I've seen the first three episodes of season 3 of House of Cards and I'm not enjoying it as much. For starters, this season feels like last season even though the developments are a little different.

But most importantly, I can't shake the feeling that this show is not helping people understand corruption in Washington and in other governments, but rather, it is making them ok with it. Now it's entertainment instead of being something to worry about. And the actual members of Pussy Riot in the third episode (whose official dogma is anti-capitalism) criticizing the show's version of Putin? And after hearing it's President Obama's favorite show as well as a favorite amongst elites in China, I can't help but feel and see the propaganda angle of this. That really takes away from me giving a shit

I really like the pilot of The Returned. The second episode is okay too. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is performing so well in this series. Emmy award incoming.

Just finished watching the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Funny and optimistic. Looking forward to Season 2.

I just finished watching Silicon Valley Season 1, and I have to say that I just cannot fathom how it made it on HBO, since it was mediocre. Yes, some parts were funny, but as a whole, it was pretty bad. Don't waste your time like I did.

I like Richard Gordon's Doctor series. Wonder if anyone watches them before, or even read the books.

It was an old TV show since the 70s, but the humour was kinda strange at times, a little different from the comedies nowadays.

I agree for the most part, it had funny bits but not as good as it is made out to be, though this is one of the best jokes i have ever seen and heard in a TV show

Why should we take it seriously? The fighting scenes are awesome. Many shows skip those or make them short/uninteresting. This show on the other hand has 1000 of them every episodes.

Because it´s mostly about fan service like zellogan already said with its fighting and sex scenes which displeases some.

A new game show started, Monopoly Millionaires Club. It is pretty incredibly to see all these winners and games based around monopoly. Only issue is to win the games you have to split the money with people in your section, so 100K gets split to 50K split to what appears to be like 40 or so people. Best Saturday show otherwise.

Mark Hamill is enjoying his return to the scene (after kingsman). His appearance in the last episode of the Flash was pure fanservice. Hard to not have a fangasm when he is quoting star wars most famous line.

Apparently there were quite a few nods to his character( he his reprising the same role he played in the original Flash series). including the warehouse filled with costume and props, musical queues, etc...

I do hope he returns next season, even if briefly.


This should be fun.

House of Cards and Better Call Saul (and Breaking Bad, if you haven't watch it) are good series. The only network series that I watch are Person of Interest and Hannibal, not sure if they are right up your alley though.

Yep, Hannibal is pretty much the best show right now if you ask me
Other than that, The Americans is pretty good, it´s about a married couple in American in teh 80s that are actually Russian spies.
Peaky Blinders, British show, is really really good
Louie is always funny, though pretty specific humor i guess
