The silliness lies in pretending like those two things even begin to be comparable. Ren was a jobber and was protrayed as such. Baam didn't come off like some kind of conquering hero for stomping on him.

The fact that Baam had come so far that he could casually test his abilities against and easily defeat the same person who taught him not so long ago was rather impressive to me at least. Baam even pulled out his Evank handbook and dissed him at the end.

I’m not hoping for a flashback, but it’s clear that there was a time gap between when Yas took WWs heart out and when Yas instilled fear into the baylord fangs! He needed to conduct research to put fear in the fang at least!

I think the shinwonryu from floating carriers have limits to how much they can produce and they don't have any quality. From Rei's shinwonryu we can see there is another version of shinwonryu. Shinwonryu from an irregular>>>>>shinwonryu from carriers.

But it was clear that the Yama before sleep and the current one are different.

I never thought I'd say this, but Sly's idea makes a lot more sense, the pot did something to him making his maternal lineage awaken or his general powers stabilize.

There is nothing to indicate that the current Yama is using transformation.

BTW, it doesn't look like he caught the 3 fang

I don't remember if it's been stated or not, I don't have it in me to check right now but it's been implied that Revolution was exclusive to Irregulars. If everyone could do it Data Eduan would have trained Baam's friends more after the Shinsoo Attribute practice. Thor also only trains Irregulars.

Only thing I really liked about this chapter is Khun getting pawn.

Khun getting the pawn is actually fitting. Pawns are the most worthless pieces yet the most game changing pieces.
It doesn't take much time to realise that's how SIU writes Khun except for the fact it's not done in a good way most of the time.

There will certainly be more of that. The fact that it was a replica of the original bracelet which he made the workshop create. He was probably testing its power using Rachel. There would be many more such replicas if he wishes.
Gustang is in a war against the ten great families which is not a joke. He must be thinking of tapping on that shinwonryu technology as much as he can. I won't be surprised if he plans to equip his army with that bracelet.
But that shinwonryu would never be as powerful as the original one for sure.
