Hey, I just realized something. We keep hearing that the demons were too much for the humans, the fairies, the giants and the goddesses combined. But were they really? Because there are factors that point to the opposite. For example, the red demon. That guy wasn't that strong. Sure, he was fighting a sin and another 3 powerful holy knights. But Griamor, Gil and Howzer never used a combined attack and it looked like each could have easily defeated him. And the gray demon was easily stopped by purge, proving that in a lot of cases effects don't need to match the power of the target, just be enough to show compatibility. Like with Mel using Full Counter against Albion. Or perfect cube against Galan. And let's not forget hellblaze, which even if used by a low rank demon was able to damage something like the holy tree more because of effect than power. Yeah, the ten commandments are strong, but it is suggested that it may partly be power they extract from human souls, and not really their own power. A similar concept was used with Helbram and Ban. While Helbram "borrows" power and abilities instead of having his own like he "borrowed" the eyepatch-guy's appearance and killing methods, Ban "steals" power and abilities, like when he stole (and still steals) whatever he wants. It's not the only instance where a relatively common and simple ability becomes one's special ability. Wall is nothing but an advanced shield, which has been shown others can use too, just in different ways. Perfect cube and
Pollen Garden for example. So Helbram's and Ban's abilities working in a different way than a common spell that can be learned by at least one race doesn't seem that farfetched to me. In fact the ten commandments appearantly don't have any developped abilities, truth was literally given to him. And the fact that Meliodas, one of the supposedly strongest demons in the past has the same minimum as other members of supposedly weaker races? In fact, I suspect that 26000 isn't really Galan's minimum power. He probably sucked out a lot of souls while on his way to Camelot.
