I wonder what about him makes it unmeasurable though?
It was probably a term used to emphasize his power as a member of the Ten Commandments, nothing more. His magic should be seemingly "immeasurable" to your average fighter, and even Denzel and Deathpierce noted that his power was far beyond that of an ordinary demon, which is, for human standards, terrifying.

Even Galan PL can be measured so saying his PL is unmeasurable is very important IMO. We can't really know the reason right now, we don't know much about most of the Commandments.

With Balor's Magical Eye, sure, but everyone who'd witnessed Galan without checking his power level described the pressure of his presence as mountainous, fear-inducing, and shudder-inducing - Diane even asked how someone like him could even exist.
We've even seen Ban say that Meliodas' power was "bottomless", which it clearly isn't. It's just an emphasis on Gray Lord's magical power level, in my opinion.

But as far as we know, there is no other way to rate someone's PL with numbers. All these guys never faced a threat similar so their reactions are understandable, they are like ants.

It's exactly because they don't have Balor's eye to gauge their power levels that they deem these demons' powers to be cataclysmic and "immeasurable"; as you said, the rest are like ants, so they can't express their thoughts about such power levels clearly.

But Nakaba is the one telling us his pl is unmeasurable, not the characters in the story.

I can't argue with that, but I highly doubt the meaning is literal. We know that he's not the strongest of the Ten Commandments, too. I'll stick with its being an emphasis until proven otherwise.

That may be it, but claiming it's immeasurable (no matter what reference you use) implies that it's that - immeasurable.
It's a pretty big title to be taken literally, to be honest.

I'm not even taking that literally. It's a pretty common hyperbole statement to express someone is really really extremely strong. Like, in comparison to the grey demons especially it is a tremendous difference. I don't think it really means it cannot be measured. Just that is is somewhere ten or twenty or maybe more stronger than a grey demon, which is an absolute freak case.

A bit of a blanket statement though. I think it just means his power level is one of the highest among the demons. It's immeasurable in comparison to lower level demons.

Immeasurable is an absolute word - you cannot say something is "more immeasurable" than something else. Saying it is immeasurable means that it cannot be measured no matter what you use as a comparison or reference point; immeasurable with respect to a Commandment and immeasurable with respect to a Red Demon is the same - immeasurable in comparison to something measurable.
That's why it's supposed to be a hyperbole and therefore not supposed to be taken literally.

If, on the other hand, you state that it's "immensely superior" or such, it makes perfect sense.

Credit to my good friend Harbour from NF for coming up with this. It's imo too good not to share. It resulted from me making a non-serious remark about how Fraudrin has a thing for targetting pretty women - first Liz, then Deldrey, now Friesia:

So, i wouldnt be surprised if Fraudarin will turn out to be a woman. I mean, she LOVES Dreyfus body, and we didnt see her true form in details. Maybe she has some female features. And even if she doesnt, it doesnt matter, she is pretty ugly demon after all.
Also i should noticed the strange fact, that Yak mentioned - Fraudarin killed many women. Maybe she has the grudge against them, like you know, jealous or envious woman.
Its actually will be much more exciting and hilarious reveal than Fraudarin-male. It will make many things looks funny, like Fraudarin toying wih Dreyfus wife, his best buddy Hendy because she wants Dreyfus to belong to only her.
I like that idea. Also that will balance the percentage of male/female TCs.

p.s. shit, now i believe in this theory and want it happen. That will make duo Fraudarin-Dreyfus even more epic, and potential trio Hendy-Dreyfus-Fraudarin more hilarious. Hendy and Fraudarin will fight for Dreyfus. Best buddy VS crazy envious bitch. Im gonna watch this match.
I never saw it that way. That is totally interesting. And would be a nice twist. I mean, Fraudrin has Gowther's decree, right? Who is a trap, basically. Fraudrin could be a reverse trap. It could actually be a femme demon inside a male body. Which would explain why (s)he groomed him to grow out his hair and give him fancy armor and shit. And those homoerotic or bromance tendencies with Hendricksen could actually be totally heterosexual affections. Creepy, twisted and weird heterosexual affections, mind you, but still.

Ayy Harbour, I'm sold on this shit. Would be too good

Truth be told, Hendricksen and Dreyfus saw his body, heard his voice, and Hendy eventually referred to Fraudrin as "he" when he was telling the story to the Misfits.
Ah, and Meliodas said "he" was one of the Ten Commandments when he was talking to King.

But isn't that a bit tricky in Japanese? I am no experts but don't they have specific words for when a male refers to himself or is referred to but sometimes it is also used by tomboyish girls and vice versa? It's theoretically still possible =P

Well, immeasurable could simply be hyperbole. If the demon in question really has power which would be immeasurable by demon standards then we are talking about something that surpasses everything we have seen so far. Which would be surprising considering escanor's and estarosa's power is well within the realm of measurable. I think there are two options when it comes to the supposed mutated grey demon. The first would be greylord who is clearly related to them. The second would be good old galan. Safe for his face and wings his power is very much like that of a grey demon. A bit thinner but similar.

I guess there is another way to look at this as well. What if the passage refers to the power literally being immeasurable? Not in the sense that it has infinite power or even vast power but rather that it is conceptually impossible to read it? So whoever is going up against this demon is going in blind without being able to feel or read the enemy's power.

Yeah ! It's really tricky !
Boys/men usually refer to themselves by using the pronoun "Boku" ( the rather polite one) or "Ore" ( the virile and manly one) while girls/women use "Watashi" ( the neutral pronoun but most frequently used by females) or "Atashi" ( the typically and exclusively female one)

If Fraudrin refers to himself with the prnoun "Ore" there will be no doubt that he's male but if he uses "Boku/Watashi" it will still be diffcult to tell ( by the way Diane refers to herself using Boku which is usually used by males and in the otherhand some male characters use "Watashi" ). And finally, if he uses "Atashi" ( which i highly doubt) then he is female or an OKAMA demon ! xD

I'm down for anything, no matter how Fraudrin sees himself. He or she is pretty damn awesome as a villain. I hope he stays long time, it's so entertaining when he uses Dreyfus for his vicious schemes. Poor Dreyfus though, how he hasn't lost himself and just given up after all those years is a miracle.

I don't know how Japanese works, but if that's the case, it's still possible, yes.
It would be a cool twist.

I just saw this post on julymarte's tumblr where someone points out that Fraudrin/Dreyfus in the latest chapter is in a panel where he holds the soul of Freesia and he sports both the demonic mark and black eye AND his normal coloured one, musing that the two persona's might have actually fused permanently and are now inseparatable.

Needless to say, this worries me greatly, too. I love both Fraudrin and Dreyfus but always had hopes that the latter would eventually be freed again. Now I'm scared it won't be possible.
