I'm assuming the Birdmen themselves experimented with Gourmet cells. In the pyramid, all of the wall paintings and whatever showed the Birdmen attacking the monsters that were in the pyramid, in the "specially prepared" way.

Great chapter. I think that the revelations about the birdmen will be about everything that is written and known after Acacia first saw them. I wouldn't be surprised if the birdmen are the humans of gourmet world. The world is divided into two pieces and a small portion of humans has made it into gourmet world. I really think that we don't have to look it too far. My guess:

Birdmen came into human world before humans came into gourmet world. It would be even cooler if the birdmen are an older race than the humans. Their knowledge about ingredients seems to be more developed. I think, taking their connection with acacia in account, that we can safely assume that they are probably aware of a famous ingredient (maybe famous ingredients) such as air, god, earth, etc

Wow! What a great manga I was missing... Since OP years ago I learned I shouldn't judge a manga based on its art, but still took long for me to give this manga a chance! I read it in 2 weeks though.

Great chapter! I'm a fan of Zebra, really a badass character. I'm already missing his absence in the next arc...

It's actually interesting what's going to happen in the next arc. Are we going to see another arc based on finding a new ingridient and develop Toriko's skill to enter Gourmet World or we are going to have some other confrontation with Bishokukay?

Well, technically every arc thus far has been based on finding an ingredient, but I don't think there's going to be any fights with the Bishokukai at least until the Gourmet World, because we'd be wiping out the potential strong ones too fast. I kind of like this training arc though, the introduction to new environments and scenarios, along with the new beasts are fun. Maybe we'll see new model GT Robo's or something though.

There is still the 3rd and 2nd branch Chiefs of the Bishokukai who were deemed not yet ready to enter the Gourmet World we have yet to see fight. It seems as if each branch Chief gets stronger the closer you get to the number 1 branch.

The 1st branch Chief is the strongest of them, and when they all gathered for their collective meeting the Head Chef kept asking the 2nd branch Chief all the questions, it seemed like he was the strongest and most well informed there.

It would be good to have another arc where the good guys have to face off against the 2nd and 3rd Chiefs; although, Toriko himself in the two chances of fighting the branch Chiefs hasn't faced them, but rather fought against the Vice Chefs.

Well, rather then have Toriko fight those branch chiefs, I'd rather see some other people in action like Coco and Sani, but we're probably not going to be seeing them for a while, since this entire thing is Toriko's training arc for the big entrance into the Gourmet World.

Looks like there will be new informations about God, the Gt-Robos and the Bishokukai.
Awesome, I really like the Bishokukai, since they are such a powerful organisation.
I hope a new confrontation between the Heavenly Kings and the Bishokukai will come soon.

So they are called Nitro and were able to build civilization. This are sure some intriguing birds. And they are targeting Chefs. Maybe Komatsu should keep is 2 bodyguards. And Toriko also find intriguing that the bird on the sky didn't attack them. There is probably something even IGO is not aware of under that fact.
Somehow, I don't think Toriko departure for the Gourmet World is that far now, how long do you think the chief list is ?
