Lots of chapters are getting released today. It's ironic that the artificial Ghoul Kaneki is the one who wants Touka to be out of the Ghoul world now. Rize is still alive and everybody is starting to suspect Kanou.

It's the first time he lost since his hair turned white.

Wow you spoiled me quite a bit with this post Demon, didn't consider that you read the speedscans of Kawa Oh well, I'm definitely going to wait for Twisted Hel Scans doing the quality version, they've been Editing Tokyo Ghoul since the first chapter and did a really great job, I refuse to read speed scans of groups who jump on the anime train instead of respecting the group who did it since Day 1. It's not like they are slow or anything, quality just needs time.

Sounds like some interesting stuff though. Did you read again from chapter 1? And how did you like Kaneki's "transition" thanks to Jason? To me that was the best part of the manga thus far.

I read from Chapter 1 yes, it was good but it really became better around Ch 60 w, I was fine with Kaneki at the beginning but he is better now, though if he becomes too much of a dark hero I am not sure if I will like it.

Is it going to be a manga where we actually get to see a MC change? If so is Kaneki development up till now wasted?
I mean the author can go any direction at this point. Amon and Hide could already be out of the picture.

I don't think it is wasted, it's better like this IMO. Even if he comes back he can't possibly be exactly the same as at the start of the series, he can fight now. I am not sure what happened to Hide but it would be pretty sad if Kaneki is finally able to see the light and lose his best friend in return, I believe he is alive but CCG might have found out that he helped Kaneki, Arima already knows his true name. I am certain Amon is alive though.

But before this, he needs to survive against Arima first. I am expecting Yomo and Uta to come and help him and probably die... All the adults Ghouls are progressively dying, Suzuya lost his mentor too.

I don't know but this entire chapter just screams out his death and even if Yomo and Uta were to come Arima would handle them easily and at this point with both his eyes dug out and his body full of holes im not sure if there's anything anyone can do.
Amon survives but with half an arm gone, so if he's not going to die the author might make him an Edward Elric?

Touka can replace him and maybe with Hinami if he really dies and we will see how his death will impact on their characters. I am not sure about this but I believe it is possible to heal humans with RC cells too.

Why is Kaneki alive in the first place? Investigators usually kill Ghouls before taking their Kagunes, I doubt someone like Arima would not notice that he is still alive, he could have killed him easily.

That's exactly what I'm saying, like there's actually no way that I can see Kaneki getting out of this shit alive(if he's not already long dead).
Uta and Yomo might come and drag time but Arima can easily finish them off and at this point he should already be dead.
Yet the author won't throw all of kaneki development out of the window...right? I mean fans would kill the author and won't accept a new MC.
Anyway, the only possibility I can see is the Owl rushing down to save/revive Kaneki.

This is my first time using a spoiler so please correct me if I do it wrong. I absolutely adore Tokyo Ghoul though and read through pretty much the entire series in the last week.

I cannot imagine them actually killing him. He is basically the only main character and way, way, way, way above other characters in popularity polls. Not that that matters necessarily, but I can't imagine them killing him off and then choosing another character to be the main now. I think one of three things will happen-the guy stabbing his eyes out right now secretly is working for someone else and is going to kidnap/capture him and knows he can handle being stabbed like that 2. Other ghouls will show up and save him 3. Total Centipede RAGE full transformation. I think they will really rely on the regenerative powers ghouls supposedly have and with Kaneki being "special" even among ghouls so maybe more regenerative powers. We did see one ghoul get decapitated and then somehow live so it isn't out of the question that he could survive a pretty traumatic even for a ghoul physical attack. Though, I do think he may be blind or close to it after this. I also really hope he didn't eat Hide

That's nice to hear about the popularity poll. Anyway, I thought he might died but after hearing this and that from here and there I doubt so now.
Arima acting for someone actually makes sense and that would explain how he knew Kaneki's name and would further explore the conspiracy happening at CCG
(that they might be involve with creating ghouls somehow.)
Yes, that's a nice possibility.
This arc has been a real blast so far and I'm enjoying it a lot but not as much as Aogiri(my favourite)

So spoilers from 141 have been released and Arima has made it to One-eye. I'm hoping this just means he left Kaneki alone to die, and didn't actually finish the job, but I can't be too sure at this point. The last page of chapter 140 has me believing that's it is really over for him.

The naked girl is Eto/Takatsuki Sen and called the manger daddy so that's why even Takatsuki Sen walked inside the HQ the sensor didn't go off because she is the original human/ghoul just like what happened when Kaneki walked to the sensor and it didn't go off

i don't think that Amon is dead i think that Amon was saved by Eto/Sen and they put in the report that Amon is dead because they only found his arm in the site

there are 2 possibilities why Hideyoshi is missing
1. Kaneki ate Hideyoshi in the sewers Kaneke woke up with a sweet taste on his mouth maybe he ate Hideyoshi unconsciously

2. Hideyoshi ask Kaneki if he can go all out one more time i think after Kaneki got pawned by Arima Hideyoshi and some other CCG members will transport Kaneki's body to HQ because Arima said he needs a new weapon and i think Hideyoshi escaped with Kaneki's body bag in tow
