in all, it's actually a good show, where moral issues are learnt, as well. So yeah >_>;

Anywho, all the english shows mentioned above, save for Scrubs, I used to watch when we had free cable. But blah. S'all gone now. I haven't watched a single American show in two years, in this house. Which is why whenever we go for vacation in the Philippines or the UK, me and my brother sit our asses in front of the TV and watch the whole day. XD Like once, there was a Friends marathon in the Philippines. We didn't go out of the room at all. XD

Updated Roster:

Stargate (till they cancel it ), Scrubs, Boston Legal, Heroes, Jericho, Smallville, Simpsons and Robin Hood

Show that has rejuvinated my belief in it: Smallville, Green Arrow kicks ass, Batman eat your heart out.
New show recommendation: Robin Hood, BBC new series worth downloading in my opinion
Show who's season is finally restarting: Simpsons and the halloween special looks awesome.

holy crap!
i started watching HEROES yesterday. and this series kicks ass! ok, its very similar to x-men, but i dont like x-men. so this is like a good x-men, which is awesome!
