Well ! there are major differencies between Dolor and Galan cases ! First of, Escanor's blast was a huge wave of destruction that was compared to Estarossa in magnitude and Gloxinia even said that he almost died from it, it wasn't just a little slash like what he did to Galan ! secondly, from their fight with Meliodas, Dolor and Gloxinia didn't prove having regeneration like pure demons or Red Demon Hendrickson ! They were solely relying on the Moon Rose for healing which is way slower than automatic regeneration taking the risk to have their guard wide open !
And i maintain that if base Mel was already stronger than Dolor, it would be beyond stupid to not face them 1 vs 2 since in his demon mode he would be so much far stronger than them that their numerical advantage wouldn't be relevant anymore !

I agree ! but for now we don't know Dolor and Gloxi' PLs ! and by shounen logic, i think it's unlikely they will be weaker than Galan ! ( it would be anticlimactic to say the least)
Little slash? Galan probably lost a few hearts from that. Apart from the one he had already lost. I am not so sure it makes sense dolor and gloxinia did not have regeneration abilities. Even hendrickson had those. I think it makes more sense that dolor and gloxinia simply didn't get a chance to use that healing during the fight and the drop of life was a better alternative anyways. It even healed merascylla's charred body. We have not seen the black stuff actually heal regular wounds for the most part, it has been used to join back their bodies and such things for the most part.

Why would their numerical advantage be irrelevant? I am not sure of what you mean with this one... Mel did confront them 1 vs 2. He did it by keeping each one down at a time thus being able to alternate between them. But he did vastly outclass dolor and gloxinia.

Idon't think Galan at 40K would ahve beaten Base Meliodas, his PL si higher but Meliodas has a much better technique and his feats against the Commandment duo were very impressive. I don't see how Galan could have done that, even if he started to use his mark after a while.

I am not sure of how exactly you'd determine what commandment is or isn't more powerful to be honest. They are all rather arbitrary in how they work. Estarosa definitely has a dangerous ability in that it is easy to fall into but I would still think it is far less severe than the other commandments we have seen in a way. Galan's or merascylla's commandments definitely had more crippling curses after all.

As for galan, I would think that he was indeed the more capable warrior than merascylla. Merascylla specializes in manipulating souls and apparently darkness related spells. She didn't even fight bam while being juiced up by galan's strength. And going by PL alone it makes perfect sense that galan would have been one of the stronger commandments in general, 40kPL is nothing to scoff at even among the commandments. In that form he would have one sidely destroyed base mel (32k) which is quite something considering mel even overpowered dolor in that form. It would have been interesting to see how galan fared against a transformed meliodas.
The Love Commandment is less severe but Estarossa himself can attack you while you can't do anything. It's much easier to make someone feel hate than to make someone lie or lose his faith. You don't even have to asnwer to Galan's questions. With Estarossa you must have an insane control over your emotions, I don't see how someone very emotional like King for example could ever face him regardless of his PL.

Meliodas is without a doubt an excellent swordsman but I would question him having a technique edge over gallan. Meliodas did beat the crap out of galan but we have to consider there was a 6000 worth of difference in their PLs, evidently quite a bit of it being due to strength. Gallan even has named techniques for his spear moves so far. Meliodas does not have any named swordsman techniques. If base mel faces overdrive galan I really don't see what meliodas could do, everything we have seen in the manga would suggest gallan would unilaterally destroy him. Remember galan vs escanor? There was a 10k difference between them and that was the sole thing that determined galan being unable to even cut escanor. There is no reason for us to think meliodas would do that much better here.

Dunno, I would actually think several of the sins would not actually fall prey to estarosa's commandment unless there are special circumstances that cause them to trigger the required emotions Escanor and meliodas are a given in his case. Merlin does not seem like the type that would fall for this, she probably does not hate her enemies. King would fall o estarosa's commandment only if the targets are diane or his kingdom. Other than that I don't think he would take it personally enough to be affected. I am not 100% sure if ban has been affected by the commandment so far. Gowther is literally incapable of feeling so he would not fall prey to this. Diane is the most "normal" of the sins so I could see her fall prey to the commandment.

