It's basically an action romcom set in a contemporary school full of like superpowered martial artists. All routes are pure vanilla. The way it works is each girl has her own self contained story which are all lengthy and involved. Though it needs to be said when it does get to around to "the spicy part" they don't hold back. And fun fact, Gintoki voice actor Tomokazu Sugita is actually in this, and he's fantastic.

Also Kawakami Momoyo is best girl. Her route is great.

Eroge have around 15-20 minutes of sex scenes in a 25-50 hours long story, if you only want to look at sexy stuff there's obviously more... "focused" stuff out there I feel that pretty often people think eroge = nukige. Eroge are character-driven stories with a very limited number of sex scenes (which can also be skipped, if anyone feels uncomfortable about them), while nukige focus on a story usually revolving around having sex (now this is somewhat similar to porn).

I'd prefer Eroge over Nukige, if I had to choose.

Haven't read that one, but I've seen a number of people compare it to Grisaia, so that could be something good for you as well : D

My point basically was, a person shouldn't dismiss/denounce a creative work simply because there's some bits of sex in it. I've actually never read a nukige either, because I want a good/great story in my Visual Novels

And tbh, I don't think sex scenes are ever needed Hinting at them, yes sure, because sex is a part of being a couple. Never a fan of series where characters become a couple but don't even kiss, or only kiss once... or all that stuff like cuddling and whatnot a couple does but never happens in manga/anime, I feel that's usually depicted rather bad in a lot of manga or japanese media in general, but exceptions exist.

I have a slightly different perspective. Is it "needed"? No. Ice cream doesn't "need" hot fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry either. But I'm not going to complain if it has those.

If a story wants to throw a little "bow chicka wow wow" in there somewhere, I owe it to the writer's artistic vision to enjoy it to the fullest. And so I shall.

I'm pretty much the gold standard in this forum for innocence. FT allows me to explore the possibilities outside my usual.

I will keep that one in mind. I checked your animelist recent and put Kill la Kill in a 'soon to watch' basket. Hmm I usually go for the more ecchi looking ones, just that Takagi low-diffs most of the competition.

Well depends on what you're watching. If it's an action story where two hot characters are the leads, if there's a sex scene it's fanservice/not needed - but like Jammin said it's still welcomed (?). And there will be certain stories where the sex scene can give another layer or effect or some realism to what's going on.

Finally caught up with Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko and Carol is definetly my fave here, not to mention how much I ship her with Misuzu

By the way started this manga that I was never sure if read or not (it even got an anime adaptation) and it's pretty good "Kono Bijutsubu" o/ do you know it? Pretty fun and the romance is cute and simple

Can't blame the Carol choice. She's probably more my type as a character compared to Misuzu too... but I developed that crush on Misuzu early and it can't be broken.

You don't want to know how much I ship Misuzu x Carol. Especially with Misuzu not paired up. I just hope that scrub (forget his name, the guy who talks with Jun and likes Misuzu) doesn't get with Misuzu, she deserves a better quality character.

They all are best girls, even Tomo-chan became my number one many times, but Carol is Carol, and her moments with Misuzu makes her even greater.
Right?? The lack of screentime of that guy gives me high hopes for MisuCarol to happen lol, there are some mangas where there was a second yuri couple, hope that it happens here as well.

Hey Brand you should really check "Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekeru".
It's from the same author of Takagi-san, and while the female MC isn't superior to Takagi she's still a potential waifu material (also the male MC is pretty cool as well)
