Hanna Yu is the breeder from Season 1. Khun gave her his duplicating bag in exchange for breeding fish to help the team.
No no I don't mean Hanna,I meant the interpretation that the Heroine "isn't clear yet in the story" may be true.

But I personally think at that point at least the Heroine did not appear.

Edit.

That's Sunwoo Nare. Hana Yu was the train cart attendant/Yura Ha fangirl from Train City who joined Baam's group at the same time as Boro and his students and didn't really make it past the fake ticket tournament.
Arg you’re right.

I really thought about this and I personally think that Enne is the Heroine that SIU mentioned.

My reasons are:-

i)SIU mentioned that the Heroine is still a long way to go after the Workshop battle ended.Enne was introduced after that.

ii)Adori is giving all the vibe that she is going to be an enemy to Bam.Only Enne can go on par against Adori. So if she becomes the lover of Baam then Enne Vs Adori will be a definite fight.

iii)There will be a Zahard princess arc which will happen in season 3 or 4.Yuri will have a huge role in it and I think Enne too.

iv)Gustang is doing everything to unseal her daughter,I think in the princess arc this will play a huge part.

@Jammin what do you think?

I think it's possible. Though personally I wonder if what SIU means by "heroine" is the same thing we're thinking of. And if it is then I'd wonder if he'll stick to that plan.

Because, here's the problem with either Enne or Adori as a primary love interest, the later that's established the less effectively he's going to be able to form a deep romantic subplot. Not saying it can't be done, just that's it's really difficult to do well. Just think about it. He needs to create a foundations and build that up. Unless we get to Enne or Adori pretty soon here starting that up is going to be awkward. Which with Adori he could play off for laughs pretty well like he's done with Yuri. With Enne I think it might be harder because she's so inherently tragic.

I honestly think there are two effective ways to do it.

The first is to have Androssi and Baam become an actual item here pretty soon. Build that relationship up a lot. Then (and it kills me to say this) have her die tragically in whatever will happen with Anak. Then SIU could have a character like Yuri, Enne, or Adori step into that void. I don't like this for obvious reasons.

The second much more preferable option is to have Androssi compete with somebody for Baam's affections. Somebody like Yuri or Yihwa. Then build up both sides of that at the same time and as long as Baam doesn't reject either he'll default to the harem route. On that route. It's easy to add in late love interests because your building into a relationship that already exists.

Anyway... I still think Androssi is best girl.:amuse

Well Tower of God is a long running series so he can develop characters in the long run like say in 100 or more chapters,of course this assuming that Anne is the Heroine and the future love interest of Bam.

SIU could go Hiro Mashima’s route and have them end up together but not really together (like Natsu and Lucy). Of course those two met from the very start, but SIU could have Bam feel some affection for someone he just met and went through a big trial together. The problem with this, as you’ve said, is that Bam is seemingly oblivious to love interests so then we are left with building on past friendships.

I agree that if you want to have them end up together then you have to build to it, otherwise it feels rushed.

There's a third option: throw a mind-control monkey wrench that makes Androssi "not an option, but also not really herself" for awhile. SIU seems to have foreshadowed something like this for ages—maybe even back in S1—but obviously whether or not it is used for Androssi/romance plot is up to SIU. If SIU went that route it'd free up room for a new challenger to arise.

I'll say this, nothing can add as much to a story as romance can. And I think there is a lot of opportunity with that in ToG.

The challenge is going to bridging that gap with Baam. Which, I say challenge, but it's really not that difficult of a thing to do. Girl likes boy. Boy likes girl. They hold hands. After that's done you just build on it. Why shounen authors struggle so with this I'll never understand.:xp

He could do that. But in order for that to work Baam and Androssi would have to become an item first. The issue is laying the groundwork with Baam right? Establishing that Baam is interested in the fairer sex. Establishing that a romantic bond has formed. And then building on that as the story progresses.

See, personally, I wouldn’t at all be shocked if SIU just retroactively reveals a pseudo-confession scene timed just after last station and just before everyone split up again. Not necessarily the scene you’d want, but enough to leave the matter settled.

That seems more SIU’s style, and tbh I think the date chapter was meant both literally and as a trolling, meta-narrative hint we aren’t going to see that kind of romance in ToG. Just my opinion, but it is my opinion.

In any case I just want to make it clear I don’t like mind control plots but SIU definitely seems to be going that way with the princesses. Use that to monkey wrench Androssi’s situation and you set up room for a new challenger to arise and be taken seriously even if she’s never seriously considered.

I see what your talking about with the Snake Charmer but I'm not sure it will go down that particular route with the mind control. The most we've seen it able to do was keep her from moving. I'm sort of expecting that to be the extent of it since we've had princesses like Garam and Enne cause loads of trouble before.

Yeah that’s all we’ve seen and Maschenny apparently could break out of it. That said all I was expecting was an inopportune mid-combat freeze here, a no-show-for-rendezvous there, and winding up separated, trust-and-reliability concerns, or both.

Straight up personality-bending and mind-wipe plot points would likely have me at least considering dropping ToG.

I think we're safe.:amuse

Relevant.

No need for thots when you have master.
I almost mention that earlier. If Baam felt the way about a love interest he did about Jinsung we'd be in good shape.:XD

He's dumped Rachel for the pursuit of godhood.
He did say that, but he still treated her rather well when they were trying to reach the HF and was unable to hurt her even after hearing what she did to A.A. The current Baam would probably behave differently but still.

Honestly, Baam's attachment to Jinsung surprised me. I thought he was indifferent to him or hated him. I don't really believe that he likes him more than his close friends, but he reacted like that because of his situation. Baam isn't very "emotional" when his friends are safe.

It's a bit Stockholm syndrom-y when you think about it.

I think what SIU is actually going for is that Baam was in search of a pseudo father type figure and latched onto Jinsung who similarly latched onto him. In practice though, yeah, it's a bit weird.

Back onto the pairing stuff though. I really do like what he's done with Androssi. Especially during the hidden floor arc. And I still love the potential of what Elaine could be if developed. Yihwa is always good too.

What I'm waiting for is Baam to show more of an emotional reliance on someone like that. I'm eager for him to get to that kind of place.

Well i personally feel Bam sees Jinsung as the only person who didn't use him and genuinely cared for him in FUG and like Jammin said he looks as his father figure.

And now regarding Bam's love interest i will be happy with if it is either Kaiser(my favourite) or Androssi or Yeon.I won't mind if it is some new character if she is properly developed.

But let's wait for SIU to see who will be the love interest of Bam.