So I already had a theory, prior to this chapter, that Mel could potentially become the final villain.
And now I'm even more convinced of it! So here's how it will go. We know that the demon king has been feeding off Mel's emotions, and it seems he cursed him for that purpose.I said that once Estarossa kills Eli, Mel will completely lose it, and he's switch off his humanity, and become the most serious threat to Britannia. He'll even claim the throne of the demon king for his own. With the lastest info I think the demon king will possess his body altogether.
The sins will have to fight their former captain and try to get rid of the demon king, by exorcising Mel.:XD

I thought that part was already cleared up.
The beast with the likeness of a mountain wasn't Albion, it was Galan.

Slader literally says "His overwhelming pressure is like a mountain."
That's where the likeness of the mountain comes from.

The three heroes are Elizabeth, Arthur and Gowther who are left standing at the end because the first two were in perfect cube and the last one is literally the one who made Galan leave by using Harrit on him.

The big hole could refer to the commandments themselves, because they represent darkness.

Merlin said Gowther was created by a great magician right I bet she referring to the Demon King. Since we know he can create complex things like the decrees of ten commandment. The reason for his creation was to act as a bodyguard for Meliodas. Melidodas betrayal of the demon clan will have something to do with why Gowther left the 10 Commandments.

The way I see it, the mountain refers to Galan, as stated before and evidenced by Slader's comment.
The three heroes imo are Meliodas, Gowther and Merlin since it was them who had the most impact on this fight. Meliodas fought Galan the longest and hardest, Merlin protected everyone at the expense of her own life (or rather physical body) and Gowther tricked Galan into leaving and stopping him from trying to break Perfect Cube or finish off the other fighters who weren't protected by it. That imo makes them the most outstanding among the people present.

The hero that bores the hole into the ground is obviously Meliodas since that is his schtick. He burns holes into the ground with his darkness beam.

So, Meliodas can reflect magic attacks while Estarossa can reflect physical attacks. Do you think Zeldris can do something like that but with Spirit? Like, he can reflect magic and/or reflect attacks but the reflected attacks affect the mind of the opponents like Invasion or something?

I am not sure of how you could reflect spirit. As far as we know spirit is not something that can be directly converted into some form of power. Though meliodas did seem to pull through his fight against hendricksen and co through sheer spirit so perhaps there is something to the idea. Realistically speaking meliodas would have had about 1300-1400 worth of strength and magic against them. To me it sounds very reasonable that gil and hendrickson would have had at least that much power in the combination of both stats considering gil was at 1900. If spirit can make that much of a difference in combat then zeldris being able to reflect it might be even more effective than the full counters we have seen so far, it would in theory work with any type of attack though to varying effects.

Perhaps more interestingly, if it is a spirit based full counter then it would be a magic that perfectly synergizes with his commandment so to speak. His commandment makes it so that those with weak will have to bend to his own. And those who do face him will have every ounce of spirit they have returned to them in kind.

Nah, that'd be overboard in my opinion. Besides, I think Estarossa's Love basically covers that ground somewhat.

Good find. There is some crossover with this as well. The never turn your back on a foe stood out the most to me.
Yeah, to me too! And some of the chivalry rules are outright named like the Commandment decrees - truth, faith, charity, etc.

Granted the rules of chivalry largely are based on Christian faith but it's still nice to see the parallels.

Even though I think Meliodas will return as an evil person and probably interrupt the current fight, I don't think Elizabeth will die. The point of the series is for Meliodas to end the curse, and Elizabeth will have to live in order to deem the curse as lifted. I can see her "saving" Meliodas, and then they defeat the Ten Commandments and the Demon King, however the latter appears.

Meliodas may or may not die in the end, this time for good - it's more fitting.

Here's one theory I've been having for a long time. The Goddess clan asked Ban to kill Mel right? We assume that they did it out of revenge, or because he's a serious threat to them, which he was 3000 years ago, enough to dissuade them from attacking the demon clan.
But what if they knew he grew weaker and didn't have all his power, and more importantly that he had broken a few decrees? To ensure that Mel got his power back and free of the decrees they wanted him dead.
Or knowing that he's linked to the demon king, and being afraid of the latter taking over his body, they saw that it was better for all the clans as they have said if Mel were to die.

The Goddess clan did nothing wrong.:kappa

I'm not buying it. I can understand Mel not spilling the beans about his past due to the implications that come along with the truth but if the Goddess Clan wants allies, then they should've just told Ban with clear reasoning why he should kill Meliodas. They have really no reason to keep their motivation hidden since they are not considered the enemy in this series.

At least not yet...

Imo they're a bunch of assholes too XD
